Unfortunately the leafools won't take the time to read this, they are still cheering the fact their genius GM swapped a non producing, washed up cap eating winger for a crippled one that ml$e can spend $26 million on the next 5 years but hide in their "debit" column. That pile of dog shit shown above epitomizes the leaf organization to a "tee".
When 90% of the mediots give the 'genius trade' credit to the pinheaded nonis and the leafools eat that shitpile like a gourmet meal you know they live in a bizarro world. They'll just re-shit it or puke it out and re-eat it.
I know I shouldn't admit this but since I can't listen to the two idiots Kypreos and Maclean anymore, for my afternoon leaf shadenfreude entertainment I started watching leaf lunch on tsn with some nobody named Brian Hayes, the annoying as fuck Jamie McLennan and the somewhat likeable, funny O-Dog, Jeff O'Neil. O'Neil is an unabashed leaf fan and I'm okay with that as he grew up there and played for them. He tells some funny stories and he's been trashing the leafs a lot lately, specifically phat Phil. Anyway, what they have been talking about the last week is what all the leafools are looking forward to which is a very, very slight chance to draft Conner McDavid, which according to Hayes would be the greatest sporting event of his life living in the city of Toronto. Wow, that's setting the bar pretty low in my estimation. That's what these people have to look forward to these days. Makes Habs fans problems like eMpTy and wee Davey pretty insignificant I'd say.
Just as an aside I know I was pumped at the chance Montreal had to get Sidney Crosby after the lockout so things were bad for us one time as well. Unfortunately, I should have known there was no fucking way Buttman was going to let that happen. That draft had to be rigged to insure an American team would get Sid, just like there's no way McDavid is going to Edmonton. I'd call Buttman's pet project Arizona as McDavid's most likely destination.
I may go to the Sea Dogs game tonight, so I might go dark on the blog tonight. Speaking of dark, Steve is among the missing, is his new job with the Man and he can't talk on the internet anymore?
"Parenteau has been cleared to play, but he won't be in uniform tonight." -Therrien "Even with Gonchar back tonight, we're going to keep Beaulieu paired with Gilbert." -Therrien
"For Smith-Pelly it was nice to see some familiar faces in the locker room when he joined the Canadiens this week. And his first game at the Bell Centre in a bleu-blanc-rouge uniform Saturday night against Toronto will be a special one. He grew up in Toronto with a family full of Maple Leafs fans.
“I heard from my parents and they’re super excited that I’m playing for a Canadian team and close to home and my grandparents are just as excited,” Smith-Pelly said during a conference call after Tuesday’s trade. “They’re now all Montreal Canadiens fans … and I don’t think they have a problem with that.”"
I wonder if this will get mentioned tonight on hnic or by the old crotch? Naaaaahhhhhhh.......
Let them all go fuck themselves, they have nothing to look forward to, no joy, no hope, just their team and all the leaf shit will look good on their faces for years to come. Now Go Habs Go! and wipe the ice with those bleu and with mops.
Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!!!
I am watching the game tonight on Premier sports - the PPP service that they have in the UK...streaming it on the Internet for free...hockey night in Canada feed but no intermission bullshit. I had to laugh when they talked about eh "leaf brain trust returning to Toronto tonight to work out what they can beforre the deadline"...what brain trust exactly? Did I mss something's has this "brain trust" just spent 26 million dollars on a player who will never play a game for them?
Why does every sports show refer to the Habs and leaf as rivalry? They aren't the Habs rivals- the leaf are the kid brother your parents force you to play with and tag along, in this case the parents are the NHL.
I am pretty sure I just heard whoever it is that does the. Olof with Hughson say that there wasn't much of a rivalry between the "Marlies nd the Canadiens"...or M I just drunk...
Hey...shots on goal 22-11 -wake the fuck up Guys! Seriously...11 fucking shots in 2 periods is pretty fuck maple leaf of you...and when I say maple leaf I mean - pretty fucking useless...I know they have a 2 goal lead...but hat 2 goal lead is the most dangerous lead in the game. One bullshit goal by the leaf at the beginnings the third and suddenly I could all go really fucking wrong...SO WAKE THE FUCK UP,,
Strange, over at the Rags Philthy game, McSplooge commenting on the philthy pp and says the rags are eliminating their attemps at a drop pass, the same thing the Habs were doing vs Detroit and that teams are starting to copy the Habs now.
Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!!!
I'm just gona put this out there for discussion...the Habs are winning 3-0...but they are playing like shit. That was the worst 4 minute power play I have seen in ages...thank god wd are playing the leaf
Any day that starts with news of a Habs win and a leaf loss is a very good day...when the leaf loss was inflicted on them by the Habs, it becomes an even better day. When that loss is a 4-0 shutout at home on a Saturday night in front of a national television audience...it's absolutely amazing! Go Habs go!
Good Morning mes amis! I went to the Sea Dogs game last night and watched moe's Gatineau Olympiques pummel the home team 6-2. Gatineau is a well coached team by none other than WJC gold medal winning coach Benoit Groulx. The one positive, as I was standing in line to get my ticket, a gentleman walked up to me and asked "do you need a ticket?" I replied yes and he handed one to me so I got in free of charge!
On to the Habs --- Aaahhhh, Sweet Victory! I watched this game on PVR delay, I think I'll save it for a while just to listen again to a) all the hnic blowing of Carey price who they finally recognize as a star player and b) all the begrudging dialogue on admitting the Habs are a fucking good team.
And K3X, yes, you heard correctly when Heely said this was a clash between the Canadiens and the Marlies, a not so subtle dig at the inept Toronto hockey organization. Gotta love that.
Up next, the so called Death March through California that derailed the leaf season, I'm betting the Habs will pick up a few points on the trip.
Also, moe mentioned above about dipshit shannon saying that DSiP was not completely happy to be a Hab. Well, he looked pretty happy to me when Scott Oake was interviewing him and his parents looked even happier! Eat shit and die mediots!
Now the blue-and white-haired hodge's excuse for the Habs success is because their healthy, they probably can't hold first place if they get injuries - wow, what a fucking genious. Go fuck yourself for wishing harm befalls the Habs.
More scoring would be nice but let's put that into perspective, the goal differential for the top 10 teams in the league - in descending order from #1 is:
Preds goal differential is +40, Habs +36, Ducks +10, Blues +39, Islanders +26, Rangers and Tampa +40, Detroit +21, Pens +24 and Chicago is +33.
So the largest gap for the Habs and the teams in the top 10 in the league is the difference between 40-36 = a difference of 4 goals
I'm not a stats person but this doesn't seem so bad to me and must mean the team in front of TFS is doing their jobs too?
Hell of a game. Had to watch on delay as me and Mrs Pad were busy binging House of Cards. Finished it up this morning. Not bad, but not as good as the first 2 seasons IMHO. Lots of people haven't watched it yet, so I'll leave it at that.
Thought it was interesting how the leafool coverage changed last night. Nobody with a smidgen of intelligence ever bought what they were selling about their putrid leaf anyway but now they realize there's no point in even trying. That's until next season of course after the leaf first win then cue the parade planners. But for the rest of this season we're spared, thank the Lord. It was a sploogefest over Carey last night. Heh.
Kate, I'm re-watCHing (on TVA) the game as I type this and of course Sip! When I do so I try to focus on a specific player and today it is Plaid (aka Pateryn, a leaf draft pick for added sCHadenfreude, Sip!). He is a Georges-type player. Stay at home. Clear the crease. Rub them out along the boards player.
I don't think we will be spared Moey. The combined networked cockroaches are going to goose our gobs with McDavid and rebuild and 24/7 leaf shit. It is amazing our livers can take this muCH. <--Sip!
Regarding the game and the coverage of said game. I must get some perverted pleasure out of listening to those sick mediot fucks. It's fucking terrible the way they suck off everything leaf and choke while trying to say something positive about the Habs, especially anything beyond Price. I'll give Kypreos some credit as he called out people that were praising Nonis for the Clarkson trade (noting he is the same guy that signed him to that ludicrous deal). Bottom line is that all of these on air personalities are just fucking leeches...the TMZ of the hockey world. They have no more fucking inside information than you or I. Their predictions are guesses just like you or I would make and usually less accurate. So I take them for what they're worth. Nothing. Sometimes entertaining, if even just in how they try to make everything about the wretched leaf. Connor McDavid is a supposed generational talent - dog help him if he ends up in that shithole. Of course, according to Crotch, they're gonna be gold in 3 years. "Remember 3 years ago - nobody was laughing at the leafs then!" - Anybody hear that? WTF is he talking about...we've been laughing for 48 years and counting. We should embrace the leaf for bringing such joy to our meager lives.
I got a feeling if MB makes another trade, it's gonna be a biggy and be with the Oil. But as we all know, nobody knows what MB is thinking, except MB. If he's not GM of the year this year, the league is truly a piece of crap. Yeah, it'll probably go to Nonis for 'that' trade.
I think crotch desperate as he is, is desperate to remind folks and kids that his cufflink leaf were in the (shortened-season) playoffs and nobody laughed at them then, until the last 10 minutes of their epic collapse. Don't worry crotch, I'll never forget and fuck you because I am still laughing, especially at how your fucking sick network made sure to force-feed that epic run like it was some kind of playoff miracle, until the last 10 minutes of their epic collapse. Eat shit and die.
Congrats again, to TFS for star of the month always a star in FHF hearts. Suck it mediots - you got nada.
SECOND STAR – CAREY PRICE, G, MONTREAL CANADIENS
Carey Price
CAREY PRICE GOALIE - MTL RECORD: 36-11-3 GAA: 1.88 | SVP: .936 Price went 9-1-1 with a 1.34 goals-against average, .949 save percentage and two shutouts in 11 appearances to backstop the Canadiens (41-16-5, 87 points) to a 9-3-2 February and first place in the Eastern Conference. He yielded two or fewer goals in each of his last 10 starts of the month, highlighted by shutout wins over the Detroit Red Wings Feb. 16 (25 SV) and Toronto Maple Leafs Feb. 28 (30 SV). Price also extended his franchise-record road winning streak to 10 games, becoming the first goaltender to achieve that feat for any team since Evgeni Nabokov in 2009-10 (11-0-0 w/ SJS). The 27-year-old Anahim Lake, B.C., native has appeared in 50 games this season, leading the NHL in wins (36), goals-against average (1.88) and save percentage (.936) while sharing second in shutouts (6). Price’s 36 victories are two shy of his career high, established in 72 games in 2010-11.
WatCHed it last night. Our Habs have so many well-spoken and high IQ players. Be it the younger like DLR, the Gallys or savvy still young Hab vets like PatCHes, TFS™ and PFK! to grizzled hockey men like PleXXXe, M&M, GonCH and Vodkov (amongst others). We are blessed FHFers and I never use the proverbial 'We'. There is a new generation of CH leaders to enjoy. They are classy, intelligent and respectful on (and off) air, on and off-ice. I believe it comes from top down, as high up as the clouds that are home to the Rockets and Beliveaus and Pollacks and all the great Habs, to Trevor Timmins who I believe is the arCHitect when it comes to drafting Character people/players, to, of course DGMB and his team. Something happened when Mr. Geoff Molson took over our team and I rarely use the proverbial 'our'. Nothing is guaranteed but we are experiencing a resurgence of what is good about hockey and great about the Montreal Canadiens. It is fucking FHFun!
Well, I'm back at work. The crying has turned into more of a soft whimper at this point. 36 goddamn hours to get home. I slept for 13 hours last night, my bed was so comfy.
I watched the Habs leaf game on the bus back from the airport. Woohoo!
I see it took Jagr 10 minutes to score his first goal for FLO. Possible first round match up. TB is fading.
Ah fuck, Leonard Nimoy died?
Now to catch up with the rest of life and to get work done. Work. Oh, the crying has turned to full on balling again.
Just thought I'd chime in here and point out a few things:
1) The reason the old Crotch said nobody was laffing at the laffs two years go was 'cuz they had Colton Orr and Frazer McLaren running around intimidating people. Truculence, don't you know, wins games.
2) It was hugeshit that called Princess Pylon a pinata, because people like to beat on him. Heely referred to the leaf as the Marlies.
3) The effusive praise heaped on the Habs last night by the hnic crew was a bit unsettling, I actually didn't like it because it sounded so phoney and bizarro world.
Lots of trades today, the latest is our old pal Eric Cole off to Detroit. I'm undecided if GMMB will pull the trigger on a deal or not. I think he'd like to get another scorer but I don't think he wants to trade his 1st round pick. The Rags and Hawks are definitely going all in, neither has a 1st round pick for 2015 or 2016 and their 2nd rounders may be gone as well. That's not MB's game. I don't think he needs to do a thing, he's got a hot goaltender and enough depth on D to take a run as is.
Oh, I agree with moe, this team is special, there's something in the air right now about them.
1. Didn't some BUF player fake a golf swing in front of the leaf bench when the leaf still had those two crotch-smelling lunkheads? 2. I read the word marleafs today and I'm still chuckling. 3. I liked it because it sounded so phoney and bizarro because that is what is. Sick fake fucks.
The beauty of the leaf losing so many games on the road is that it gives ALL those leaf fans in ALL those other arenas something to enjoy and realize and that is what pure shit their team is.
Ovie hit Holzer and sent him to the dressing room, shit keeps falling on this bunch of losers and I'm lovin' it.
That being said, I wouldn't touch phat Phil with a 30 foot pole, but I'd take JVR in a New York second. He's fixable. Put him on the left with PleXXXe and gCHuk on the right and look out.
Pre-game read, well worth the time:
ReplyDeleteReally, really enjoyed reading this piece on our GMMB or DGMB whichever you prefer.

Live Long and Prosper Habs Fans!!
Great read that'll make leafool heads explode.
DeleteUnfortunately the leafools won't take the time to read this, they are still cheering the fact their genius GM swapped a non producing, washed up cap eating winger for a crippled one that ml$e can spend $26 million on the next 5 years but hide in their "debit" column. DeleteI cried in the theatre when he died - I think it was Wrath of Kahn? and he said 'the needs of the many out-weigh the needs of the few..." so sad.
DeleteI know I shouldn't admit this but since I can't listen to the two idiots Kypreos and Maclean anymore, for my afternoon leaf shadenfreude entertainment I started watching leaf lunch on tsn with some nobody named Brian Hayes, the annoying as fuck Jamie McLennan and the somewhat likeable, funny O-Dog, Jeff O'Neil. ReplyDeleteJust as an aside I know I was pumped at the chance Montreal had to get Sidney Crosby after the lockout so things were bad for us one time as well. Unfortunately, I should have known there was no fucking way Buttman was going to let that happen. That draft had to be rigged to insure an American team would get Sid, just like there's no way McDavid is going to Edmonton. I'd call Buttman's pet project Arizona as McDavid's most likely destination.

When I do so I try to focus on a specific player and today it is Plaid (aka Pateryn, a leaf draft pick for added sCHadenfreude, Sip!). He is a Georges-type player. Stay at home. Clear the crease. Rub them out along the boards player.
DeleteI don't think we will be spared Moey. The combined networked cockroaches are going to goose our gobs with McDavid and rebuild and 24/7 leaf shit. It is amazing our livers can take this muCH. <--Sip!
DeleteTrue moe. What was I thinking? Sip. Just because.
DeleteRegarding the game and the coverage of said game.
ReplyDeleteI got a feeling if MB makes another trade, it's gonna be a biggy and be with the Oil.
DeleteYeah!
DeleteI heard Cherry say that too! They really don't have a clue in their white and blue fucked up world.
ReplyDeleteIts almost like tough guy crotch is CHallenging true and knowledgeable hockey fans to not laugh at is leaf. (you know what to do).
DeleteSip sip sip!
ReplyDelete♥ CH ♥ CH ♥ CH ♥
DeleteCongrats again, to TFS for star of the month always a star in FHF hearts. Suck it mediots - you got nada.
ReplyDeleteSECOND STAR – CAREY PRICE, G, MONTREAL CANADIENS
Carey Price
CAREY PRICE
GOALIE - MTL
RECORD: 36-11-3
GAA: 1.88 | SVP: .936
Price went 9-1-1 with a 1.34 goals-against average, .949 save percentage and two shutouts in 11 appearances to backstop the Canadiens (41-16-5, 87 points) to a 9-3-2 February and first place in the Eastern Conference.
TFS on RDS's A/C

DeleteAmen moe!
DeleteWell, I'm back at work. The crying has turned into more of a soft whimper at this point. 36 goddamn hours to get home. I slept for 13 hours last night, my bed was so comfy.
ReplyDeleteI watched the Habs leaf game on the bus back from the airport. Woohoo!
I see it took Jagr 10 minutes to score his first goal for FLO. Possible first round match up. TB is fading.
Ah fuck, Leonard Nimoy died?
Now to catch up with the rest of life and to get work done. Work. Oh, the crying has turned to full on balling again.
Erik Cole traded to Red Wings.
ReplyDeleteFond memories of high-fiving the ref.
ReplyDeleteThat was a funny moment.
DeleteJust thought I'd chime in here and point out a few things:
ReplyDelete1) The reason the old Crotch said nobody was laffing at the laffs two years go was 'cuz they had Colton Orr and Frazer McLaren running around intimidating people.
Delete2.
ReplyDeleteLosing again tonight in D.C.
DeleteOvie hit Holzer and sent him to the dressing room, shit keeps falling on this bunch of losers and I'm lovin' it.
That being said, I wouldn't touch phat Phil with a 30 foot pole, but I'd take JVR in a New York second. He's fixable. Put him on the left with PleXXXe and gCHuk on the right and look out.
Plus he knows PatCHes.
DeleteWe enjoy ripping the idiocy of insidredger and it looks like fake insidredger scoops are the fun thing to do. Hilarious.
ReplyDeleteHoly fuck, teams are throwing their 1st and 2nd round picks away like used candy bar wrappers.
ReplyDeleteStand your ground MB, don't throw your picks away in a deep draft.
