Great SF, I have the same tshirt as Viggo. What will make the Panthers want to trade Huberdeau more, winning or losing, whichever it is I hope it happens.
Moeman, Your SF never fails to hit the spot! Nice ones all 'round. Still not sure who to cheer for yet...think I'll wait until round two. Except - Go Caps!! Bruins Suck!!
The Moose and the Remparts play game 5 in Halifax tonight. Yes, Maritimer, your Sea Dogs are going to the Memorial Cup tourney and have a very good chance of winning it, but this game tonight will rock. Most popular sign - "We will FRK you up!" (#91 Marty Frk - can I buy a vowel, Vanna?)
This, for me, was the greatest concert I have ever seen - it was in Toronto but it was still the Pulse tour and 60,000 people sang this song together - unbelievable!
I don't remember what year it was but I saw them at an outdoor concert at the Autostade (not the Olympic Stadium), some locals may remeber it, the Alouettes used to play there. I was a beautiful summer night and the atmosphere was phenomenal.
uh oh! Actually I was quite a free spirit with no rules/guidance and I was out there really before my time. Although, I always had a level head, used good judgement and just damn lucky.
Holy crap, Pink Floyd! I was a baby, just **1/2! 1975, music was everything at the time, I wasn't even dating then! I loved the '70s. It seems that times were safer then, or maybe I was just too naive and remember it that way.
HF29, you play guitar.....you can play Pink Floyd! I am in awe. The setlist is just fantastic beyond words, I've bookmarked it. I still remember the summer breeze of that evening under the stars surrounded by the magic of the music....so perfect. Thank you for the tribute, Wish You Were Here is another of my favorites. Did I mention I'm also a Barry White fan?
Yes it is an article based on the same aforementioned Angus Reid poll that shows the Habs as our country's most loved team and the leaf as the most hated and easiest to laugh at.
@29 - I believe that you have a point here...however if the leaf were ever to start mounting any kind of serious challenge on a competitive level they would quickly become more hated than the B's.
Personally, if it comes to playing against and having to accept a loss against the B's or the leaf, I find that I sleep sounder knowing that the Habs lost to the B's. A loss to the leaf always causes me sleeplessness. So does this make them more "hated"? I don't know. I just know I would rather a Habs loss to anyone - and I mean ANYONE - other than the leaf.
As for pity - here I disagree with 29 - there is no pity whatsoever for the leaf. The management, the players, the coaches, and the fans are the most ignorant, self important bunch of know nothing fuckin assholes in the history of professional ice hockey. No pity except for any children they have under the age of 6. Any child over the age of 6 who has even the remotest interest in hockey should be able to understand the joke that is the leaf. They should be able to see the leaf for what it is. They then consciously make a decision to either support or reject the leaf. From that point onward they are fair game.
The irony about the arrogant and humility-less leaf is they are partly hated because of their arrogant mediot mob who double as leaf fan and shove their fucking bias down our throats. A half a century of sucking cannot be coincidence. These leaf losers deserve it and then some. May it continue for another century and may the leaf just fuck off and die.
Florida finds out pascal colours can hide flaws. So for fucks sake mr new boy, make a historical choice. Pay the price for Huberdeau. Could this be a big fuck up, absolutley. If you look at the history of NHL teams, aside from picking number one, its a huge fuck up.
L'Antichambre had some sort of awards the other night, and Darche was on, they were all wearing tuxes. Tonight he's on RDS again. Think he's testing the waters for an anchor job if he isn't re-signed?
The Kings score and CBC thinks the Canucks D Tanev made the save. They went on for like a minute about the "save" before they realized he missed the save.
Filter at work stills let's me read but I can no longer post.... :(
WTF 'nucks! At least they wont wait 'till the cup final to suck balls. And JESUS H. CHrist, you can't kill those PHucktards, how come they left M A Fleury in for 7 goals?
Also since we are bashing (and rightfully so) BJ Cock, anyone see the ad he's doing? Wearing adult diapers?! There's some irony in there that one wittier than I will point out, but you guys have probably already ripped on that subject.
Just watched all the highlight of the games played last night...'Nucks got some serious D issues - not Lou so much as the actual D itself. Some ugly giveaways! Hating the Preds mustard jerseys. And I think the Pens are cooked. Which is surprising.
Grand National day in the UK today. Gotta pick me a winner...I'm thinking Calgary Bay (40-1) and According to Pete (25-1) Let's see what happens!
If the Canuckles go down in four, is AV on the short list to be the Habs recycled coaCH? If he can't win with that team do we want him? Great regular season record, but....
Heh, lots of folks picking the waddlers to win it all. Philthy's are kicking their asses.
Wow, R.I.P Butch Bouchard, age 92. As my youngest son said when a family friend passed away last year at 97 : "He had a good run."
@soperman, congrats, I see your Mooseheads beat Saint Patrick's Remparts last night to stay alive. I also see Nathan McKinnon has 10 goals so far. Any chance the Habs can get a crack at him in 2013?
Great SF, I have the same tshirt as Viggo. What will make the Panthers want to trade Huberdeau more, winning or losing, whichever it is I hope it happens.
ReplyDeleteAnother work of art and something for everyone. PleXXE showing a soft side.

DeleteMoeman, Your SF never fails to hit the spot! Nice ones all 'round. Still not sure who to cheer for yet...think I'll wait until round two. Except - Go Caps!! Bruins Suck!!

Deletejuce I swear I thought you were way to young to remember that. wow.

DeleteActually I was quite a free spirit with no rules/guidance and I was out there really before my time. Although, I always had a level head, used good judgement and just damn lucky.
So not as old as you think.
Deletejuce i don't care really about your age or your past, I am just so impressed you saw Floyd at the Autostade. and JEALOUS beyond words
DeleteA little Googling found that show, which was June 1975. and even better, here's the setlist. OMFG I am even more jealous now. LOOK AT THAT LIST. WOW
I have now picked up my guitar and am playing Wish You Were Here in your honour
Holy crap, Pink Floyd! I was a baby, just **1/2! 1975, music was everything at the time, I wasn't even dating then! I loved the '70s. It seems that times were safer then, or maybe I was just too naive and remember it that way.

I am going to shove my nose deep into her?
Behave?
Ok who made this guy leader. You can email him here.'thomas.mulcair@parl.gc.ca'
ReplyDeleteOH FFS. Sure, we have potent weed, but mental illness? Do Steve and I look ill???

DeleteMediots report on how mediots have slagged the Canucks.
ReplyDeleteYes it is an article based on the same aforementioned Angus Reid poll that shows the Habs as our country's most loved team and the leaf as the most hated and easiest to laugh at.
Deletefinally a poll you can trust
Deletethe leaf is the most hated team on this blog without a doubt.
DeleteYes I have a doubt. I say the Bs are more hated on 4HF. The Leaf are just pitied
Delete@29 - I believe that you have a point here...however if the leaf were ever to start mounting any kind of serious challenge on a competitive level they would quickly become more hated than the B's.

Yeah even I agree "pity" was the wrong word. Fuck da leaf. How about "schadenfreude"

DeleteGet better HMSC.
ReplyDeleteDitto. Love The Gill. Still want to see the Preds lose.
DeleteI just sill pine for our gentle giant.
Deletethat second round pick may make you forget him. Its to bad we could not have a team and a coach to make his stay profitable.
DeleteI am all in Preds, family ties, TiTs and all
DeleteCBC has the TiTs brothers against motor city at half past seven.
ReplyDeleteI'll be watching the flightless vs the flighted.
DeleteI just watch what Harper allows me.
DeleteNext year it will be all Nordiques against Edmonton, We call it the chum deal stadium package,

ReplyDeleteWhen millionares and billionares make a clusterfuck, fans get angry, and pay for everything.
ReplyDeleteShit, they've got Tim Peel!!
ReplyDeleteFlightless waterfowl with an early lead. Like that will last
ReplyDeleteThat means Flyers lose 'cause of Gregory's public message. Timmy the Peeler will favor Penguins.
ReplyDeleteCrosby already scored.
PJ stock, who did he fuck to get his job?
ReplyDeleteughhh, I need to erase that image.

ReplyDeleteBaboom!!

This Pens-PHucktards thing is entertaining hockey
ReplyDeleteyup, flyers just got 2nd shorty.
ReplyDeleteAnd Bryz shoots his stick after pens score.
ReplyDeleteSo far, even Timmy the peeler hasn't spoiled the game.
ReplyDeleteChris Lee doing Kings/Canucks game later. Beware.
DeletePens vs Flyers seems to be the only game that keeps me awake. Even the Hawks game put me to sleep! (Though I blame the Coyotes for that).
ReplyDeleteSean Couturier could eat/drink with his mouth closed. No teeth!
ReplyDeleteBetter not blink in this game, someone will score and you miss it.
ReplyDeleteSCORE ALL THE GOALS!
ReplyDeleteGames like this reiterates the fact that Fleury seriously is lucky to be sitting happy behind the human highlight reel and the League's darling.
ReplyDeleteNo salute?
ReplyDeleteShawinigan handshake!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea minus Cherry.
