I do not think Nathan Bond will be number 7 defence man this year. Maybe a late season call up. http://www.torontosun.com/2012/05/15/sea-dogs-defenceman-in-dream-memorial-cup
I hope Nathan Bond, Tin Man and Morgan Horse all play a FULL season in Hamilton. They are all or will be 20 year olds next season, no need to rush them into the Show. Let all the Swiss Misses get beat up by the thugs in the Northeast and Atlantic divisions.
ISS has their latest rankings out: 1. Yak 2. Foppa II 3. Murray 4. Gmoe 14.Gchuk
I'd like to see Timmins list.
The Greeks and all of Europe sure are putting the wood to my pension plan. Mr. Flaherty will have me working in a chocolate factory in St. Stephen before I know it.
Maritimer, you followed the rules, and now, the rules change. Hope you know how to fish or fix a small appliance engine. The fact is the Greeks have been taken Greek Style to the cleaners, when your feeding the coals you dont worry about the charge on your credit card. It has all come home to roost. It is all imaginary. You dont need understand the differance between a CDS, and a ounce of gold to see something is seriously fucked up, and we are all Japanese. Seriously if your on a fixed income, buy solar cells, wind turbines and plant corn in your front lawn. More tips .here.
Steve, I did fish for a living when I was a young man. You could go down to the wharf and catch supper any day of the week. Now, the Man would seize your rod, your catch and your first born. I can't fix small gas engines, not mechanically inclined at all. You are right though, the pension I was told I was getting...sorry, we lied. Ganong Bros. chocolate factory in St. Stephen an hour's drive from here hires workers from Romania every year. Harper and Flaherty are looking for skilled Canadian born workers on EI to fill that gap. God help me if I end up there I will gain 50 lbs. $10.00 an hour and all you can eat.
Just read THN draft preview, Gmoe is the pick unless MB offers the Swiss Misses + the 3rd pick for No. 1 and take the Yak.
UI was already re-vamped years ago to screw over people who lost jobs. At that time UI had a surplus in the billions. The future unemployed would now apply for EI. I/O weeks worked, you now had to have hours worked. They say it was to help people who worked part time and did not have constant hours in a given week. Oh, and now don't quit your job, you probably won't qualify. So, if you end up finding a job you better hope your employment/employer is what you expected 'cause you can't quit. If you do you'd need to prove the reasons why you did.
This leaves people who are dependent on their job open to exploitation. Single/separated/divorced mothers are one example, they need to work, can't quit if the job turned out to be a nightmare especially if a deadbeat dad doesn't give a dime. If they can prove just cause for quitting, the red tape just ends up delaying payment.
Now, who will decide what type of job one should take? An EI rep? What if that person has a bad day and you're their next appointment. How do they regulate this? I'm not sure about teachers, but what do they do in the summer? I think EI is different in their cases now but will a teacher now have to deliver publisacs? flip burgers? What about older workers who have trouble getting hired? What will they make them do?
I don't agree with Flaherty that the only bad job is no job. I hate this government they are just a bunch of dictators whose futures are financially secure and the hell with Canadians who are the have-nots.
They sure as hell didn't like being called out publicly by the UN on poverty in Canada and that they need to do about. They said the UN was wasting time and money by looking at Canada and they should concentrate on areas/countries with worse conditions.
Saw something in the metro "newspaper" this morning about Larry Robinson saying he isn't interested in coming back to Montreal, then his agent/friend is quoted as saying he is.......
As long as Savard is involved Robinson won't be back. Something must have happened between them or it's just two alpha males doing their thing. Because when Savard wasn't there The Bird was interested ... now he appears not to be. Coincidence, I think not. As in every high school, sport teams have their cliques, Savard being a Quebecois and Robinson being from the Ottawa Valley. I doubt they hang together. Sad.
Nope. I want the cbc/hnic sick fucks shutdown for their leaf bias and Habs (plus all non-CotU teams) hate. I've got RDS, minus the anti-CHamber. leaf fan can suck tsn, sportsnut and et al's dick for their fix.
I usually watch RDS anyhow, especially for reasons mentioned by moeman. Habs haters, pro leaf, pro broon and because of phucking cherry. mclame and pjstuck. Though it would be sad to see part of TV history die.
heh, Blob Mackenzie says he'd be pissed if the Habs didn't at least talk to Patrick Roy and/but be even more pissed if they hired him. Eat another box of donuts Blob.
Well, don't have to watch the World Championships anymore. Looks like the Memorial Cup will soon be the only game in town for me. When that's over, it's golf and nascar. It's a loooonnnnnggggg off season.
Like how you got Shanahan holding a rifle.
ReplyDeleteGoing to have a donught with my coffee.
Brown's penalty for diving after getting hit in the back of the knees by the goalie was so bogus.

If that is the case, then so much of putting the team ahead of yourself. Not the winning attitude Geoff wants.
