ReplyDeleteThe Halifax Mooseheads are looking to go 12 - 0 in the playoffs tonight as they advance to the President's Cup final (and then hopefully on to the Memorial Cup). Let's hope the Habs have a similar run!

ReplyDeleteheh, last week the CotU mediots were quote him saying hockey should be played "the maple leaf way", tonight O'Burned is in the press box. At least Dou$harek kept the seat warm for him.
ReplyDeleteHeh, heh, yeah, what the fuck happened to the second coming of Crosby, Nasal Kadri? Made in T.O. superstars, he'd be a third stringer in Columbus.
DeleteHe got the kiss of death. Hopefully a Hab, any Hab, punCHes that little prick's pretentious puss on Saturday.
DeleteHe may be an opponent, maybe even in a playoff series, but glad to see the Sens' Erik Karlsson make it back. He's like a white Subban with nice hair.
ReplyDeleteMatt Cooke should be banned, I also glad to see him back
DeleteCooke's little stomp on the back of his leg was deliberate. Dirty fucker.
DeleteExtra hour of pre-game dinner/drinking time FHFers or we could CHew the fat. Go Panthers!
ReplyDelete...and Lightning. One more time Marty!
DeleteNice catCH!
DeleteShould the Habs get home-ice for Round One (and I know the CH is too classy to do it) and face the mediots' 'dreaded' leaf, the ceremonial puck-drop should be given to Kerry Fraser. A fun way to fuck with the fuckhead's heads who still, to this day, see their leaf beating the Habs in 1993.
ReplyDeleteMight as well bring Gretzky as well, stick the knife in a little deeper and give it a twist. Hee Hee.
Delete1993? Keep living in your little fantasy world leafers.
Me likey!
DeleteJust caught a bit of the Bolt/leaf game last night before my brand new Bell Fibe installation went pffffft. Fuck me. Phoned Bell and told them if this happens during the playoffs they can defuckinginstall it.
ReplyDeleteBut I digress, the part I saw were the TSN talking heads simply giddy with excitement with the leaf's "jump" and energy during the first. When I heard the final score this morning it made my day.
Anyhoo, GYFHG!! Get the fucking point!!
Had it on in the background. Took tsn until a 3-2 score before they got the blue yips. They wouldn't STFU about TFS™ vs. reimer ('Reims'). (Also, darren pang still sounds like a deep seeded racist who is deeply rooted in his racism, you'd think he'dve learned by now.)
DeleteRoast beast sammich with Prosecco. Weird, but I feel like bubbly tonight.
ReplyDeleteAny mustard?
DeleteI have a confession to make. Bless me moeman for I have sinned....I bought it. It has chipotle mayo and carmelized onions & the beast is nice and rare. Okay, I'm off to do ten Hail Mary's for penance, should be done just in time for puck drop.

ReplyDeleteI think this series has a worse chance of survival than we do in the playoffs
DeleteGO HABS GO!
ReplyDeleteWon't be able to comment due to your filthy blog here being banned at my work, but with the later start I should be able to catch the 3rd. I feel good about this one. It's also another sunny Friday morning here, no nukes dropping yet either. Good times all around!
GO HABS GO!
WTF!? Bazooka Joe is loved world wide. Bazooka Kim Jung, well ...
DeleteBe safe O-man and teaCH them kids well ...
Brits lynxed?
ReplyDeletehttp://bit.ly/17kgjKG
Too late for my blood tonight - catch you all for a very happy SF!
ReplyDeleteJust fuckin' win!
Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!
Keep those fingers warm KmaXXX.
DeleteMax Pachorelli. Alrighty then TSNM.
ReplyDeleteTFS™ is in.
ReplyDeleteHang on boys.
ReplyDeleteGYFHG DAMMIT!!!
ReplyDeleteok im here, begrudgingly. WIN A FUCKING GAME FFS
ReplyDeleteA homer Winnipeg dude calling the game tonight. He just said Montreal was leading Florida 1-0.
ReplyDeleteSome nice TFSaves. Too many, leaky D.
ReplyDeletecrap
ReplyDeleteAck.
ReplyDeleteTFS under siege, not his fault
ReplyDeleteAre they mocking our goalie?
ReplyDeleteYup. Buncha mosquitoes.
DeleteNOTHING is working. It's like they're BROKEN.
ReplyDeleteNothing is clicking.
DeleteScore a fucking goal FFS.
ReplyDeleteSo Emmelin is TFS now?
ReplyDeleteWTF was that?
ReplyDelete1-0 Sens
ReplyDelete3-0 leaf
2-2 NYR
DeleteIf this keeps going they'll be swept in four no matter who they face in the first round.
ReplyDeleteCome on now Kate, be an angel.
Delete*shudders*
DeleteI get mad because I love them so much. *sob*
DeleteThis game needs moar dragons.
ReplyDeleteFucktard leaf. Even our boys could beat Florida right now.
ReplyDeleteA goal would be nice as the Habs seem more desperate than the Jets.
ReplyDelete. A few months ago, I started rewatching The Sopranos in its entirety. Only one episode left. Made in America. Not gonna lie, right now, I'd rather watch that.
ReplyDeleteSee ya later, peeps.
Sens get a too fast timfuckingpeel whistle and no goal. Pace of that game is crazy, good.
ReplyDeleteCrazy goal by OV, tsn may hate the Sens more than the Habs.
DeleteWooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteRBQ!
ReplyDeleteHang on boys!
ReplyDeletePoor cats were in the middle of their eveing snack. They'll come back eventually.
ReplyDeleteTFS™!
DeleteGreat save Pricey! Woooooooooo!
ReplyDeleteNYR ties it on a fluke.
ReplyDeleteEesh
ReplyDeleteWhat a crap goal.
ReplyDeleteNo fast whistle in the peg.
DeleteNo kidding, pile of bodies and puck squirts out into the net.
DeleteJet fans love their hockey, seems like a fun building.
ReplyDeleteI was expecting a much more intense game, on both sides.
ReplyDeleteMaybe but the Jets aren't great to begin with and the boys are trying to get their game back. Not exactly must see.
DeleteI'd argue TFS™ is the only intense thing about the game.
Delete+1. Not the angry TFS stares of the past but he hasn't looked pleased with things around him after the goals. Bringing a strong game but notice the the difference between the last two goals. On the RBQ tally, half of the Jets were playing goalie. On the Wheeler "goal", the Habs defense was sitting on Price. I am happy to see him in good form again though.
DeleteSo on a team with two Swiss players and Cheese, why does Markov have the most holes? Love the guy, love what he has done but thinking that Tinordi should have been in to give Vodkov the rest as opposed to replacing Weber. What a momentum extreme.
ReplyDeleteKinda agree. Maybe they asked Vodkov and he chose to play?
DeleteGood point. I know he wants to mentally play all he can to feel back in the game after missing so much but coach's call here. MTL needs him but needs him at as close to 100% as he can. We know he is gonna catch all kinda hellish elbows and knees in the Leaf bog.
DeleteSounds reasonable but I think the core D needs to get their ducks in a row before the playoffs.
DeleteYup. Even Gio needed the rest. Why call up 8 Dogs and not play them? A win would be great, the assured extra point(s) nice but coaching is weirdly out of synch.
DeleteSens on PP in OT.
ReplyDeleteSens win!
ReplyDeleteKarlsson with 2 points on both goals.
DeleteMaybe he got some of Patches' Wolverine DNA somehow. Nice to have him back in the game.
DeleteExactly what I thought. Don't forget it was Cooke that knocked Marky out in the 2010 playoffs.
DeleteTo up the comic nerd factor, looks like Karlsson took Patches' Spidey-sense as he has been throwing some odd passes around tonight. Like his hustle and like it better when he is not tethered to DD.
DeleteQuite night in the joint. Cheers to Moey and Moeman for keeping it kicking.
ReplyDeleteCan't blame the FHFers. They love their ice cream but it hasn't been sweet for a few games.
DeleteIf I/we haven't yet, welcome HH.
DeleteTrue enough Moe. Thanks for the welcome. Posted on the previous FHF and always make this version a must-read thanks to your own hard work.
DeleteAll good. I do it for the FHFun, FHFriends and of course the angelic, Chips and apple pie eating FHFemmes.
DeleteKid-G!!!
ReplyDeleteWOOT!!!!
DeleteDo you all think Tinordi is just being careful not to make mistakes/take penalties and thus not destroying Kane a couple of times tonight? He is looking pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI think he smarter than he looks because those overly tall guys sometimes look Frakensteinish. Smart player for his age.
DeleteA little skittish to be sure, he's auditioning for his playoff chance. He could be a good 'un.
DeleteWill be.
DeleteDreams of Tinordi and Beaulieu....
DeleteOkay boys, wrap it up!
ReplyDelete5on3, pure cash?
ReplyDeleteYeah!
ReplyDeleteDDD! (big work by PFK).
ReplyDeleteThis has to be the nail. Please....
ReplyDeleteLotsa time. Cash in another goal.
DeleteI have a nice big slice of strawberry+rhubarb pie waiting for me ...
ReplyDeleteI get the sweet and sour thing but I've never warmed to rhubarb, not since I was a kid.
DeleteSo you bit into a rhubarb stalk?
DeleteStop it.
DeleteOK.
DeleteSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGHHHHHHHHHHH. (happy kind)
ReplyDeleteClass of the East beaners won.
ReplyDeleteBy beating up the elderly and retirement community in Florida. Nice. Was that the make-up game?
DeleteDon't know. Every broon game was versus a team that played the night before.
DeleteWe in the states love a good un-even fight I suppose. Jacobs can't grease every palm but can make sure his team is all happy with an easy win before the PO.
DeleteDDD! Fucking fluke. Take it.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, maybe PatCHes!!!
ReplyDeletePie time!
ReplyDeleteYour feeds are a lot faster than mine. When I am not blacked out (by the local media, not the sauce) I am 10 minutes behind. I will take this late notice though!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of blacked out. Hope 29 is OK.
DeleteScouting report on Pavelec (sp?): Mortar it.
ReplyDeleteWell, well, well, waddya know?!
ReplyDeleteGYFHG!!!
Baking pies iRiRi?
DeleteNo suCH luck! I'd rather bake a cake.
DeleteNot only did PleXXXe win that face off, he wasn't kicked out.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it will encourage him to abandon the switch-hitting draw?
DeleteWow. Father Time behind the clock is really making this painful.
ReplyDeleteDecent win. Feels weird but I love it!
ReplyDeleteTip of the glass to TFS and the team for showing some form again. Not always pretty but love it. Thanks again to Moey and Moe for hosting tonight. Happy to sleep on a win.
DeleteGood to see them get some confidence to beat the stupid leaf on Saturday. Go into the playoffs on a win streak too.
ReplyDeleteOkay, now we can breathe normally until Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI say play the Dogs.
Delete2 more points for PFK. 25:04 TOI.
ReplyDeleteHome ice!
ReplyDeleteJust need to win on Saturday, have the broons lose one of their games. Caps will be resting, but Sens could still have some fight in them to move up on Sunday.
GO HABS GO!
Kadri's a little cheap shot artist, eh? Hacking away at the Florida guy and then tries to run away when things get serious. Fraser of course tackles the guy from behind as goons do. Wonder if HNIC will do a piece on Kadri disrespecting veterans and learning his 'place'. Probably not, but hopefully Cherry sticks his tongue down his throat again. It apparently sucked his goal scoring capabilities right out of him.
ReplyDelete*I still believe that in 2-3 years Kadri will be a 3rd liner on Nashville and HNIC/TSN will mispronounce his name when he visits town like he's some stranger. See also: Stajan, Matt
Did we win?
ReplyDeleteOK, the game started a little late down here (9:00pm) so I bailed after the second period, golf season finally starts today, WOOOOT!! and I'm teeing off this morning. My observations: the defence was a mess last night but Price seemed more focused so good on him. More of that on Saturday night please.
ReplyDeleteMoe, I noticed an article in the G&M yesterday by Mirtle, leaf control Northeast division. What presumptuous dicks, WTF, were the leaf were going to win all their games and Habs and B's lose theirs?
