Boom goes the Geoffrion. Ti-boume, Lil'boom, Boomya'll is on Montreal home ice tonight vs. the Wild. Good luck kid. I wish you the best possible career in the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge. (and added shout to the sick fucks at cbc/hnic to fuck off for burying Boom Boom's number retirement evening, we'll never forget you fucking assholes). TFS™ could use a win. The crowd could use some time to give Jean Beliveau a huge ovation. Previews from tsn, rds, nhl.

leaf lost in regulation - that's a nice way to start the day, and the month for that matter. New month - new start!
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!!
Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!!
Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!!
Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!!
They gave up a 3-1 lead, I'm just loving it!
DeleteGO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
For all the bitching we do about our team, can you picture being a Leafs fan? Jesus do those people suffer. And to think Ron Wilson was signed to an extention! Ha-ha!
ReplyDeleteThe bottom pic (pun intended) is wonderful.
It'd be nice to win tonight so we can know what a win feels like again.
A win would be great. Wonder how Staubitz would react against his old team tonight in defense of Hab if the situation occurs - he's only been gone a few days.
DeleteA lose to minny is good for the lottery, save it up for Saturday against the Leaf.
ReplyDeleteI say take 'em both.
DeleteGO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
I'm going to the game on Saturday so I can live with that. Come on 2012-2013 season!

ReplyDeleteI think it's too late, Google implemented today.
DeleteThanks for the heads up! I deleted mine right away. Can't let anyone know I'm really Pierre Gauthier...oops did I say that out loud? :)
DeleteFriggin' internet. You need to watch out all the time. Sometimes it's more of a hassle than anything else.
I agree, it's a hassle, especially to non-techies like myself. I deleted mine also, thanks Steve.
DeleteI read on msn that if you stay signed out of your google account while searching it can't spread over all services, you can also use different for google and youtube - giving us of course, more hassles.
Go Devils, Go Jets, Go Sabres.
ReplyDeleteLooking back on this shitty season, one only has to look at where the majority of the Canadiens cap money was spent. Gomez, Cammalleri, Gionta and Markov = more than a third of it. Then they had to plug the holes with the likes of Kaberle, Campoli, Palushaj and Enqvist. No wonder they sucked.
ReplyDeleteI've always thought the world of Bob Gainey, but I have to wonder if his daughter's tragic passing did #23 in. Would you feel like running a pro hockey team after that? I'll give Bob the benefit of the doubt and if he wants to hang around the team as an advisor or an ambassador so be it. He earned it. Gauthier on the other hand, don't think he's got what it takes to run a peewee house league team. I'm ready for a new regime to turn this ship around and I'm willing to be patient if it's done right. No more quick fixes or big UFA signings. Do it right Geoff.
@the M - What happened to Bob Gainet's daughter was tragic but I don't think it had anything to do with who he did ore didn't buy or sell or trade or whatever. I agree completely with you on the Goat and for a "proper" regime change. Let's hope they get it right!

ReplyDeleteThe leaf have bought Chocula's note book on Kijiji
ReplyDeleteI'll bet that also paid a HUGE sum, idiots.
DeleteSure is quiet around these parts lately. The disgraced Habs have sucked all the life and fun out here. They are so bad we can't even make fun of them anymore. It's no fun kicking a guy when he's down.
ReplyDeleteI remember over at FHF they said they gave up their season tickets 'cause they couldn't stand success. Where are LG77 and Golden Girl these days? They were always fun. Dang it, Gauthier has ruined a good thing by wrecking the Habs.
Middle of the week and its Minnesota = meh? Methinks Saturday's thread will be ice creamy.
DeleteThe Wild are a dull team. Also I think Koivu is hurt. I do love Cal Clutterbuck though...
DeleteSugar Sammy. Some Habs at the show last night, Sugar did a skit on PFK, but I couldn't find a video.

ReplyDeleteCarey Price earns Molson Cup honours for February
ReplyDeleteJust listened to PFK on RDS Hockey 360 - Sign that guy right now - he is GOLD!! I love his attitude
ReplyDeleteShit, I missed it!
DeleteI could care less if/when the leaf-loving sick fucks at ctv/tsn/sn take over NHL rights in Canada. I can't wait for the day that cbc/hnic loses it all.
ReplyDeleteI've got way too early a start tomorrow to be staying with this game tonight. leaf on Saturday will be a different story. So here's to the Habs building a little momentum going into the weekend.
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!!
Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!!
Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!!
Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!!
Gooknight KmaXXX, hopefully, you'll wake up to a win.
DeleteNice try friedman, your network decided to showcase a leaf slug, you sick fucking fucks and that includes you pjsuck.
ReplyDeleteBam Bam in the starting lineup
ReplyDeletejr
DeleteKeep trying mclame. Jean Beliveau has more integrity, humility and character than you and your sick colleagues will ever have, combined. Call me classless for pointing it out but you cbc/hnicers are nothing but cockroaches.
ReplyDeleteGO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
ReplyDeleteEntry level contract for Morgan Ellis! REJOICE! He's slick.
ReplyDeleteLine ref, celebrated.
ReplyDeleteCanadiens, always a class act!
BlanCHe Ass Mutha Fucka
ReplyDeleteAlso, too, save some of that for a leaf, or two.

ReplyDeletePFK!
ReplyDeletePFK!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGotta score here, right?!
ReplyDeleteyup, ppG 5ON3
DeleteAlso, too, save some of that for the leaf.
ReplyDeletePFK!!!
ReplyDeleteMethinks they should play Minny more than once a season
I missed who took out the goalie.
ReplyDeleteTook himself out.
DeleteNobody, it was a save he made on Cole, looks like a groin injury.
DeleteThanks guys.
DeleteLEGO!
ReplyDeleteLEGGO!!
ReplyDeleteLEGO!!!
ReplyDeleteBring out Staubitz!
ReplyDeleteCan't keep the black kid down.
ReplyDeleteWhy can't today's NHLers take a clean hit (without retaliating?)
Why no PP time for PleXXXe? Odd, especially since Gomez gets oodles of it...
ReplyDeleteHow come HNIC is on tonight anyway?
ReplyDeleteThey need to refresh themselves on who the Habs players are before their team's game Saturday, in Montreal.
DeleteWhy would they bother? Leaf will be the only team on the ice.
DeleteMaybe they have a 'national mission' quota .
DeleteHNIC if I remember correctly, was to televise more HABS games than leaf games.
DeleteHey, (Y) got hit in the face, goal should be disallowed!
ReplyDeleteHe was hit by Weber, doesn't count.
DeleteThanks, moey, all I saw was a stick and assumed, and you know what they say about assuming.
DeleteBring out Staubitz!!
ReplyDeleteStaubitz has beautiful eyes, I'm in love.
ReplyDeleteHe's pretty...
DeleteScratch that whole playing Minny more than once a season...
ReplyDeleteGO WHITE!!!
Weber you idiot... if he doesn't shove his stick down Emelin's throat, that goal never happens.
ReplyDeleteAt least les boys are sticking up for Price. This is a fun game.
ReplyDeleteYup, surrounded by 4HFemmes!
DeleteWait, I did not see the White sucker punch. Thought they both went at it.
ReplyDeleteCampoli jumped on him first then White tried to punch him.
DeleteMoey, you are our eyes! Thank you.
DeleteStill fuzzy to me. Thought I saw White punch Campoli too!
DeletePerfect Ron Wilson gone in TO send Chocula to the rescue. They deserve each other.
ReplyDeleteYeah! And throw Doucharek back into the lineup, he'll be great playing that defensive style.
DeleteWhat goes around, comes around.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.torontosun.com/2012/03/01/burke-throws-wilson-under-the--bus
GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
ReplyDeleteGetting crowded in our sin bin.
ReplyDeleteI was worried this would be a boring game.
ReplyDeleteSlapshot the sequel.
DeleteI don't get commercials on my feed, I hear the CBC guys talk. Last break: "This is why neither of these teams are in the playoffs". Really? This is the most passion I've seen from the Habs in months.
ReplyDeleteHaters gonna hate.
DeleteFrom what I heard, leafs not in the playoffs.
DeleteNot only that, of course they made excuses for Minny. So many injuries after all.
DeletePatches!
ReplyDeletePatCHes!
ReplyDeletePatCHes!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a shot!
ReplyDeleteSweet it is.
DeleteIs Boston in Minnesota?
ReplyDeleteI am always extra worried when something happens to Emelin's face :( Doesn't he have metal plates holding up his cheek or something?
ReplyDelete(Y) is in his first year. He will be a beast next year. Those that claim he won't 'fight' have no clue about the guys game. He's gonna be Hitsville O L É!
DeleteHe was once in a fight and opponent mangled his face (back in his country I believe) and they had to reconstruct his orbital (not sure what) that`s why he doesn`t fight.
DeleteouCH :(
DeleteListening to the CBC guys justifying that hit makes my stomach turn.
ReplyDeleteIts what they do.
DeleteLots of mysterious even up calls here.
ReplyDeleteAmazing you can literally almost paralyze someone and get the same punishment as someone who doesn't even touch the other player. Of course, in this league you get a suspension for making an 'obscene' gesture and not one for trying to murder someone, so whatever.
ReplyDeleteAs they put in on RDS re the Kantberle penalty, it was `virtual obstruction`.
DeleteIf the rest of the games are like this I'll be happy enough.
ReplyDeleteWhat is going on? Crazy game.
ReplyDeleteCole is even good at somersaults!
ReplyDeleteNow all we need is a goal by Geoffrion. Hey, Gomez has an assist and a blocked shot. Anything's possible.
ReplyDeleteI think Emelin should go and have a lie down.
ReplyDelete"There's lots of candidates" ?
ReplyDeleteI find they try to influence viewers on voting for the 3 stars, they probably couldn`t decide tongight.
DeleteNow that was entertainment.
ReplyDeleteSo much has happened, I was convinced that was the end of the 3rd.
ReplyDeleteWhat? It`s not?? I thought it was too. I`m sure their ticker on RDS showed 3rd.
DeleteReading that Sun article now.
ReplyDeleteObservation #1:
"Nobody expected him to get Rick Nash for gosh sakes. "
Really? The author must not have glanced at any Toronto, or 'Canadian', publication for the last 2 months, including the Sun. TSN was all but photoshopping a leaf jersey on the guy.
Observation #2:
ReplyDelete"And speaking of Nash, there have been numerous reports that Burke will go after Nash in the off-season."
See, they can't even go a whole half article about it and now bring it up.
Losers.
DeleteGO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
ReplyDeleteEverybody gobbled some aggressive piles today.
ReplyDeleteDDD!
ReplyDeletePatches!!!
ReplyDeleteDD!!!
ReplyDeleteWTF is up with my eyes today??
ReplyDeleteI need a drink.
ReplyDeleteI think 29 delivers.
DeleteThis Harlem Globetrotters PP gets on my nerves, Just shoot the freakin' puck boys.
ReplyDeletegoons win on OT.
ReplyDeleteLeafs already in town, huh? Here's to hoping they enjoy what this wonderful city has to offer!
ReplyDeleteDeath to Ca-Ka
ReplyDeleteOh my god, they're going to give up another 3rd period lead, aren't they? Holy shit.
ReplyDeleteAh, yes, now THESE are the Habs I remember.
ReplyDeleteHoly shit. This team has a psychological problem with the 3rd.
ReplyDeleteFUCKING REFS
ReplyDeleteOMG fucking ref is responsible for the non call on the empty net!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOf course, that was an incredible non-call on Patches directly in front of the ref.
ReplyDeleteWHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!>DHVJNJKCD ;adjhbz cjs
ReplyDeleteREF FUCKING ROBBED US AGAIN!!!
ReplyDeleteSo how long into OT does Minny score?
ReplyDelete3 goals in less than 4 mins to give up that lead. Is this an NHL club?
ReplyDeleteBe proud refs as you get zero performance evaluation and if criticized the complainer gets fined. Weird.
ReplyDeleteYou know, that was a horrible non-call. But they refs didn't give the Wild those other 2 goals. It didn't make our D suck. It didn't allow a team that can't score goals get 3 in the last 4 minutes of the 3rd.
ReplyDeleteKABERLE AND CAMPOLI MUST BE STOPPED
DeleteHope the refs made a lot of money on this game.
ReplyDeleteGood thing it matters exactly zero if they win or lose. Otherwise we might be throwing our TVs/computers through windows.
ReplyDeleteIt`s a fucking conspiracy, Wild is close to a playoff spot and we are not, so NHL tells the refs to do everything they can to stop us.
ReplyDeleteWe had that empty netter before they tied the fucking game.
FUCKERS.
Make no mistake, the refs didn't cost us this game. The boys sat back thinking it was in the bag. Also, I hope someone grabs that scuba gear off patches. I can use it on my next trip.
DeletePatches dove. The boys have to play ALL 60 minutes. Lesson learned I hope.
ReplyDeleteHe sort of dove right at the end, but he was hooked the whole way down. Besides, why would he give up on a for sure goal just to dive and hope for a penalty? But you're right, that's not why the game was tied up. The refs didn't hand them the other 2 goals.
DeleteThe rule is if a player is interfered on a clear empty net (hooks/hold/trips) it's an automatic goal unless ref just calls it a penalty if he thinks the other team had a chance to save the empty netter.
DeletePure skill. He'll be gone come July.
ReplyDeleteOf course it would end like that. Tonight it would.
ReplyDeleteYou couldn`t rob us in the end you ref pricks!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHA wtf.
ReplyDeleteObviously Setoguchi was frozen at the sight of his old friend Price.
Weird win.
ReplyDeleteleaf sux.
Time for lunch! Bon nuit tous le monde. Hard to realize it's already almost the weekend (probably because today was my only workday this week and it's already lunch time). See you at the rape and pillage of Toronto. Oh, I hope our crowd starts the "Fire Wilson" chant.
ReplyDeleteleaf came to town early, they have to have as much time as possible to see how a real city lives.
ReplyDeleteChez Parée! Work it beautiful danseuses.
DeleteI can't stop laughing.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for your blog recap N31.
DeleteMe too, me too.
DeleteI need Setoguchi Fail video first.
DeleteHoly Campoli 157 comments.
ReplyDeleteThat picture of the messed up Mickey pretty much summed up the game!
ReplyDeleteBonus, our Pants! laughed !
DeleteMay me just me, but I perceived all kinds of sexual connotations in that one.
DeleteMust be this visual problem I`m experiencing tonight.
Cole moonlights at Cirque du Soleil.
ReplyDeleteThe software is manufactured pretty user welcoming. This commercial scan resource computer software is
ReplyDeletevery advisable to pros and lovers.
