ReplyDeleteWho would have thought.
Prust had better put the tin foil on the knuckles I gotta feeling Lucy is up for this one. White is in who is out?
white out predicted for Boston
DeleteDIE BRUINS DIE
ReplyDeletethat is all
Gallagher is going to pound the shaved ape into the ice. The ice-maker will be challenged to get the huge chara-shaped face imprint out of the ice in the Boston end..... (yes, I know that the shaved ape is exactly one foot taller and nearly a hundred pounds heavier than Gallagher....
ReplyDeleteAwww, did I hear that Marchand was out...............................
Fuck off Bruins! Urine for a beatdown tonight!
ReplyDeleteGYMFHG!!!
very apra poe
DeleteMan I love this kid.
ReplyDelete“When I learned that I made the team, I was looking forward to playing the Bruins,” said the 5-foot-9 sparkplug, who is one of the reasons why the Canadiens offer a bigger challenge to opponents.
Gallagher has been relentless on the forecheck and says he’s looking forward to facing 6-foot-9 Bruins defenceman Zdeno Chara.
“It’s gonna be cool,” Gallagher said. “He’s one of the best D-men in the league. I’ve played against big boys, but never quite that big. I enjoy playing against bigger guys and I’m going to play my game. I won’t be fighting him, but other than that I’m going to be going after him. I’m going to treat him like any other D-man. I’m going to finish my check regardless of how big he is.”
you ever get punched in the knee it realy hurts.
DeleteI'm really looking forward to this one!
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go!!!
Wow, the outdoor rink that was opened yesterday was part of a Habs program to bring these type of rinks to "less advantaged" areas of Montreal. Man it's right beside Marymount FFS. It used to be a nice part of NDG ... well cept for Walkley. What has happened to the old hood? Has western NDG fallen apart?
ReplyDeleteWTF.
Ahhh Walkley. Bought many a dime bag of weed there back in the day.
DeleteI haven't been back much lately, but it has gotten somewhat worse. Wouldn't describe it as downtrodden or anything though.
Maybe I'm just being too sensitive about the old stompin grounds. We were always afriad of The Walkley Gang. Don't know if one ever existed.
DeleteThey say 'less advantaged" All neighborhoods have "less advantaged", just some more than others,
DeleteBut I think the neighborhoods that get the rinks don't like that term being used. I didn't - don't think it's necessary to label an area that way. But good for anywhere that gets one. Kudo's to the Habs charity foundation for the gifts.
Well regardless, it's a great program The Habs have and a rink like that will do the area well. There used to be one like that at Benny right across from what used to be Monklands High.... am I (out) dating myself?
DeleteBenny, Monkland High, Walkely - Chester we must have grown up within walking distance of each other. Admittedly I was a Montreal West boy, though, not NDG. Grew up there in the 70's and 80's
DeleteBorn on Trenholm did my Kindergarten at Elizabeth Ballintyne.
DeleteIt is a great program. I don't know if any other NHL team has done it.
DeleteHere's video of the rink.
Deletehttp://video.canadiens.nhl.com/videocenter/console?catid=66&id=199089&lang=en&navid=DL|MTL|home
Chester do not believe 29, the tell, he says he grew up
DeleteCredit where it's due. Some of those bear commercials are pretty fucking funny.
ReplyDeleteAfter watching that again, I noticed a link to another vid called "Poke the Bear Part 1". John Stewart on the goonery of the Bruins. Watch it if you haven't already. I have to finish it later. I'd forward it to my Bruin fan friends but they'd take it as a complement because they're all dumb as posts. That includes my boss.
Agreed, which is why I posted the 'Date' vid. Bonus, the Habs gal is a cutie.
DeleteYeah, love the Jon Stewart one, I watched it several times since it game out, just last week in fact - priceless.
DeleteThere's a couple good one's there, check the seat upgrade - gotta warn my son about that one, he's going there for a game.
wonder if that Boston guy Cornelius Hardenbergh has dry underwear?
ReplyDeleteI invited this esteemed guest to come and comment.
DeleteMonopoly will replace the iron token with a cat. meow.
ReplyDeleteThat kitty is gorgeous! Abyssinian me thinks. I want one. The Bruins can fuck off and die, after we beat them of course.
ReplyDeleteMy cousins have an Abyssinian. He really is a beautiful, regal cat. Something straight out of ancient Egypt. But he has a real attitude problem. Total diva.
DeleteMy eldest Siamese is like that, total drama king. But I love him to bits.

ReplyDeleteThe Molson Cup winner for the month is...........gCHuck
ReplyDeleteBoy, he's really getting put on a pedestal, I think Gallagher is good too.
He is a new and shiny thing. Honestly, ok what I will say in public is he exhibits a lot of good things, and he puts up points better than any rookie in our history. Other than that he must be making PFK rationalize many things.
Deletecris fucking lee and tim fucking peel tonight?

2 minute lapse did em' in. Learn from it.
ReplyDeleteDefensive brain fart at the beginning of the 3rd did them in.
ReplyDeletePFK gets 3rd star.
ReplyDeleteOther 2 not worth mentioning - broons.
DeleteOrangeman back here after a long absence because I just have to say:
ReplyDeleteNow the media will talk about how Boston dominated the Habs again for the next 2 weeks. Ignoring that it was 2 quick lucky goals in an otherwise dominating Habs experience. Damn Rask! Even ESPN: "You get the feeling that the bruins know how to shut it down in a tight game on the road!" as the Habs are pressuring with 6 minutes left. The bruins are like that douche jock in high school that gets all the girls and the teachers love him, but you really can't figure out why.
FUCK THE bRUINS.
ps it won't let me sign in for some reason.
orangeman wooo!
DeleteYour return is enough to make up for the loss
It shudda been 4 - 0 after the first period. We just couldn't get one past Took Your Rasp. Prick.
