So what is tonight games versus the Caps worth?
Put WAS on the 8th place ropes?

Sabres lost too. They're blowing that chance we so gracefully gave them. Now it looks like we'll be helping the Caps tonight.
ReplyDeleteVancouver Giants are down 3-2 in their playoff series with the Habs-like-sweater-wearing Spokane Chiefs. Gallagher, however, has 5 goals and 5 assists in those 5 games so he's doing his job!
Another good Timmins draft pick.
DeleteWhat a disappointment last night's game was - I mean from the effort standpoint. 20 shots over 3 periods of hockey is just not good enough! I'm supposing that we'll get a Budy call tonight. Let's all channel our thoughts for the effort they need to make it an interesting game.
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!!
And for those of you fed up with my cheerleading, you'll only have the lovely and talented juce to kick for the next week. I'm off to the land of no internet until Good Friday - back just in time to watch the sun set on the 2011/2012 season with a good old fashioned leaf whooping. Until then boys and girls - play nice, don't feed the animal and GYMFCSHG!!!
Never get tired of cheerleading. It's all we got left for the year! That and complaining about Crampoli.
DeleteThe other day we were walking the dogs... Ziggy had his Habs sweater on. Some dude walks by to compliment it but then ads "you don't need to wear it anymore, the team is bad and there's no playoffs". WE WILL NEVER STOP WEARING THE COLOURS PROUDLY.
@KmaXXX Sorry you'll be away, I'll trudge on till the end. See you back for the cockroaches.
Delete@31, Ziggy on!
GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
Backstrom will be back tonight.
ReplyDeleteBackstrom has not played since Jan. 3 when he took an elbow to the head from then-Calgary Flame Rene Bourque, but the Caps No. 1 center was medically cleared this week to return to the lineup after passing a baseline neuropsychological test.
Can we get Bourque to pass the same test?? ( the useless fuck..) Oh BTW.. G Y F H G !!
ReplyDeleteMaybe we can steal a jersey from their dressing room, put it on Bourque and no one will notice?
DeleteGo Sens.
ReplyDeleteGo Islanders GYMG!
ReplyDeleteThings are getting ugly in Hogtown. They are calling Celine a bad power forward masquerader as a defeceman. Not fit to lead
ReplyDeleteheh, word is the fucking fool bark has sent out nonisnothing to prop up foo9. What Elisha sees in that fucking lunkhead (OK, I know, money) is beyond beleaf (see what I did there?) Die leaf!
DeleteThe season's still happening?
ReplyDeleteBREAKING NEWS ALERT
There will be a partial FHF reunion at 7:40 Monday morning on CBC Radio Daybreak with yours truly and HF4. Talking about the GM or something, I don't really know or care.
try not to speculate.
DeleteJM 4 GM!!!!!
Delete(no)

DeleteWahoo! Do us proud as usual.
ReplyDeleteElisha must have some coin of her own? She was a regular on 24 for a few seasons. Apparently she digs hockey players. WTF is up with the JM for coach again? No recycling please, we're in need of fresh blood.
ReplyDeleteHickey has finally gone senile.
DeleteMy God is john shannon a disgusting douchebag. A total piece of extreme shit that makes real shit look edible. Sick fuck.
ReplyDeletechristine simpson is a leaf hack. Find some professional integrity already.
ReplyDeleteGo Sabres! AMke these sycophants suck even more.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteIt still looks like we wont get GMoe unless we trade up with Edmonton. Is it worth a second round pick. And when did the NHL stat playing 82 games. Now I have to start from scratch.
DeleteWhen Huberdeau reports to Florida, that's where I'm going to watch hockey.....when the Habs visit. Geoff's not getting any more of my money until I see some serious progress.
DeleteLa La La leafs. They got nothing, Jake Gardiner is the only potential bright spot. Oh but they will have an awesome AHL team with half a dozen x leaf playing there next year. Celine, gone, Dount Boy gone, Monster, bye bye, Dou$hark, out of time, Gravol, making Carlye puke, its worse than a franchise team.
ReplyDeleteThe leaf media says gardener is a bright spot. Another over-hyped leaf.
DeleteGotta love auto-correct.
DeleteI thought I had something really funny to say but I don't care anymore - meh.
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing!!
Delete29 is gassed.
Deletemmm nitrous balloons...
DeleteIf Spearmint Rhino can become a successful 'gentlemen's club' name, methinks Nitrous Balloons is a boon of boobs bucks waiting to happen. I needs me a contract lawya!
Deletejohn shannon is a cocksucking asshole.
ReplyDeleteWow, what did he say?
DeleteMore of the same shit he always spews. Habs hate, leaf excuses, more Habs hate. This piece of stinking garbage has/had a total anti-Habs agenda for decades. I consider him to be in the top all-time Habs haters. I am in no way an aggressive/violent person but he is one I would punch in the face. What a putrid piece of wasted skin.
DeleteI agree with Scotty Bowman that Serge Savard should over time, remain as a senior consultant. Maybe not so much from a day to day player and evaluation process but as foundation piece to bring back the glory. The leaf can suck it.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, Serge said the Habs have lost their identity, maybe he can help them find it again. He could start by offering Dale Tallon a lifetime supply of BJ's at some gentlemen's club in Montreal for Huberdeau.
DeleteThey need to overhaul the pro scouting department so they don't make any more mistakes like Gomez and Kaberle. I'm gonna cut Bourque some slack. There has to be an adjustment period of some sort.
Agree with the M.
DeleteMaybe Bourgue's goal last night will open the floodgates for him.
DeleteGO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
ReplyDeleteSorry mclame, no go. I doubt 100% you care to have more of a discussion about the Montreal Canadiens. You are a disgusting piece of shit leaf lover with zero integrity. Like your team you should just FOAD.
ReplyDeleteFWIW, I often tell myself that I should rise up to the classiness of the Habs but when I see leaf fuckers (and anti-CH sick fucks) spew I cannot hold back and I put myself out there to reflect their hate and despicable comments about my team. If only to put it on some kind of record.
You are a loud and proud CH fan!
DeleteDIE LEAF!
very subtle tank, Budda in net.
ReplyDeleteBudda looked like he was looking for an exit.
ReplyDeleteSurely they could play a cardboard cutout of a defenceman and it would be better than Crampoli...
ReplyDeleteOnly 3 games after tonight N31.
DeleteHow's Toaster feeling?
And better looking.
DeleteToaster's good now! Still has a bump where he got vaccinated though but that'll go away eventually.
DeleteGO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
ReplyDeleteNo Habs NO, save it for Toronto last game.
DeleteNO tanking, we'll beat the shit leaf too!
DeleteBudda does give good rebounds
ReplyDeleteI hate his rebounds, always scares me.
DeleteThe Leaf are up one to zip against the Sabers, Buttman must be in control
ReplyDeleteScored on by a beagle. Woof.
ReplyDeleteAt least it wasn't a Toaster.
DeleteGood one Nthirty-one!
DeleteCole!!!
ReplyDeleteErik the Goal!
ReplyDeleteColé!
ReplyDeletecbc, home of xenophobia, racism, bias and bigotry since the ron & don show's inception (lets not forget foster's bile). Fucking clown shown is the pure representation of the sick joke hnic has become. What a fucking cesspool of smelly shit.
ReplyDeleteGov't budget cuts for CBC should have had a condition that funding would be restored if all leaf shit lovers be removed HNIC.
Deletebut ... harper is a leaf fan and word is the hnic's resident racist is an 'advisor's his big upcoming hockey book. Our country is fucked and fucked up.
DeleteYea whatevs Habs didn't hire Cunney to be coach. He's the INTERIM coach. No one ever mentions that the only reason his being a unilingual anglophone was a "problem" was because the moron mediots suddenly made a big deal of it and fanned the ridiculous flames of that age old garbage language issue. Much like the PQ party does when they feel lonely...
DeleteAnd what exactly leads Cherry to believe that Wayne Simmonds could have been a Leaf?
@moe, the one thing the clown was right about was Cunneyworth, but we will lay that at the Goat's feet. Never should have been put in that position. I just shook my head at some of the things that were done this past season. That was not the Montreal Canadiens that I remembered. I'm glad Geoff didn't wait to fire PG, let's get this mess behind us as soon as possible and restore Montreal to some semblance of it's former greatness.
DeleteTotally agree with N31 and the M. but the cbc clown's comments about the Habs mean absolutely zero.
DeleteGO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
ReplyDeleteCantpoli = useless POS.
ReplyDeletePleXXe!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTOMAS JAGR!
ReplyDeleteGO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
ReplyDeletesuperplexx does not like Russians
ReplyDeletePleXXXe!
ReplyDeleteFWIW, better effort tonight.
ReplyDeleteLet's win this game, bag 2 points.
AND
Watch the leaf parade with cbc/hnic as blue-balled marshalls.
GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
ReplyDeleteRBQ didn't score but almost knocked out the goalie. They must really hate him more now.
ReplyDeletebeagle never wants to be in Hunters dog house.
ReplyDeletedale hunter is fat.
ReplyDeleteThe guy sitting behind Hunter is fatter.
DeleteThat is good! N31 is on fire!
DeleteTypical eh. Hendricks needles PK into retaliating and then wants to fight him but PK sees they have a powerplay coming on something else and says no. Hendricks then hits Staubitz and Staubitz wants to fight him, but Hendricks runs away. Bawk.
ReplyDeleteJulien Brisebois will sign Staubitz long-term. Roy will love him.
Deletehaha, mclame says the cockroach milbury has the Habs in his heart. Sick fuck.
ReplyDeleteMilbury actually shows some smarts.
The jowly fried man says, wait.
Some cbc wad wharnsby chimes in with zip.
The only wad that has mentioned Dorion is that pathetic Habs hater john shitface shannon.
Milbury is weirdly calm and not as cockroachy as expected.
friedman points to the resident bigot. Points lost jowls.
Yup, mclame gets in every shot or dirty dig at the Habs that his twisted little brain can muster. I think he hates the Habs even more than your Shannon. None of them know sweet fuck all. For example, they say to wait for a GM to rear his head from a team that has failed to make the playoffs or is elininated early. Like, how the fuck is that going to help Montreal, to bring in a loser?
DeleteGood stuff the M.
Deleteshannon ain't mine but I will point out his disgusting ways.
He was THE cbc/hnic programming honcho when the 'national' broadcaster 'dropped' the Canadiens francophone funding and feed. Funny how the RDS multi-year agreement has made the Habs even stronger as a tv presence (in Quebec).
At the NHL HQ, he shilled to make sure the leaf had the Saturday night schedule they needed to hype their machine. He was booted out after less than two years.
He started leafs tv.
He is worse than mclame.
EVEN IN A BAD YEAR PLEKY HAS ANOTHER 50 POINTS SEASON
ReplyDeleteOy. Just, no. No Risebrough... Especially when Sather is "pushing" for him.
ReplyDeleteAgree.
DeleteYeah, Sather has already "helped" them enough, thank you.
DeleteAlong with goat+Gainey that approved the Gomez for McDonaugh deal. Sather is no genius as his career is purely based on sucking Gretzky.
DeleteGO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
ReplyDeleteThey looked really good there in that PP
ReplyDeletenever left their zone.
GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
KmaXXX will love the SOGs of this game.
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking the same thing.
DeleteGO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
ReplyDeleteMarkov's return has seriously helped the powerplay look more functional.
ReplyDeleteGO Sabres, step on a cockraoch!
ReplyDeleteAin't happening. BUF is fearing the collapse.
DeleteWho the hell is Scrivens? How many goalies does the leaf have.
ReplyDelete1. Next wundergoalie.
Delete2. 4.
Great dive.
ReplyDeleteWeak fucking call on a dive and then the even up call. The refs should be ashamed.
ReplyDeleteThey have no integrity and are never called on their shit.
DeleteFun(ny) action.
ReplyDeleteBudda playing the dangerous game. phew.
ReplyDeleteTake the shot DD. No need to complicate things. Jesus, that was a mess and a half.
ReplyDeleteTrudat. DDD had control and ended up back in his own end.
DeleteTypical of many Habs situational plays this year. Shoot, pass, something.
I don't know. Seeing DD play goalie made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteHe's as big as Budy Call's pad.
DeleteGO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
ReplyDeleteOT
ReplyDeleteGO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!

Toaster is sleeping next to me farting away. So adorable. SO STINKY.
ReplyDeleteHendricks scores in shootouts. Still runs away from Staubitz.
ReplyDeleteI'd never run from Staubitz.
DeleteSeriously. How could anyone run away from such a beautiful face?
Deletefat hunter is happy.
ReplyDeleteHe'll be less happy when he sees there are no shootouts in the playoffs.
DeleteTrue but fat hunter hasn't made them yet.
DeleteShit
ReplyDeleteDAMMIT I WANTED TO SEE PALUSHAJ HAVE A GO.
ReplyDeleteNHL needs to switch to the AHL shootout format.
Sabers will take the leaf tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI mean Tuesday.
DeleteLess brutal game than yesterday's. I guess they visited New York for the sights, and then went back to work in Washington.
ReplyDeleteThat or WAS sucks and the NYR are pretty good, which they are.
DeleteYea. And maybe this year the Rangers will finally beat the Caps in the playoffs...
DeleteHilarious side note, leaf 'win' helps their hated Provincial rival. Stupid fucking leaf.
ReplyDeleteStupid is as stupid does.
DeleteJets officially eliminated.
ReplyDeleteOuch. Would've been fun seeing hnic choke some more.
DeleteYou know...instead of Chris Campoli as a bandaid solution why couldn't the Goat have brought back Paul Mara? At least he has a beard! And he can fight! And he can do stuff on the powerplay without a Bobby Orr Complex...
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletefucking edmonton is tiger tanking, they should not be allowed a top five pick. No way you can tank 3 years in a row.
DeleteI think there's a rule where a team cannot have the #1 pick consecutively. The only reason it happened for them to get RNH is because the Devils fucked around with that Kovalchuk contract.
DeleteThen again the NHL never follows it's own rules.
Ha! Trudeau beat Brazeau in the boxing match. Brazeau now has to wear the Liberal blue jersey and cut his hair.
ReplyDeleteDid we win?
ReplyDeleteWatched the game at Hurley's, better game than I expected.Nice to see the Habs can still show up....PHuckin blow calls as usual......
ReplyDeleteShane Murphy did not show up to play the second floor as advertized, apparently extended his tour in France, what a slacker.
The race in the west is unreal, 3 teams from the same division and the Kings play their rivals for the final spot twice each in their four final games, Praise GOD the Buttman schedule worked in the west.
Habs played a decent game last night, just a little over matched in the talent department. All their tank rivals moved a little farther ahead in the standings, it's all good.
ReplyDeleteIt's just a hunch but I believe the Canadiens' new GM is going to be very active in the off season. It may be more fun to watch than the hockey we've witnessed the past 6 months. I'll start cheering again on April 8th.
Go Rangers.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the Flames are out. Still a loser eh, Cammy?
ReplyDelete
