The Silvertips reported on their Twitter account that Scherbak, who was selected 26th overall at the 2014 NHL draft, has “movement in all his extremities and his head/neck are okay. Undergoing tests for a potential back injury.” In 19 games this season, the 18-year-old Scherbak has 11 goals and 17 assists with the Silvertips,
Hello fellow FHFers! I went to the Sea Dogs game last night, hence my silence during the Habs/B's game last night. I must say I enjoyed reading all the comments this morning having my coffee, great stuff by usual suspects. I watched the game on PVR when I got home so I was quite aware of all the shit the B's were guilty of and the Boston arse sucking by hnic. I had a very interesting experience last night while exiting the Sea Dogs game, I recognized and ended up having a nice chat with former Montreal Canadien player, London Knights co-owner and current Director of Player Personnel for the dysfunctional leaf, Mr. Mark Hunter. I did not mention said leaf out of respect, but here's a funny little story that occurred at the end of our conversation:
At the end of our conversation Mark mentioned there seemed to be quite a few Habs fans around. I said indeed there were but there were many Leafs fans as well. I also said there were a few Bruins fans in Saint John and he was a bit surprised by that fact. I told him it was probably due to the close proximity of Boston… you can get there in 7 hours by car. Two gentlemen walking in front of us must have heard the conversation and one of them (wearing a Canadiens hat) turned around and said: “the Bruins fans are the ones with the lower IQ’s.” To which Mr. Hunter and I both got quite a chuckle!
Anyway, thought I would share that with you, It's always fun to talk to the guys who actually played for our beloved Habs or most any NHLer.
Now, I know I'm being greedy but I really, really, really want the Habs to beat the Rags tonight just to shut up the CotU nitwits who continue to insist the Canadiens are not an 'elite' team. I don't know what else they would have to do to prove otherwise. Beat the leaf maybe?
Great story the M. I also want them to beat the Rags, esp. to ram the b2b down their throats, though I'm sure they'll still pull some kind of excuses out their asses and will never whisper how their leaf won their Rag game when Rangers were missing 3 players: Ryan McDonnagh (Top D-man), John Moore Suspension, Dan Boyle and playing backup goalie i/o Lundqvist. GYMFHG!
Congrats to the Als for turning around a 1-7 disaster of a season. That was something. They'll be back next year healthier and with a QB with experience under his belt.
Bitter taste to end though. Ugh, 3 INTs and 2 returns for TD against. meh
At least the Pats won! 1-1 for the day. Looking for a 2-1 day after disposing of the dirty Rags. Figure out some supper before ending my day with the Habs vs the Walking Dead. Wait, Habs then the WD. Even got some yard work done at half time. I'll call the day productive. The rest of my family is currently 100% obsessed with the latest Dragon Age installment, mrs. included.
Should be a good WD tonight **SPOILERS FOR WALKING DEAD** in the rest of this comment
Everything is coming together for an amazing raid on the hospital. My worry is that tonight it will be an hour of Rick sitting in a church thinking about whether / how to raid the hospital, and we have to wait for next week for the real action

Habs broadcast roulette tonight landed on City and RDS. Seems to be all City too, not just City Montreal. Though blackouts may be in effect. The rules of this roulette are complicated.
A friend of mine is from Nova Scotia and he often tells me that it's pretty much split between the Habs and broons over there, although since Crosby entered the league it might be mostly Pens fans now (the young'ins). He told me 7 of his buddies drove down to beantown for the game on Saturday, a mix of Hab and broon fans. As you said, Boston is actually the closest hockey market and you can either drive down or take a ferry.
Sadly there are also a lot of leaf fans here too. I'd say there is a slim majority of Habs fans.
There is a ferry that goes from Yarmouth (western tip of NS) to Bangor, Maine that the NS government keeps afloat. I keep saying that a ferry from Halifax to Boston would be far more useful. Boston itself is actually a beautiful city and I'd take advantage of that.
With gamecenter live, I can get the other team's broadcast if I want. Funny thing, often when I switch to that broadcast they're saying kind words about either specific Habs or the team as a whole. Just now when I tuned in they were praising PK, saying he's amazing, etc. Yet when we listen to our 'home' broadcast often it's quite the opposite. Funny how that works.
Here we are 5 or 6 game into his tenure with the Habs and they're still flogging the "only the 3rd 40 year old to play for the Habs"...I've heard that every game so far. We know.
By this time last night HNIC had mentioned and lamented the fact that boston played the night before about 15 times by this point in the game. I think I may have heard it once about the Habs in the pregame tonight.
A team that hasn't played since last Monday vs. a team that has played 4 in the last 6 days. If fucking hnic clowns can make that excuse for the boons then so can I.
Hey remember when GonCH first got to Montreal and he shot from everywhere on the PP and the Habs scored 4 PPGs in 2 games? Now he hardly shoots anymore. That tells me the coaching staff is changing his game, and we can see they've scored 1 PPG since then. I'm not a hockey expert, but I just don't get it. Who is telling these guys not to shoot?
Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What's Bournival's situation? Still injured? Bulldogs? This playing 7 D (3 of them 34 or over) playing in b2b games ain't working. I don't think Bowman is the answer.
There's still time for them to make a come back. Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I did expect a loss. Just thought they'd at least try, you know for dignity and all that. 6 games in 9 nights, SN and HNIC ain't talking about that, though. They're still wiping away their tears for their boys in boston.
Been outscored 30-3 in their 6 regulation losses this year. Being first is nice, but it's worrisome because there's obviously nights where they simply don't show up. That's not a winning attitude, and it belies problems in work ethic and leadership.
Good morning everyone! Just checked the standings and our Canadiens are still No. 1 overall. That may change as the week progresses because they don't play again until Friday but man, you gotta like where they are at. MB will keep a close eye on his team and will be active when the trade deadline approaches. We know he is proactive unlike his immediate predecessors. Lots of hockey to be played, lots of twists and turns along the way. I'm going to use the next few days to get caught up on my TV viewing and a couple of movies. I picked up a blu-ray edition of Bladerunner at Wal-Mart for 8 bucks the other day, haven't seen it in years.
Blade Runner was one of the most infuential movies of all time. Its universe has been occupied by hundreds of movies. As entertianment the Fifth Element IMHO blows it away.Philip K Dick is the favorite Sci Fi author of Hollywood. Minority Report, Paychek, The Island. In his day he was a freak, and I am touched that he hits some nerves so hard that Blade Runner continues to resonnate.
I am sure he is MT's idol. Do great men create history or does history create great men. In the case of Victor its clearly the later. That said he was part of the force that revoluionized hockey. Without him we would not have a third of the Russian defenceman playing in the NHL.
I think it was he who famously anointed Bob Gainey as technically the best hockey player in the world back in the late 70's, thus BG's reputation was sealed.
Chocula would have a brain hemoragge over our defence, and that would be the first new impulse in his brain in decades. Our D is positivily pastifarian with a caulander. TFS makes it look normal. Other goalies make it look like a D that is like the retreat from Vietnamm. This team is a big red Ferrari driving around in the TFS trunk. Ferraries have a very small trunk.
All the flaws of this team are exposed when MT thinks he is a defensive genius. He continues to play conservative on offense with a single player defence. Its fucking crazy. When you have a goalie like TFS forget about fucking around with chess moves in your own zone. Take it to the limit on offense. Do not pretend you are something your not, because we are not a great defensive team.
Eyes on the prize you have to take with a grain of salt. However they have some truly heart warming pics of mothers and sons. http://www.habseyesontheprize.com/2014/11/24/7272481/canadiens-son-mother-road-trip-pictures-nikita-scherbak-injury-update-lars-eller-mike-weaver
So what's the verdict - is Allen any better than Gilbert? If so, then sit Gilbert use 6 D and get back to rolling 4 lines. DDD needs 3rd line minutes, Cakes needs more PP minutes and Gonchar needs to just shoot the puck whenever he can and ignore anything the "coach" has told him since joining the Habs.
"Unable to Hit the Broad Side Of A Barn: There has to be major concern in Minny over the production of winger Tomas Vanek, signed to a three-year, $19.5 million contract last summer. Vanek has one goal in 19 games. Of all the players who have scored at least 70 goals over the last four seasons, Vanek’s .35 goals per game average ranks him 29th."
What a great evening. Just sitting here listening to Dueling Banjos by Roy Clark and Chet Atkins and read the news that Bill Shater is coming to Haven! Haven is shot here on the south shore of NS, just 15 minutes from my cottage (which I have on the market). Maybe Captain Kirk would like to rent it. Or TJ Hooker. Ooh! CCR's version of House of the Rising Sun is on now. I love grooveshark. I can make a great ecclectic playlist and there isn't anything I've looked for that I've not been able to find other than one song. Plus I've discovered a number of great covers of some of my favourite songs. And the playlist is available wherever I go because it streams - no need to download. Sorry, I just find this really awesome. Hey, The Weight by The Band!
"In that game, Campbell had dumped the puck into the Habs' zone from just outside the blue line and near the side boards. Weise finished a legal check just off the back portion of Campbell's shoulder cap that caused the Bruins player to fall awkwardly into the boards. After getting back on his feet, Campbell skated toward Weise near the inside hash marks of the end zone face-off circle. Weise viewed this as an immediate threat and fired off his gloves and dropped Campbell with a solid right before the Bruins player had a chance to engage. Weise then landed a couple of more punches on the helmet of Campbell as the linesmen quickly separated the two players and before Campbell could even throw a punch. Campbell was certainly caught by surprise through the quick action demonstrated by Weise and appeared to express his dismay to Weise in the penalty box at the lack of usual fighter protocol or code normally extended prior to what should have been a mutually agreed upon fight. There didn't appear to be an opportunity to settle the score during the balance of that game on November 13. On Saturday night, fighter protocol was followed to the letter. A verbal invitation was extended by Campbell to Weise. Weise had the option to continue pursuing the puck and decline the invitation. Instead, the Montreal forward did the honorable thing when he accepted Campbell's offering by stopping, turning and throwing down his stick and gloves first. As a result, Campbell was exonerated of being deemed the instigator of the fight and relieved of any supplementary discipline under Rule 70.2."
....." the lack of usual fighter protocol or code normally extended prior to what should have been a mutually agreed upon fight." WTF? What the fuck code have the broons ever followed? Fraser, who has 'fond memories' as a child gathering around with his family watching their fave team...the leaf. O-R-A
You meant like sending goons on for the last 5 seconds of a nothing out of hand game and pummling a 35 year old non-fighter's face with an elbow pad? That code?
The broons are dirty as elephant shit, the least classy team in the league, and everyone outside the GTA/Boston knows it. Unfortunately GTA/Boston hacks rule the airwaves (and NHL head office) so they get to create their own narrative.
TSN can't even be bothered to update the scores (they're 'unavailable' on the page, just haven't even started at the top). Funny they can update the leaf every 30 seconds in written form but can't even keep the scores of other games. CotU for sure.
Too funny, less than 3mins left in the 3rd, broons called for too many men, there were clearly 6 players in front of the pens net - a blind man could see that.
I wouldn't get too bent out of shape about N8 or TinTin spending more time in the Hammer. When N8 served up that pizza to Bennett of Pittsburgh last week he pretty much sealed his own fate. They are both still very young and neither has the last name Doughty or Ekhart, guys who can play in the NHL as an 18 year old. They didn't (Y) until he was like 24 or something. If they don't like it they can sulk or suck it up and play hard in the AHL and make MB make a move. It's up to them.
My biggest concern is eMpTy CONSTANTLY throwing out DD on the fucking useless PP. All he does when he gets the puck is look for Patches, Patches, Patches. Fuck, there is another guy who can score out there not named Patches. PAP. PFK. Vodkov. ANYBODY. What's the definition of insanity? MT and DD are both guilty of it.
I heard they save a few bucks, if Bowman and N8 sit here for 4 days they earn NHL$, down there earn AHL$ plus they get to play a few games. If they don't call them back, then they're just in the dog house.
The National Hockey League is monitoring the rioting in Ferguson, Missouri ahead of Tuesday's game in St. Louis between the Blues and Ottawa Senators. Ferguson is approximately 20 km from St. Louis. TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger reports that it's possible that the Senators-Blues game could be postponed and rescheduled if the rioting were to become an issue in St. Louis. Riots broke out on Monday night after a Grand Jury in Ferguson decided not to indict a police officer Darren Wilson over the shooting of unarmed teenager Michael Brown in August.
As we wait...and wait...and wait to play Buffalo, thought I'd take moe's advice and post a request. Then I thought parody. When I think Buffalo, I think Springfield. But I can't do anything anti-Buffalo being they're sadsacks with Gio and Gorges, so, for what it's worth, a mid(ish) week break...:
There's something happening here But what it is ain't exactly clear There's a mediot with a mic over there Telling me the Habs got to beware
I think it's time we stop Children, what's that sound? Everybody look - Hughson's going down
There's battle lines being drawn The Habs are all right and the mediots are wrong Habs fans speaking' their minds Getting so much CotU resistance from behind
It's time we stop Hey, what's that sound? Everybody look – McLean’s going down
What a field day for the leaf A thousand people saluting in the street Singing songs and carrying signs Mostly saying, "plan the parade"
It's time we stop Hey, what's that sound? Everybody look - Chery's going down
Paranoia strikes deep Into your life it will creep It starts when Lucic is always afraid Step out of line, Weise’ll come and take you away
We better stop Hey, what's that sound? Everybody look - Kypreos' going down
We better stop Hey, what's that sound? Everybody look - Friedman's going down
We better stop Now, what's that sound? Everybody look - Hrudey's going down
We better stop Children, what's that sound? Everybody look - Sportsnet's going down (on the leaf)
Listening to Nilan talking to Jimmy Bizzy (sp.) his former teammate and best bud in beantown discussing broons and Tyler Sequin came up.If I heard correctly, (I got distracted with something else) Bizzy mentioned something about married, he won't mention any names but he knows that happened for a fact.
All the pundits agree. DDD is the last passagner on this team. He is the little square in the big round.. I wish DDD was Denis Savard, or Martin St Louis, but hie is not.He is Charles Brofman to Clint Eastwood. He is Ediston to Telsa. He is Bill Gates to Steve Jobs. Maybe he could be a decent little winger, but he is never going to be a first line center. He was not born that way.
Tangereti nickname. As we all knoiw the only useful thing to come from the space program was Tang. Therefore we call him NASA, also because is the size of one of Jupiters moons.
TSN is so predictable and petty. I just visited their site and upon seeing that the leaf game is not front and center I say to myself, "They must be losing". I look for the score in the above line and it's missing. You have to scroll all the way to the end to find it. Funny, their last two games were first, with updates front and center on their main page.
It's just so odd. It's just hockey! Imagine what these guys would do with real news!
Those sick fucks can't even bring themselves to give the slightest respect to Gilles Tremblay. No first name in their headline and a stupidly cropped image.

ReplyDeleteThat's the 4th time I hear them say hand pass, wtf?
ReplyDeletesigh
ReplyDelete(Y), geez Toker get the fuck up.
ReplyDeleteThe Habs will slip to 15th in the power rankings.
ReplyDeleteThat's it. I'm going to bed early. .500 this week was good. I hate the fucking Rags though.
ReplyDeleteGood night all.
Early tee time? :-) G'night.
DeleteToker tried to make it fair on the goal, making himself look extra small against St Louis, going into the crouch.
ReplyDeletePut Cakes in.
ReplyDeleteToker has been good, cant blame hm.
ReplyDeleteThey better get the moms into the room in the intermission to give their boys a good scalding.
ReplyDeleteWhat's Bournival's situation? Still injured? Bulldogs? This playing 7 D (3 of them 34 or over) playing in b2b games ain't working. I don't think Bowman is the answer.
ReplyDeleteSome of you may have seen this but methinks it is timely;
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9qA8c-E_oA
There's still time for them to make a come back.
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fucking Henrik deserves an embellishment.
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGet your shit together boys.
ReplyDeleteAV wants an additional 2, refs told him it's accidental.
ReplyDeleteAnother double minor coming up, didn't see why.
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo, Duclair has learned the art of trying to injure a goalie.
ReplyDeleteWell, I did expect a loss. Just thought they'd at least try, you know for dignity and all that. 6 games in 9 nights, SN and HNIC ain't talking about that, though. They're still wiping away their tears for their boys in boston.
ReplyDeleteRags fans chanting OLE, hope it backfires on them.
ReplyDeleteMan when they lose, they really lose. Proves that some nights the whole team just decides not to show up. Worrisome.
ReplyDeleteAnd sorry to say it, while Toker impressed in the playoffs last year he's been less than convincing this year so far.
ReplyDeleteThey're gonna need their moms tonight.
ReplyDeleteIs it the b2b or is it because they beat the broons?
ReplyDeleteNight folks.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.heraldnet.com/article/20141123/BLOG12/141129600/1004/Nikita-Scherbak-update-major-injury-averted
ReplyDeleteThat's great news.
DeleteBeen outscored 30-3 in their 6 regulation losses this year. Being first is nice, but it's worrisome because there's obviously nights where they simply don't show up. That's not a winning attitude, and it belies problems in work ethic and leadership.
ReplyDeleteHere's a (horrifying fact):
ReplyDeleteThe Habs have been shutout 4 times in 22 games. They're on pace to be shut out 15 times this season. That's almost 20% of their games.
ReplyDeleteG0 HABS GO!!!!!
Joanna Cassidy in the shower scene changed the way I looked at, movies.
DeleteBlade Runner was one of the most infuential movies of all time.
DeleteR.I.P. Viktor Tikhonov
ReplyDeleteI am sure he is MT's idol. Do great men create history or does history create great men. In the case of Victor its clearly the later. That said he was part of the force that revoluionized hockey. Without him we would not have a third of the Russian defenceman playing in the NHL.
DeleteI think it was he who famously anointed Bob Gainey as technically the best hockey player in the world back in the late 70's, thus BG's reputation was sealed.
DeleteCondolences.
DeleteChocula would have a brain hemoragge over our defence, and that would be the first new impulse in his brain in decades.
ReplyDeleteOur D is positivily pastifarian with a caulander.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.habseyesontheprize.com/2014/11/24/7272481/canadiens-son-mother-road-trip-pictures-nikita-scherbak-injury-update-lars-eller-mike-weaver
ReplyDeleteAllen is Gill without the confidence or skill at being an an anchor is a game of speed. Some time gravity works for you.
DeleteMaybe DGMB can ship DDD to the Oilers, they're shopping for a center.
ReplyDeleteR.I.P. Pat Quinn
ReplyDeleteCondolences.
DeleteI didn't even know he was sick. R.I.P.
DeleteA great life peonisfied, Exlusive to the past,
DeleteAlways sad to hear such unexpected news...condolences
Delete"Unable to Hit the Broad Side Of A Barn: There has to be major concern in Minny over the production of winger Tomas Vanek, signed to a three-year, $19.5 million contract last summer. Vanek has one goal in 19 games. Of all the players who have scored at least 70 goals over the last four seasons, Vanek’s .35 goals per game average ranks him 29th."
ReplyDeleteGarth Snow has to be breathing a sigh of relief. He's out a draft pick but saved a pile of cash. I think they offered $50mil over 7 years? Oy!
DeleteMB's probably glad Vanish took a pass on the Habs....
TV will probably be playing for Pierre Page in the Austrian Super League soon.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great evening.

DeleteAwesome comment. Never hesitate to post a request.
DeletePen vs broons, Sens vs Wings hmm, Sens win would be better for the Habs but not sure 'bout Pens, broons.
ReplyDeleteJulien always looks bewildered and astounded whenever they get a penalty.
ReplyDeleteFrom c'mon ora:
ReplyDelete"In that game, Campbell had dumped the puck into the Habs' zone from just outside the blue line and near the side boards.
That is some weird shit.
DeleteYou meant like sending goons on for the last 5 seconds of a nothing out of hand game and pummling a 35 year old non-fighter's face with an elbow pad? That code?
DeleteThe broons are dirty as elephant shit, the least classy team in the league, and everyone outside the GTA/Boston knows it. Unfortunately GTA/Boston hacks rule the airwaves (and NHL head office) so they get to create their own narrative.
Broons have had 2 goals waived off, this could get ugly.
ReplyDeleteTSN can't even be bothered to update the scores (they're 'unavailable' on the page, just haven't even started at the top). Funny they can update the leaf every 30 seconds in written form but can't even keep the scores of other games. CotU for sure.
ReplyDeleteToo funny, less than 3mins left in the 3rd, broons called for too many men, there were clearly 6 players in front of the pens net - a blind man could see that.
ReplyDeletePens take it 3-2 at 30+secs into OT.
ReplyDeleteWings take it 4-3
ReplyDeleteBo put down, he falls to the Hammer. We need to take to the streets.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't get too bent out of shape about N8 or TinTin spending more time in the Hammer.
DeleteMy biggest concern is eMpTy CONSTANTLY throwing out DD on the fucking useless PP. All he does when he gets the puck is look for Patches, Patches, Patches. Fuck, there is another guy who can score out there not named Patches. PAP. PFK. Vodkov. ANYBODY. What's the definition of insanity? MT and DD are both guilty of it.
Master Blaster
DeleteI heard they save a few bucks, if Bowman and N8 sit here for 4 days they earn NHL$, down there earn AHL$ plus they get to play a few games. If they don't call them back, then they're just in the dog house.
ReplyDeleteThe National Hockey League is monitoring the rioting in Ferguson, Missouri ahead of Tuesday's game in St. Louis between the Blues and Ottawa Senators.
ReplyDeleteFerguson is approximately 20 km from St.
I wonder why he never decided to become a rocket scientist.
DeleteAs we wait...and wait...and wait to play Buffalo, thought I'd take moe's advice and post a request. Then I thought parody. When I think Buffalo, I think Springfield. But I can't do anything anti-Buffalo being they're sadsacks with Gio and Gorges, so, for what it's worth, a mid(ish) week break...:
ReplyDeleteThere's something happening here
But what it is ain't exactly clear
There's a mediot with a mic over there
Telling me the Habs got to beware
I think it's time we stop
Children, what's that sound?
Everybody look - Hughson's going down
There's battle lines being drawn
The Habs are all right and the mediots are wrong
Habs fans speaking' their minds
Getting so much CotU resistance from behind
It's time we stop
Hey, what's that sound?
Everybody look – McLean’s going down
What a field day for the leaf
A thousand people saluting in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly saying, "plan the parade"
It's time we stop
Hey, what's that sound?
Everybody look - Chery's going down
Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when Lucic is always afraid
Step out of line, Weise’ll come and take you away
We better stop
Hey, what's that sound?
Everybody look - Kypreos' going down
We better stop
Hey, what's that sound?
Everybody look - Friedman's going down
We better stop
Now, what's that sound?
Everybody look - Hrudey's going down
We better stop
Children, what's that sound?
Everybody look - Sportsnet's going down (on the leaf)
Outstanding work Saint P - outstanding!!

DeleteListening to Nilan talking to Jimmy Bizzy (sp.) his former teammate and best bud in beantown discussing broons and Tyler Sequin came up.If I heard correctly, (I got distracted with something else) Bizzy mentioned something about married, he won't mention any names but he knows that happened for a fact.

If I vote, I will personally vote for Vodkov over PK. PK's been disappointing thus far IMHO.
DeleteAll the pundits agree.
ReplyDeleteR.I.P. Gilles Tremblay
ReplyDeleteA career Canadien. R.I.P.
DeleteI don't really recall him playing, but I remember him from La Soiree du Hockey, an institution sadly missed.
A true Hab and a great analyst alongside René Lecavalier. R.I.P. Monsieur Tremblay.

Tangereti nickname. As we all knoiw the only useful thing to come from the space program was Tang. Therefore we call him NASA, also because is the size of one of Jupiters moons.
ReplyDeleteI thought tangerine was the obvious choice, although it'll be a bit cumbersome to type after his many goals.
DeleteTSN is so predictable and petty. I just visited their site and upon seeing that the leaf game is not front and center I say to myself, "They must be losing". I look for the score in the above line and it's missing. You have to scroll all the way to the end to find it. Funny, their last two games were first, with updates front and center on their main page.
ReplyDeleteIt's just so odd. It's just hockey! Imagine what these guys would do with real news!
Those sick fucks can't even bring themselves to give the slightest respect to Gilles Tremblay. No first name in their headline and a stupidly cropped image.
