Fuck you and your moustache Lanny MacDonald. No way Calgary deserved to win that Stanley Cup in 89', in the Forum no less. Kudos to the great Habs fans that CHeered your win. OK, back to the present, your 2011-12 Montréal Canadiens (1-1) home opener is tonight. Light the fucking matCH then douse those Flames (0-2). (juice & iRiRi) The puck drop is scheduled for 19h30ish but its Montréal, so expect a nice ceremony whilst you sip suds, slurp soup, stew in your own juices, sexytime the significant other. Usual RDSuspecTSN are carrying the game. Bonus no puke-inducing hypocritters, unless you plan on watCHing Bleu Nuit the anti-CHamber.

ReplyDeleteCalgary will lose and TFS gets 100th win!
Saw a fan pic on Canadiens website, his Habs jersey showed "leafs suc".
ReplyDeleteGYGHG
ReplyDeleteHat trick for Moeman
Well I'm liking the PK blog. But more interested in seeing if the Habs can put two good games together - they didn't do a lot of that last year. Cole needs to get his head out of his ass and show the fans (and teammates) why he's taking up space on the bus. And if Gomez puts in another stinker tonight I just might start a blog with Steve dedicated to making sure the Mexicant leaves Montreal before Christmas. I'll set up a Twitter account @fuckinuselesswasteofcapspace and dedicate my life to getting rid of him...so do something tonight dammit
ReplyDeleteNow GYMFHG!!!
Love the new banner
ReplyDeleteN31, what do you think of 'Diazling' for Pretty Boy?
ReplyDeleteThx Steve, a work in progress.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the new banner too!!
ReplyDeleteMan, Scarlett in leather .... took my mind right off hockey for a sec there ... whew ...
ReplyDeleteOh my Lord, I remember what starting from scratch feels like and having to do this.
ReplyDeleteBut FHF is the only place that I feel less douchy doing it.
Thanks Moeman for being our sexy pimp.
We'll be waiting at The PK'sists to do shots with you. But not on open threads, this is your home for that. Bar is closed during game hours.
http://pkists.blogspot.com/
Chocula was on FAN590, he said nothing. Absolutely nothing.
ReplyDeleteNice header moe!
ReplyDeleteI look pervy in that pic, no? I'm old enough to be their mom. I must go and have a nap before the game.
Good one Moey.
ReplyDeleteWOOOOOO HOME OPENER!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's the classic '84 Mac icon that makes the banner
Scarlett can avenge me any time
Gonna miss the puck dropping 4HFers. Back around 20h30ish, which might just be the puck drop! Have fun, play safe. 29!!!
ReplyDeleteGYFHG!
moeman it is an awesome banner, very nice selections.
ReplyDeleteAlready drinking scotch (your all gonna hate me, 18 yr old HP!) and getting PHucken' PUMPED BABY!
GYMFHG!!
PKist, that's rich, me likey.

http://chanfeed.com/6295/watch-calgary-vs-montreal
Seem to be confused on where to comment, Iv'e been somewhere else here.
ReplyDeleteIt's like a dual planet.
ReplyDeletethe feed above is diazling
ReplyDeleteLOVE the banner.
ReplyDeletePrediction 4-1 Habs. Cole gets one for sure. TFS gets his 100th.
GYFHG!!!
GYFHG
ReplyDeleteit's like Star Wars in the Bell Centre
ReplyDelete@31 - You were right on about Diaz.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad somebody is keeping this going. I was laid off and had to give up my Center Ice Package and when I say the old 4FHF closed up shop I was even more depressed!
ReplyDeletegymfhg
classy anthem. and quick!
ReplyDeleteTITS!!
ReplyDeletemeh
ReplyDeleteBullshit call on Darche leads to a goal.
ReplyDeletemeh again. stupid penalties
ReplyDeleteGio owes us some goals but that was a very frozen pack of penalty killers (most notably, Veber).
ReplyDeletePricey is off tonight, it's gonna be a long one.
ReplyDeleteTry to stay out the penalty box, boys.
ReplyDeleteOK - so three times at least the habs have pressure in the flames end - chocula...or someone calls "change" and they all fuck off to the bench, Led to the third goal. WTF kind of bullshit system is that?
ReplyDeletewe are sucking, the system is fucking the life out of this team/
ReplyDeleteLooks more like everyone is off. That pass from PK to Gomez's feet right in front of the net right to a Flames stick. That kind of off. I mean what the fuck, THREE GOALS by guys who had nothing but net to look at forever and no one to bother them. (Well no one's stopping Bourque's shot, I don't care who you are, that's a goal unless he just misses).
ReplyDeleteThey left their hockey smarts back in Winnipeg.
Two in a row - anyone remember the last time that happened?
ReplyDeleteSo what the hell is the new goal song?
ReplyDeleteI was horrified the other day to hear "Feeling Hot Hot Hot" when the Flyers were scoring. That's a bit too perky for Philly...
How do you delete comments? No reason.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they get their collective shit together and start passing to each other and make a game out of it!
@31,
ReplyDeleteAgreed, everyone is off. But if Price is off we're screwed since he saves their asses most of the time. He looked like he was getting his mojo back. *blesses self*
Typical. So easy for the Habs to get penalties eh? No call on the trip on Moen...
ReplyDeleteMartin is an idiot.
ReplyDeleteThat's all I got.
Punch drunk Habs. All drunk, no punch.
ReplyDeleteso Hans are at the cap, but it doesn't look like they have anyone who will get over 55 points. What a joke
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's back to the ol' win one lose one ways eh?
ReplyDeleteFucking brutal.
ReplyDeleteWell fuck guys just stand there as your goalie makes a save off the neck and has to scramble to make 2 more with a 3rd going in.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a system.
ReplyDelete215 am and i'm not insipred to stay the course tonight - sorry but I don't see any more goals for the good guys - hope I am wrong but i'm outta here!
ReplyDeleteGYMFCSHG!
is it too early to boo?
ReplyDeleteNot only do the Habs usually suck against the Flames (and oh look, Colorado is next...) but have sucked in home openers since the lockout.
ReplyDelete@matt,
ReplyDeleteOf course not silly. People boo in the off season. Knock your socks off.
What did I miss kidz?
ReplyDeleteSounds like I put more effort in making a banner than our Habs.
These guys couldn't score in a brothel with a pocketful of fifties.
ReplyDelete@Number31, home openers, sweater retirements, 100 anniversary celebrations, all good reasons to suck in front of the faithful. They haven't failed to do so yet.
ReplyDeleteFire Martin.
I take some solace in knowing it's really only game 3 though.
ReplyDeleteBut RDS seems to want to trade Cole back to Carolina already.
a men's league D, with no star forwards and a great goalie. Probably 10th or 11th
ReplyDeleteTEA AND COOKIES. That'll make me feel better. (GYFHalittleplease?)
ReplyDeleteHey Maritimer,
ReplyDeleteThe 100th birthday game was a great game though. Cammy had a hat trick. Need to bottle it, and feed it to the other players.
I'm not able to watch this game, but sounds like more of the same. Not able to score, Chocula changing every time they start to pressure, take stupid penalties. Awesome...
ReplyDeleteA lot of these guys would be great AHLer's. AK46 in particular.
ReplyDeleteSeriously. It dribbles wide by a bit AGAIN.
ReplyDeleteHey Tanguay, nice to see you play like this. Too bad you were quite the opposite while a Hab... Third time he's back-checked and picked the puck off a stick tonight. Don't remember him doing that ever.
ReplyDelete@31,
ReplyDeleteOne of the best first lines evah. Circa 2009, Koivu, Kovalev & Tanguay. It was a beautiful thing, brings a tear to my eyes even now.
Did see much of the game but where the fuck is the intensity?!
ReplyDeleteFlames played like a team who's GM threatened their jobs. And yes, he did threaten their jobs.
ReplyDeleteHabs were flatter than my magic ginger ale. (Which is pretty flat).
wv. fackl it all
Hey. No one got hurt. Except for some pride.
ReplyDelete@31 Well, at least there's that. Need to get some optimism for Saturday against Avalanche.
ReplyDeleteWas CHocula's coaCHing career nicked, even a bit? The Fucking System is shit.
ReplyDeleteNordilanche/Avadiques are gonna get the anti-CHambers bleu in da face.
ReplyDelete@Moey
ReplyDeleteYea it was awesome for that 1 week it was cobbled together for eh.
My take on that game...What a load of shit! Every time the Habs had something going chocula (his name no longer deserves a capital letter!) decided to change lines...this has got to change and fast! There was no intensity - no drive - no desire!
ReplyDeleteTo Mr. Geoff Molson, I know you read all these blogs about the Habs to get a "feel" for what Habs fans are feeling.
ReplyDeletePlease remove Jacques Martin as head coach of the Montreal Canadiens. He is a boring as Hell coach that does not understand what it means to play offense. His "System" is to play prevent defence and wait for turnovers for opportunities to score. That doesn't work in today's NHL. Your team as currently constructed cannot play this style of game. They are too small and your defence is not tough enough to keep large forwards at bay.
Thank you for your attention in this manner.
On the good side
ReplyDelete- Lego was pretty solid for a guy who hasn't played for months
- I liked Paloosh, kid works hard
- Forechecking was great in the first few minutes
- errm.
On the other hand,
[too many to list]
Sigh.
N31 does all the work on the recap/review.
ReplyDeleteDidn't anybody tell them it was home opener and TFS was going for the 100th? Would been a great way to open.
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats to new daddy Hal.
ReplyDeleteMore support? Duh!

The good news is that the Canadians attempt to draft everyone who can skate in Switzerland is turning out much better than the Japanese and Belusrussian experiments.
ReplyDeleteI am afraid Montreal has caught a Mexican strain of the Blue and White disease. The only cure is to send infected players to the Panthers.
ReplyDeleteTime to join the most important movement of the season.
ReplyDelete"Occupy the Habs"
We demand Gomez goes
We demand Chocula goes upstairs
We demand Hash Brownies
We demand between period raves
We demand the dicky be removed from Habs gear
We demand every square of toilet paper be labeled "Buttman"
We demand PFK gets the green light every shift
We demand Habs players are once again allowed to raise the puck
We demand a bronze of Ken Dryden, Patrick Roy and slowly assemble a TFS.
We demand Habs away games against Buffalo be played in Niagara Falls Ontario
We demand the shaved ape's penis be stuck to a frozen flag pole.
We demand the little fuckity fuck play drunk
We demand a national reaseach project to make a fucking carbon fiber hockey stick that works.
We demand the Goat concede, " I really fucked up not signing Jagr"
We demand all Habs games be televised by the CBC, the rest of their programming sucks worse than True Blood season 3, and its a pain in the ass to find a pirate web streaming site.

Jagr was never coming here whether the Goat had interest or not. He was more content with pissing off all of Pittsburgh (again).
ReplyDeleteBULLDOGS ARE PRETTY AWESOME AND TRYING AT LEAST! Currently up 3-0 on the BabyJets--or as I call them, the St-John's Tim Horton's Ice(d) Caps. Our next great Finnish hope Joonas Nattinen scored his first goal in his first game, Brrrrock Trotter is on fire, Masse scored, and Patche's friend DeSimone scored his first. And this is with that moron Terry Koharski for a ref on the ice. Oh yea, and Aebischer is in nets for the Ice(d) Caps, lol.
PK and Veber on the point now? That's Bulldogs baby!
ReplyDeleteWTF!? R U doin' here? New post is up...
