So the Habs and leaf are now only 6 points apart. I've been gone for a while and didn't look at the standings (my therapist suggested I stop) but this is hilarious after listening to the CBC and my leaf friends. I thought the leaf was in 5th or something. At least Hab fans are smart enough to understand when their franchise is collapsing
h8nic was in hyper hate mode tonight. How these sick fucks can look at themselves in a mirror is a mystery. Unethical, unprofessional, immoral, unprincipled, unscrupulous, dishonorable, dishonest, wrong, deceitful, unconscionable, unfair, fraudulent, underhanded, wicked, evil, sneaky, corrupt, improper.
Goalie Guild "What a huge game for Price. He really does live inside a bubble. Everything outside happens faster, but his speed always stays the same."
Noted: Kadri elbows him in the head, and he still keeps with the play.
Nice to see you too Mr n. As I said, I was gone for a while and with the time difference it's hard to comment at normal times here. The new site is a bit more, uh, racy so I can't really peruse it at my elementary school.
Can we start shit talking the bruin now? What a classless dirty piece of shit team. Just watched the highlights. And you know what, it's completely the NHL's fault. They created this monster, heck they even handed it a Cup. Now they're upset because the rhino they've been keeping in their living is breaking the furniture? I guess a bear would have been a more apt analogy there. You get the point.
PHuckPHace Pherence, the most classless guy from a classless organization. Will never forget his gauntlet finger "sticking" and the acceptance of what was obviously a disrespectful gesture to the crowd and for the league, on national TV. Buttman has ruined the NHL.
Thank God the Rangers have ramped it up, I couldn't live if these pieces of shit repeated. They're goalies are tearing it up, maybe someone could try and "avoid" one and concuss him...you know by accident.
Boston Bruins defenseman Andrew Ference will have a telephone hearing Sunday morning with the NHL Department of Player Safety regarding his hit against Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonagh in overtime of Saturday's game.
Ference was assessed a major penalty for charging and a game misconduct, giving the Rangers a power play for the final 3:10 of overtime. New York's Marian Gaborik scored with 3.6 seconds left in OT to give the Rangers a 3-2 victory and sole possession of first place in the Eastern Conference.
"It's one of the most dangerous hits I've seen in a while," Tortorella said. "Nothing has to be said as far as what should be done. It's a pretty easy call as far as I am concerned. I talked to (McDonagh) really quickly after the game, but I haven't talked to him since." McDonagh crumpled to the ice after the hit, and was face-down for a while before being able to roll to his side and then get up on his knees. When he did arise he skated very gingerly off the ice hunched over at the waist.
Hey all! I know I'm late, watched my Sea Dogs kick the beejezus out of Halifax (Nathan McKinnon is a good one though) then came home and watched the Habs beat the hnic beloved leaf. Not a crushing for Juce but a solid 3-1 win. Mmmmmmm...delicious.
Moeman, Hughson and Simpleton sure were in full leaf apologetic mode tonight. They did manage to give some props to TFS, probably left a shitty taste in their mouths. The fucking Monster. They showed all the short side goals he's allowed lately. N31 might know this, they used to call that the AHL side. You let them in on that side and that's where you end up playing. And that's where he should be...or back in Sweden.
Anyway, it was a good hockey night for the Maritimer. Night all.
Short side, whatever. Sometimes it's just a really good shot on a good set up with some bad defence. Most goal scorers will get the goal on that side (Kovy did it all the time for us on Thomas). The Monster, however, should stop whining his guy bumped him. (Moen barely put the guy in there). He had a whole 10 seconds to square back up and did and it still went in. Also he didn't even have to deal with half the net crashing Price got.
Time for Ference to seek some forgiveness from the only being that might... might forgive him. From behind, in the numbers, with an elbow, player in a vulnerable situation, and he hits the sweet spot between the top of top of the pelvis and and in curve of the back that will send anybody on skates out of control. http://www.nesn.com/2012/01/vote-will-andrew-ference-be-suspended-for-hit-on-rangers-ryan-mcdonagh.html
Yep, that was the sickfuckiest I've ever heard the hnic crew. The entire game start to finish made me puke. I watch and tolerate it because it's like a sport within a sport - just how many slurs against the Habs and misnomers about the leaf greatness can I tally. Lost track 1/2 way through the first.
Ference should get 8 to 10. I predict he'll get 3 at most. If any.
Bruins head coach Claude Julien defended Ference and his style of play.
"Andrew Ference is not a dirty player," Julien said. "He's a guy who is trying to support what the league is trying to do as far as preventing injuries."
What a nice way to start a Sunday morning!

ferrence has so many apologists its like he has an overrated exec like say cam neely complaining on his behalf.
DeleteGuess they`ll come up with the old `self-defense`, or maybe not since it didn`t work last time. No matter, Julie will think of something for him say.
Deleteheh, tsn yipping about loudmouth kadri being hooked yet fail to mention his dives.
