Great WW, moeman.
ReplyDeleteMaybe this group is fed up of Bettman?
ReplyDeleteLOS ANGELES -- Anschutz Entertainment Group, the owner of the Staples Center arena and the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, and the top contender to build a stadium and bring the NFL back to Los Angeles, is up for sale, its parent company said Tuesday.
http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=405609
That means there are 14 franchises for sale or on the edge of bankrupt
DeleteDiazzling, pretty in any language.
ReplyDeleteSo the Blowhard stands up and dumps on Francois.
ReplyDeleteSo true to The Organization.
What a disaster. Francois is right, they don't need a goaltending coach, they have Bee Burkie and his gang of know it alls.
There is just no hope for them. What a joke.

ReplyDeleteI have it dvr'd. That and Arrow are the only 2 new tv I'll give a shot.
DeleteRevolution on plot holes and cardboard acting. Also, wow the veggies are on steroids or what? Even Pripyat looks in better condition than their Chicago for the timeframe...
DeleteWilling suspension of disbelief. Yes Revolution has plot holes, huge ones. But compared to reality TV or laugh track comedy its Gold Jerry pure Gold.
DeleteSo, National Hypocrite League has reduced staff to a 4day work week and 20% pay cut, further cuts and layoffs not ruled out.
ReplyDeleteHow do you like your boss now staffers?
Hey Gary!
ReplyDeleteBite me, you little fuckstick!
If the Stanley Cup is awarded to a non-NHL team, would that demean the trophy? BS, coming from a former NHL VP.

I wanted to say something outrageous, or controversial, or stupid, but I got nothing, I have to go with the meme of the day >I sad.

DeleteGo watch the video on TSN with The Flower - titled No Sympathy.
ReplyDeleteSorry Flower, it's not the 70s anymore. Owners fucked the players big time in those days, and whined about it all the way to the last CBA/lockout to fuck them again and got what they wanted...and are now bitching about it again.
DeleteHEY LOOK SUPERPLEKY DOES EVERYTHING FOR HIS CZECH TEAM TOO. And their goalies stink. And Jagr was rather invisible.
ReplyDeleteHave to say, sucks for Cervenka. Spends all this time killing it in KHL, finally gets a deal and goes to the NHL and boom he's locked out and back overseas.
Pleky! I love hearing his full name pronounced by a Czech announcer
Delete...I miss hockey. *tears*
DeleteJagr does not become visible for less than two million a year.

ReplyDeleteBoth sides have a hearing with the Alberta Labour Board.
ReplyDeleteThis whole lockout is bullshit! Fuckface Buttman needs to admit his dick is only half as big as Fehr's and get on with it. If my math is even roughly accurate and the numbers I read in someone's link yesterday are right, then Geoff Molson is preparing himself to lose in the region of $75 million in revenue from ticket sales alone. Tell me he'll tow the party line for an entire season - I dare you! And can someone clarify something for me here...during the lockout the players don't get paid - but what happens once the lockout ends - because at some point it will end - do they get back pay?
ReplyDeleteI'm in stiches.
DeleteAnd that doesn't include the lost revenue of $11 or $12 per beer at games and decrease in sales to empty bars and restaurants in the area.
DeleteThis is why the consensus is NOT to buy tickets to games once the lockout ends. Fans need to tell Buttman to fuck off, we won't take it anymore.
Deleteas usual the successful teams will take it in the ear, and Buttmans southern strategy wins.
