Great job moe, hope everyone enjoyed the Day yesterday, now it's on to the family visiting, more eating and more drinking a la 29 over the next few days.
ReplyDeleteHockey is back tonight, Go Canada Go!!
Nice one, and I think this SF tells us one important fact. DGMB is going to sign Bobby Orr.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sexy Boxing Day, FHFers
ReplyDeletePK as the security guard was awesome, Fucale to the Remparts not so much!
ReplyDeleteI can't understand football players at all, maybe I'm pigeon-holing here but there seem to be a whole bunch who turn to a variety of crimes - home invasions, murder, domestic violence. I know the NHL had 2 lately for domestic abuse but nothing the like the scope of football players.
ReplyDeleteGo Canada Go!
ReplyDeleteDeBoer has been fired.
ReplyDeleteI imagine Bylsma will get that job...if he wants it. Be awesome to make Jagr the first player-coach since 1970 though! Then at the trade deadline trade Jagr for DDD and Therrien.
DeleteInteresting concept. I like it.
DeleteGreat Boxing Day SF Moeman! I have eaten way too much and not watched any news of television whatsoever...anything happening out there?
ReplyDeleteCanada is on fire, 3-0 end of 1st..
ReplyDelete7-0 after 2 nice work kids!
ReplyDeleteamazing SF nice work moe!
Maritimer this one is for you. My friend tells me it is a direct directory to streams and even live TV. No pop ups, no ads no fooling around just streaming. My friend only installed it today but is told he can watch NHL Game Center without regional blackouts.
ReplyDeletehttp://kodi.tv/download/
nothing is free its a bit of pain to figure out how to use it and to get it working properly. There is a video, its for version 13 now we are on version 14. The second two sources I added did not seem to work so well. Just add the first one, and watch the part about video add ons and your good to go,

No matter what it is a better mousetrap for pirates.
So, I won't have to worry about the MAN showing up at my door?
DeleteSo far the Man is way to busy chasing his tail with downloading to worry about streaming. Its also my sound legal opinon that most laws applying to downloading are worded poorly for streaming. I would seek a second opnion! This Kodi is similar in function to Pirate Bay. You do not access it using normal browser. It iis merely a player for streams. No causis bells there. The user puts in addresses that fill its directory of third party apps. These are the same ones My friend has been streaming for yers using normal browsers and flash player. He has been very impressed by the video quality.and he is hoping the NHL feed will be pristine, not the hiit and miss on the other system. I think this whole project is in the dark net.
DeleteMy friend is in!!! Wait, what, errrr...... never mind.
DeleteMartin Reway is named the Player of the Game for Slovakia.
ReplyDeleteDid they not lose 8-0. Is the guy who selected him player of the game the same guy who says Steve Harper is the best PM in history?
DeleteHabs are already practising in Raleigh.
ReplyDeleteGo tonight Canes Go.
Wings 3 Sens 2 in OT
ReplyDeleteSabres 4 NYI 3 in SO
CBJ 6 broons 2
Tampa 2 Canes 1
Rangers 3 Devils 1
Caps leading 3-0 over Pens in the 3rd.
Canada shuts out Germany.
ReplyDeleteWhat a homer whiner Jack Edwards is, wah, wah, wah. The sad part is, this whiner gets Jacob's friends to look into it.

Hurley's has been tainted now that Blob MacKenzie was there.
ReplyDeleteI started watching Marco Polo during my free Netflix month. Seems somewhat historically acurate as it (so far) is focusing on the title character's time spent with Kubla Khan. If you like Asian boobs, you'll like this show.
ReplyDeleteI also just found out that one of my favourite shows, Longmire, was cancelled by A&E. Guess they prefer shit like Duck Dynasty and Storage Wars to well written and acted modern day western dramas. Good news is that Netflix has saved it and will air season 4 next year!
Loved Starbuck west I mean Longmire, glad to see its is saved.
DeleteCongrats to Genie!
ReplyDeleteGo Panthers Go!
ReplyDeleteThe blue&white haired dave hodge;
ReplyDelete"Thumbs up to the "feel-good" team in the Eastern Conference--the Toronto Maple Leafs. No, I mean it--this isn't some attention-getting, tongue-in-cheek submission--it's a good thing if the Leafs are in a playoff spot. It's certainly good for the NHL, which would take a Toronto-Pittsburgh series in the first round, or, better still, a Toronto-Montreal matchup, and be downright giddy. It's a good thing for Leaf lovers and haters alike--you can cheer for them or hope they get knocked off in the first round after blowing a three-goal lead in game seven. (Oh, wait, Boston isn't in a playoff spot right now. More on the Bruins momentarily)."
Sick fuck.
Won't deny the (small) kid has some talent but find it glaringly obvious that mediots aren't hockey fans but just leaf fans as they slobber all over their new leaf hope Nylander. He isn't even Sweden's best player (some kid named de la Rose (what a gorgeous name that is!) is. I will suggest that the moron leafools at the acc will be cheering him over Team Canada if/when Canada meets the Swedes in that Hogtown hole.
ReplyDeleteLike rooting for Team USA i/o Team Canada in Sochi who had so many Canadians on the team because of doughnut-boy.
DeleteThat guy de la Rose is the captain.
DeleteBelieve me I know about de la Rose's cred juce. The mediots, for the benefit of their team and the legion of lemming leafools, will avoid mentioning his Captaincy, his two-way play, his slick passes, his size, his draft position, his better play, etc. etc. etc. ...
Deletede la Rose wasn't doing much in Hamilton (I blame Lefebvre) but by all accounts he is the best player on Team Sweden. I suspect he may be getting the gCHuk Therrien treatment in Steeltown. It's possible the braindead leafool fans don't even know who Nylander is, but as you say moe, the mediots will be beating hard on that drum as well as their tiny blue erections.
DeleteI can't wait for the mediots to start calling him a 'smurf'.
DeleteHey Steve, my friend is having a lot of fun with the "Kodi" thing, he got a couple of add-ons working. That internet lawyer guy made him feel better about internet rules as well. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteGo Le'Veon Bell, Go STEELERS!
ReplyDeleteThe leaf give up 3 goals to the Panthers to go down 5-4. The go ahead goal was a PPG while SN was going on and on about how great the leaf are shorthanded, just wait for that SHG! As usual, every time Kessel touches the puck it's like 1984 Wayne, even when he's icing it from his end.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Panthers get the ENG to seal it. SOG 34-16. SN sounds downright suicidal. Heehee.
Fuck you leaf hahahahaha, toss those jerseys.
ReplyDeleteRats!
DeleteI was hoping that leafie in the ugly leaf sweater was gonna toss it.
Delete"The Panthers have been treating these games like playoff games! That's why they're so strong tonight! They've got the leaf tonight, then Montreal and then the Rangers! All teams they're battling for the wild card position!"
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, how have they been treating "all these games" like playoff games when this is the first one and it's not even done. Second, The Habs are not battling for a wild card spot. Nice try, though. Third, it's not unfair that the Panthers are taking these games seriously, as you implied. The leaf are battling for a wild card spot too, why don't they play harder?
And now we're on to the "Lots of leaf fans here! The whole crowd is leaf fans! They are everywhere!" Ugh. Why do I aggrevate myself?
Now they say their next game against TB will be tough because they are the elite team in the division (remember, Habs who are 2 pts behind them with 2 games in hand are 'battling' for a wild card position). Oh, and Stamkos loves playing against the leaf. It's his home town. Boy, he'd probably love to play in Toronto every night. Right.
Go Tampa.
DeleteI watched (on TVA) the last 90 seconds and was laughing my ass off. What a fucking overrated team. The mediots and leafools 'deserve' their putrid team. I'll be cheering against them on the 31st, too. Eat shit and die.
I watCHed it on TVA also, Normand Flynn kept pointing out the Luoungo save with 2 secs to go as a turning point.
DeleteThat was awesome.
ReplyDeleteLive gravy or icing or ice cram or all three, blended, into a nice smoothie.
DeleteWe'll see some more creative writing.
ReplyDeleteAlso, too, how fucking pathetic of an empty 'leaf rabid' arena was that? Looked like the acc (pronounced ack).
ReplyDeleteThis game was like an unopened present hidden behind the tree. For hockey fans it was a nice box of luscious chocolates, for leafools, a Jack-off-in-the-box!
Watched the Interview last night. Meh. I can't stand James Franco in any movie, this was no exception. Quite the opposite, actually. He just reminds me of a friend who could be kinda cool but thinks he's really funny and overdoes the 'funny' way too much, but thinks he's nailing it. But everyone's like, "Dude, you're not the funny one. Seth is the funny one. You're not the smart one either, so stop that too." But he went away to college and all the pretentious hipsters there convinced him that he's hilarious and witty so he's not giving it up so we're all forced to sit there and listen to his asinine impressions and 'ironic' fart jokes.
ReplyDeleteBut I felt like it was my civic duty to watch the movie. It was funny at times, usually when it wasn't trying so hard to be funny.
Franco is pretty eclectic and I like his warped sense of humour, often turned onto himself. He is an artist that gives a shit when he wants to and takes weird leaps into weird abysses, I can dig that.
DeleteI agree to disagree. You are right that he can do good things when he wants to. Planet of the Apes was really good, and he was really good in it. And I did like him in This is the End.
DeleteFWIW, I am in 'Senators' viewing area so the brainiacs at SN black&blueout leaf games (oops Gatineau gets the tva show). What the fuck are they afraid of? Some Ottawa-area hockey fans laughing at their biased broadcasts on a non-ionic night? What a bunch of fucking rusted-shut ex-cbc tools.
ReplyDeleteAs seen on tsn, just now "Panthers use defensive scores to rout ..."
ReplyDeleteOops that was the Carolina Panthers. Nothing about their leaf being routed by Panthers for 4 goals on 6 shots to complete their collapse.
Creative writing is take some time.
DeleteRBQ just cancelled a PP for his team by getting one.
ReplyDeleteWonder if hodge gives his team the thumbs down after they imploded vs the Panthers. Still 'feel good'?
ReplyDeletegrandpa hodge should look up the words hubris or pétard or lemming or ratfuck (on urban dictionary).
DeleteThat whole article about the leaf is so fucking dumb. God, leafools really do believe everyone in the world is rooting for them and loves them. moe (and any others that lived in Ontario, specifically the GTA) knows how it is. leaf fans really do talk about how the league wants them to make the playoffs, or how other cities would be lucky to see them in a 7 game series. Back when the leaf made the playoffs (pre-internet days) they'd tell me how the refs would be against them in order to make all their series 7 games because the fans in the other cities were dying to see them that one extra time. They really do believe this crap. One of my facebook leaf fan friends posted a few weeks ago during their unbelievable run (what was it, 5 wins in a row?) how they 'just' missed the playoffs because Reimer had a couple of bad games. They were 9 points out with 5 teams between them and a playoff spot. But it doesn't matter, they live in a different reality and the media, like Dave Hodge, just pump in the delusion.
DeleteSo I have no doubt that leaf fans really believe that their team, the team that gives pylons $6 million dollar contracts, the team that blames its goalies for loses for not making the 54th save of the night, the organization that has the highest ticket prices in league while failing to make the playoffs for a decade, the team that whines about everything yet has the "war room" literally in their back office, the team that demands special treatment on the schedule, this team is everyone's feel good story for sort of being in a playoff spot in December. I have no doubt that 98% of leaf fans actually believe hockey fans across the continent are following and celebrating this story.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind... when the games really start to matter starting, oh, in early February, the leaf will fold up like a cheap suit and nose dive down the standings. They don't have the character or fortitude to win when it matters. In the meantime the mediots have to cater to the masses in Ontario and keep their hopes up to keep selling papers and accumulating mouse clicks. IATG.
