Steve, look how his eyebrow is raised, that is so Spock it's uncanny, I swear, just give him the ears and a Starship uni. Other pics I've seen not so much.
NBC analyst Pierre McGuire was the runner-up for the job. He was on Ottawa radio this morning and said he was informed by Montreal owner Geoff Molson at 7:15 a.m. that he did not get the job.
Our Spock seems in touch with his femme side. Male by DNA who gell and such are wearing jewelry in a place it is not allowed. Rebel Rebel or redneck, both sides of the coin are in play.
What would you think if you had lived a life of privelge and pampering. In a world were the planet was your oyster, would you want more environmental sacrifice to feed your heighted sesnse of importance. I am a history major, and about 5 people a hundred years will be remembered. In the days of the internet, nobody. So just give up you fucks of glory and do the right thing.
This morning, by text message, Gomez told Hockey Inside/Out that he knew nothing of a buyout: “As I’ve said before, that’s a management decision,” Gomez texted. “I only worry about what I can control and I’m already in the gym getting ready for next season. That’s my only focus. I’ll let the media focus on rumours and debate what (the Canadiens) should or shouldn’t do.”
He looks like he's from The Point. You shouldn't fuck with anybody who knows where Ville Emard starts and The Point ends. Us NDGers stayed away from that part of town.
All in good fun, Chester. We used to feel that way about the Point and NDG. Sometimes I think our parents used to say things just to keep us close to home, so growing up you have a certain perception and sometimes places just get bad reps, especially when mainly blue collar. My son currently lives in NDG.
Haven't watched the antiCHamber for almost two years. May have tonight with Bergevin in the hot seat. Something deep inside me wants to see him punch pjstuck in the face.
I just watched the full press conference and I'm impressed! I see this as the beginning of a new era of communication and winning. He certainly was saying all the right things. Let's give "Bergy" a chance.
Owner of Dilalo in Ville Emard used to coach him and says he hopes he'll come in for a chat. The walls is that place are just covered with sports pics/objects especially hockey.
I was leaning towards Julien Brisebois, if mainly for his cap skills and an ex-Canadiens employee. Bergevin's total hockey experience package makes him the right CHoice. I like the fact he wants to keep Timmins, build the scouting organization and the fact he mentioned that Geoff Molson has given him the right(s) to do what is best for the franchise. Today is a good day.
OK, that phase is over, up next will be the selection of a coach. After that, who they are picking 3rd overall. Before we know it, it will be October again. I think the Habs are in good hands but time will tell. Now, lose fucking useless Gomereaha and I'll be a fan for life.
Someone told me Scotty Bowman's way to catch players breaking curfew. There'd be a kid in the lobby, Bowman would pay him and then as players came in late he ask them to sign his hockey stick. Bowman would then buy the stick from the kid. Catcha!
Because I grew up with his Dad, I have an interest in Cody Hodgson, and I thought he got a raw deal from Vancouver, and thats a key part of why I do not want AV anywhere close to our youngings.
That 4th goal by the Devils reminded me of Fred Flinstone at the bowling alley getting strikes with the help of Kazoo.
ReplyDeletePic 3 has my vote.
ReplyDeletePasties at Chez Paris?
I always love Hitchcock.
*loved*
DeleteWow!!!
ReplyDeleteThat song brings back ,maybe not vivid but somehow awesome, memories!

DeleteApparently, Tits & Radu were seen at a bar at 4am and were to play a game at 5pm the same day.
ReplyDeleteTits was only trying to show Radu a little Montreal night life.
DeleteAt least Andrei scored a goal! (An awesome one too).

ReplyDeletehttp://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=394829
The original scoop;
Deletehttp://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/hockey/blackhawks/chi-canadiens-to-name-bergevin-new-gm-20120501,0,2786635.story
If so, bienvenue Marc Bergevin aka, 'venividivici'. Too soon for a 4HF nickname?
ReplyDeleteThat photo of him in the Chicago Tribune looks a little like Spock...just needs the ears.
DeleteMaybe Spock or The Vulcan, The Vulcanator?
I like Spock
DeleteSteve, look how his eyebrow is raised, that is so Spock it's uncanny, I swear, just give him the ears and a Starship uni.
DeleteOther pics I've seen not so much.
I want to be positive, and Spock for me is just about as positive as possible for a nickname
DeleteHe comes from Point Saint Charles, another possibility, Saint Charles.
DeleteOr just The Saint.
DeleteNah, they say you should always go with your first choice.
DeleteLive long and prosper, CH.
Re: Marc Bergevin. Thank God. You do listen to prayers.
ReplyDeletenow the big question, will St Pat be behind the bench. It would take a real leader to take that risk.
DeleteIf they bring in AV, I will slit my wrists on video, my actual wrists will be preserved for more important causes.
DeleteYay! It's not McSplooge!
ReplyDeleteBonus, the news of the Habs GM wasn't 'scooped' by the smug smirking darren dredger.
DeleteWow, I'm too late, thought I was gonna scoop.
ReplyDeleteDon't you people sleep?
ReplyDeleteWe take shifts.
DeleteI'm still wrapping my head around the fact that Mcsplooge was apparently the runner-up. We were THIS CLOSE to Armageddon
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm happy. Bergevin was always my first choice
Mr Molson got a White Tulip. I watched it again, and nowdays it passes as a major motion picture.
DeleteOh god that was one of the greatest hours of TV ever
DeleteTHAT CLOSE.
DeleteNBC analyst Pierre McGuire was the runner-up for the job. He was on Ottawa radio this morning and said he was informed by Montreal owner Geoff Molson at 7:15 a.m. that he did not get the job.
To me that is bullshit, why say it, he did not want to offend Comcast?
DeleteAs far as the month goes, I already give many many times daily
ReplyDeleteIt's official.
ReplyDeletehttp://canadiens.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=630393&navid=DL|MTL|home
I see that the pfuck POS has already begun slagging Bergevin. What a fucking douchebag that By wyshynski is.
ReplyDeleteOne hurdle down. Now, just a head coach and off to the parade.
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go!
Oh yeah, draft picks too.
Deletewe gotta pay?
DeleteWhy should the players take hockey any more seriously than the management, the fish rots at the head,
ReplyDeleteOur Spock seems in touch with his femme side. Male by DNA who gell and such are wearing jewelry in a place it is not allowed. Rebel Rebel or redneck, both sides of the coin are in play.
ReplyDeleteI give you Celine as the only example I know of a Gell NHL.
DeleteGiven its NMM how far can he shot, how hard, and what caliber. Sure packing a 22 you look impressive, but for a fify cal guy like me, not so much
ReplyDeleteThis just in, the UN wants to quarantine me. Because for the femmes I have a weapon of mass destruction.
DeleteSteve, bet you won a lot of circle jerks.
DeleteWhat would you think if you had lived a life of privelge and pampering. In a world were the planet was your oyster, would you want more environmental sacrifice to feed your heighted sesnse of importance. ReplyDeleteWill they say bye to Gomer?

Buyout is bad. It would be dead cap space the team needs. Hamilton or Europe, Gomer!
DeleteHe's my homey.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.cbc.ca/sports/story/2000/12/29/bergevin001229.html
He looks like he's from The Point.
ReplyDeleteYou shouldn't fuck with anybody who knows where Ville Emard starts and The Point ends. Us NDGers stayed away from that part of town.
You heard Chester, better not fuck with me.
DeleteAll in good fun, Chester.
DeleteWe used to feel that way about the Point and NDG. Sometimes I think our parents used to say things just to keep us close to home, so growing up you have a certain perception and sometimes places just get bad reps, especially when mainly blue collar.
My son currently lives in NDG.
R.I.P. Junior Seau.
ReplyDeleteR.I.P., condolences to the family.
DeleteMan I was busy all day and came home to that news. RIP indeed. He was a great one.
DeletePossible suicide. Oy.
Haven't watched the antiCHamber for almost two years. May have tonight with Bergevin in the hot seat. Something deep inside me wants to see him punch pjstuck in the face.
ReplyDeleteOooh I'd love to see that. The A/C bunch already love this guy, they interviewed him a while ago.
DeleteI just watched the full press conference and I'm impressed! I see this as the beginning of a new era of communication and winning. He certainly was saying all the right things. Let's give "Bergy" a chance.
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go!!

*in* that
ReplyDeleteGo Abbotsford Heat!
ReplyDeleteThis is funny, well, not for Bergevin.

ReplyDeleteThe fact that he is a BeeGee's fan is a minus. Disco sucked and still sucks.
DeleteBut BeeGM might be another fun nickname offering.
DeleteHe's a BeeGees fan? Now I like him even more.
DeleteA whole group of us used to go disco dancing ever weekend.
Great fun.
*every*
DeleteDarn, can't type lately.

ReplyDeleteSomeone told me Scotty Bowman's way to catch players breaking curfew.
ReplyDeleteThere'd be a kid in the lobby, Bowman would pay him and then as players came in late he ask them to sign his hockey stick. Bowman would then buy the stick from the kid.
Catcha!
Double OT.
ReplyDeleteTriple OT
ReplyDeleteBergevin is an emotional guy.
ReplyDeleteTriple OT never ends well.
ReplyDeleteWho is the chick in the tub...looks hauntingly familiar??
ReplyDeleteMLP
DeleteI think Moeman should be picking. IMHO of this assortment, number 8,9,10 beat 1 to 7.
ReplyDeleteI hope we have a better chance now of getting Big TiTs back, drunk and stoned he has been a monster in the playoffs.

ReplyDeleteTorres will appeal.
ReplyDeletehttp://sports.nationalpost.com/2012/05/03/raffi-torres-will-appeal-25-game-suspension-for-hit-on-marian-hossa/
Marian Hossa should fly in to that appeal, elbows first, right into Torres' skull. And then do the same to the NHLPA guy.
