KidG is quite the find. Earlier, we were discussing all the Habs blown first round picks but they sure make up for it with gems like Gallagher. The kid has the heart of a lion. I think some of it rubbed off on to RBQ. What other explanation could there be?
Which would be none, right? I feel like it's only happened 2 in hockey including the 2010 Boston broons. You remember, when they were up 3-0 in the series and lost 4-3 to the Phlyers. In 2010. The bruins gave up that lead. And they also blew a 3-0 lead in G7. The bruins did. Remember?
Oh hey guys. I got the skinny from TSNCBC. The reason why the Habs are up 3-0 is because of one disallowed goal. Also, the reffing was all against the Lightning, never mind the 3-4 penalties that could have been called before Briere's soft call that lead to a goal. They have it all figured out!
We are never going to afford PFK now, with Vanek gone, RBQ and Vampire Dan in regular season mode we might as well call the tank commander and shoot for Mckinnion. Other than that I a fucking ecstatic.
The mediots and their conspiracy theories are fully engaged. Fuck. Them. All.
After the shit show we had to endure last year against the senaturds, I, for one, am enjoying every minute of this. Here's your crying towels leaf fans. Wipe away your tears.
tsn, the supposedly more professional channel couldn't even bother to talk about the Habs on their esteemed panel. Not, a, word but they did have time to show some beaner picking his nose.
Via CBC: "Not much has gone Tampa Bay's way against Montreal"
There is no player on the Tampa Bay Lightning roster with the surname Murphy, but head coach Jon Cooper and his players felt like they were bitten by the old Murphy's Law adage that says anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
The Montreal Canadiens certainly deserved their 3-2 win to take a 3-0 stranglehold on the first-round series, but there were plenty of parts that didn't go the Lightning's way at the Bell Centre on Sunday.
(blah blah blah only about the Lightning)
Charron interpreted the rule to the letter of the law, but should Subban's interference not have been a factor in his ruling? Possibly. It sure opens up the debate again as to whether there should be a coach's challenge or possible video review on such matters.
(blah blah blah, still only about the Lightning)
I think the Habs were mentioned once or twice in the whole article. Nice job from our "National broadcaster".
The good old CBC sure is going out of their way to pump up the Lightning. Huge son, Simple ton and The Heel fucking near gag when they have to offer any praise for what Montreal might be doing good, but just as likely to whine about the poor Lightning and their misfortunes. Looks like the cockroaches may have too cover another round with the Habs. If it's the goons watch them heap praise on all the dirty tactics they will employ to take the Habs off their speed and skill game.
I don't know why I continue to punish myself by reading PFuck Daddy, but I do. From his 3 stars column:
Steven Stamkos did his best, assisting on both Lightning goals in the loss, the second of which came after he returned from a nasty head hit by Alexei Emelin
Nasty head hit? You mean the accidental hitting of his head against Emelin's knee as Emelin tried to avoid him as Stamkos was down on the ice?
One of the good posters over at HI/O, Maritime Ronn had a great description for Marchand ---- a procreation accident between a rat and a human out in a barn.
», a mentionné Mme Reno.
Yes and far better than Kate Smith IMHO Rene Bourque asked Canadians to re-invite the singer Ginette Reno to sing the national anthem before the number four match played at the Bell Centre. "The Canadian just called to invite me to sing the anthem at the next game. They told me it was Rene Bourque who had asked, "said the singer Journal de Québec. "I said yes, of course, but there is one condition. Tuesday morning, I met my cardiologist, Dr. Jean Rouleau at the Heart Institute. If he gives me permission, put in that I'm going to sing my p'tits guys! "Said Ms. Reno.
I'm with 29 on this. Bell Centre playoff anthem should be done by Ginette. I was giddy beyond belief with her fantastic rendition yesterday and the image of marois and her pals puking was icing.
29, realizing that your are a busy soul but asking anyways, can you decipher Pfuck Daddy's legal mumbo jumbo: "It’s just the law itself of garbage" ( yhoo.it/1msKgA3 ). Is this just a typo or part of the mediot's constant Habs hating rants?
On TSN's front page: "A disallowed goal in the second period of Sunday's first round matchup between the Canadiens and Lightning was seen by many as a game-changing and possibly the series-changing moment."
There you have it. A borderline call on a goal halfway through a game in which the Habs were dominating is responsible for the series being 3-0. Oh, what about the phantom call on Briere that led to the first TB goal? Or the goal taken away from RBQ even though Tampa didn't touch the puck on a delayed call? Nope, it's this one call that won all three games for the Habs. Quality reporting.
Oh god. They are PISSED. Apparently PK should have gotten several penalties, and Price was trying to dislodge the net ILLEGALLY! Wow. And they keep saying the ref's name and stressing the "French" of it.
It should have gone to Toronto for an "independent" call. Yes, French Canadian refs can't be unbiased, so we should base everything in Toronto because, as TSN is proving right now, they never let their bias get in the way of being objective.
Let me restate: They said it was the worst call in the history of all sports.
Price and PK are smarter and more talented than anybody on tsn's pathetic panel. The smart ones move on to better things, ie, Paul Maurice, Torts, etc.
I do like the commentators. "MAF has been outstanding this period!" "Shots are 11-1 as the Pens have outscored the BlueJackets 3-1 this period". Sooooooo, MAF has let in the only shot he's faced this period then. Okie.

someone bribe that cardiologist! we could use our own Kate Smith
DeleteWow, let's keep Rene habby. I heard someone wrote that Reno singing the anthem was like a last kick in the teeth to the PQ.
DeleteYes and far better than Kate Smith IMHO
DeleteRene Bourque asked Canadians to re-invite the singer Ginette Reno to sing the national anthem before the number four match played at the Bell Centre.

DeleteI'm with 29 on this. Bell Centre playoff anthem should be done by Ginette. I was giddy beyond belief with her fantastic rendition yesterday and the image of marois and her pals puking was icing.
