Pierre Lebrunt on TSN will "remain faithful to the toronto maple leafs" in regards to them making the playoffs. Everyone else "has left the bandwagon" but not him, he believes "they'll pull it off".
At least try to seem somewhat objective guys. Put effort into it. Not in picking the leaf (though he was quick to poo-poo their remaining opponents while waving off the BJ's schedule which has many of the same teams). But dude, you're supposed to be a professional.

MONTREAL – Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin announced Wednesday the signing of defenseman Mac Bennett to a two-year, entry level contract (2014-15 and 2015-16).
In 31 games with the NCAA Big Ten’s University of Michigan in 2013-14, Bennett recorded 14 points (2 goals, 12 assists). He led his team’s defensemen in assists and points. The Wolverines captain served 10 penalty minutes, displayed a +12 differential and was named to the All-Big Ten second team.
Bennett, 23, accumulated 65 points (14 goals, 51 assists) in 136 games since making his college debut with the Wolverines in 2010-11. The 6’00’’ and 195 lbs defenseman totaled 53 penalty minutes. A product of the USHL’s Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, he was named to the USHL All-Rookie Team in 2009-10.
A native of Narragansett, Rhode Island, Bennett was selected in the third round, 79th overall by the Canadiens at the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
Why does tsn (and other mediot sites) say that the leaf struggles are 'troubling'? To who? No 'troubling' articles about the other non-playoff bound Canadian teams? Why?
Its an apologetic CP article (probably Whynno, I'll check): http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=447429
Note despite céline playing one of his worse career games, he isn't mentioned as part of the problem. The mediots are toeing the line on that ... more to come ...
Seven more years of Princess Pylon eating up $7mil of cap space is a great thing for the rest of the league. That player/contract will be an excellent boat anchor around Nonis' neck along with wendel Clark$on.
Moe, I think this Whynno guy will be another pFuck daddy.
Possibly. pfuck is a wannabe that has hitched onto the leaf because of the 'fandom'. One of the biggest pieces of shit around. whynno will likely pull a crisjohnson and suck leaf cock at snet. CP should be ashamed at it's unprofessionalism (unethical too).

"We track scoring chances – our team does – and we're out-chancing teams every night" -Joffrey Lupul
This is the delusion that drives me crazy. From the leaf fans, media, front office and players. This was in particular reference to last night's game against the Blues. They got outshot 49-23, and they actually believe they "outchanced" them. They have the largest shot deficit in the league, they've allowed 50+ shots more than any other team, and they actually believe they are consistently the better team. That's why they always complain about the refs, or blame a goalie for only making 48 saves. They've drank the kool-aid.
I doubt I have ever truly mentioned, much less given praise to ex-Hab and Montrealer Chris Nilan but I have to say I really enjoy the weekly I/O Show videos that feature him. The man is hockey smart. He speaks well and his hockey commentary is informed, mostly unbiased and very entertaining. To think douchebag morons like cherry and stock are on the airwaves adds to the sick fuck mentality of the mediots. Thanks Chris.
I don't know if it would do any good, but there should be an organized communication from hockey fans to Rogers that the same shit reporting/play by play/colour isn't acceptable if they're going to televise Habs games. As we've said, we don't need homers to call the games, but we don't want leaf loving Habs haters either ffs. And I for one, think Knuckles would be an excellent colour guy for Habs games, because I agree moe. I've listened to his program 5 or 6 times now and am never disappointed.
