I'm back! *crickets*. Okay, never mind. Everyone have s nice summer? Are we ready to go to the promised land? Fuck yes!
ReplyDelete*looks*, still got tan lines!
Deletea nice summer. Sheesh, some things never change. 😞
ReplyDeleteKate!
DeleteNice work, moeman.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Moey!
Thx jucey!
DeleteCube has hung up his skates.
ReplyDeleteHe'll also be a member of the board of directors of the team's alumni association.
DeleteThe Kane rape kit was never a bag, it was a box.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sexy Friday everyone! Good to see Moey and 29 back after a beautiful summer, which is kind of continuing down here.
ReplyDelete“If you don’t know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else.”
G Y F H G!!!!!
Cool but still nice here.
Deletethe M. does the cooler weather affect your golf score?
Re: golf score---- not as yet. When the temperature gets below 15c or so, the ball won't travel as far when hit, so you have to adjust what club you hit, e.g. a 7 iron normally goes 150 yds so you might have to go to a 6 when it gets cooler. To score really well you need a good short game and make some putts. I played Mon.-Thurs and shot 92,92,88,87. The short game was off and putting was so-so, there were some tough pins to get at and they have started thatching the greens so the putting surface is not smooth. We usually just take an automatic two putt on those.
DeleteCool info the M., pun slightly intended. 'automatic two putt' should be a nickname.
DeleteHey its Friday and I got the dirt on the right side today. Hockey, we are going to do some damage just like Sexy Friday does to the old eyeballs
ReplyDeleteNice tribute to Cube.
ReplyDeleteGYMFHG!
ReplyDeleteBon vendredi sexxxy mes ami(e)s! And the amies includes Moey yay! Fine work moe
ReplyDeleteMan I totally had forgotten the Mike Keane captaincy
I do not like coming home and turning on the gamer to see les boys down 3-0 in the 1st. Even if it is the pre-season
ReplyDeleteWhat'd I miss?
Looking closer at the SF pics and that #8 is staring into my soul. I'm mesmerized
ReplyDeleteLooking closer at the captains list, I swear I never heard of Sprague Cleghorn, Frankly it sounds made up.
ReplyDeleteFrom wikipedia:
DeleteIn a 1923 playoff series, against his former team, the Ottawa Senators (who he had grown to despise), Cleghorn struck Ottawa Senators defenceman Lionel Hitchman in the head with his stick. Later charged with aggravated assault, he was found guilty and fined $50. The incident also enraged Canadiens owner, Leo Dandurand, who suspended him from the roster for the remainder of the playoffs. In a separate incident versus the Senators in 1922, he initiated a brawl during which he injured three players: Eddie Gerard, Frank Nighbor and Cy Denneny. This led to an attempt by the Ottawa management to expel him from the league
I love this guy! Career criminal!
More:
DeleteRespected by his teammates and hated by his opponents, Cleghorn frequently used his stick as a weapon and was routinely among his team's leaders in both goals and penalty minutes. He claimed to have been involved in at least 50 incidents during his career in which a player left the ice on a stretcher
This guy should be an ESPN 30 for 30
Image what fits Murray and coach Creepy would have ayiyiyi!
DeleteJust saw the 1st period highlights, and I did not realize TFS was in goal. None of them were his fault, but yeesh
ReplyDeleteKassian! Whoever he is!
ReplyDeleteKassian!
ReplyDeleteugh that was ugly
ReplyDeleteI guess they'll switch to Fucale soon, or maybe TFS plays the whole 60.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the PP is back to 'normal'
ReplyDeleteWonder if Garbagebutt will face DOP for that hit in the numbers on Johnston.
ReplyDeleteNow Dumont taken to the quiet room too after being hit by Desousa. Gregoire went after him for that. Good news Johnston is back now. Desousa gets 5 min major for boarding.
ReplyDelete3 Mon PP with just over 3 to go.
ReplyDeleteTFS pulled, 6 on 4 and they couldn't even set up and they get an EN. Yep, the PP is back to 'normal'.
ReplyDeleteFIRE THERRIEN!!!!!!!
DeleteWait, is it too early??????
You outdid yourself this week Moeman - great ones all 'round...and Elvis! I havent much been following the preseason yet - picked up the highlights on HIO but I never really worry much as there is a lot of "experimenting" going on.
ReplyDeleteLots of leaf blowing tonight....
ReplyDeletePre-season or not, the Habs need to whip their fucking asses tonight.
ReplyDeleteGYMFHG!
Absolutely!!!...And ALWAYS! Go You Fucking Habs GO!
DeleteMike Condon is expected to play tonight's entire game in Toronto. #Gohabsgo
ReplyDeleteHe looked pretty good last game.
Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin announced Saturday that 17 players have been reassigned to the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League.
ReplyDeleteThe following players have been assigned to St. John’s (* injured player):
Mac Bennett, Tim Bozon, Connor Crisp, Stefan Fournier, Dalton Thrower, Travis Brown, Edward Pasquale, Nicolas Blanchard, Angelo Miceli, Jamal Watson, Zachary Fucale, Ryan Johnston, Brett Lernout, Mark MacMillan (*), Brandon McNally (*), Markus Eisenschmid (*) et Josiah Didier (*).
There are still 40 players at camp (24 forwards, 13 defensemen, 3 goaltenders).
The IceCaps will travel to Newfoundland on September 27 to continue their training camp. They will play three games vs the Toronto Marlies on October 1, 2 and 4.
Go kick their asses, boys!
Female Reporters Threatened With Violence For Reporting On Patrick Kane Allegations
ReplyDeleteThe use of violent language to intimidate DiCaro is emblematic of the “rape culture” on which DiCaro was reporting -- a culture in which victims are treated as the offenders, and assaulters are allowed to slide. DiCaro is herself a victim of rape, as she has written about for The Huffington Post.

Referees: Jean Hebert, Ghislain Hebert
ReplyDeleteWonder if they are brothers? If so there should be a rule against it.
Anyone notice the 1st penalty of the game, I know it was a Hab but the boxscores aren't showing it at all.
ReplyDeleteIt was Dietz - interference, updated minutes after the 1st period ended, took them long enough.
DeleteNot the worst period I have ever seen the Habs play - Condon looks good - great movement side to side...fleishman should stay. the PP looked shit again and ddd was there to ensure fuck all happened on it - which is disappointing but sadly not surprising...
ReplyDelete+51
DeleteCHip!
ReplyDeleteChip opens the scoring - great feed from ddd
ReplyDeleteMaybe they\ll cash this one.
ReplyDeleteDDD 'do I shoot or do I pass'? geez
ReplyDeleteAucun tir au but on that PP - and ddd played most of it - so again - disappointing but not surprising
ReplyDeleteIf Barberio makes the team we shall call him Hanna
ReplyDeleteyabba dabba doo
Deleteflintstine thinking Kmax
Delete3 on 3 OT tonight, unless there's penalties.
ReplyDeleteGYMFHG!
ReplyDeleteFucking Leo the liar dove right into Condon.
ReplyDeleteC'mon boys, cash it.
ReplyDeleteReally like Condon.
ReplyDeleteReimer hit McCarron with his stick - fuck you.
ReplyDeleteJesus Christ! How many fucking times are they going to try to injur Condon??
ReplyDeleteSo, it ends 1-0 after 3 for the Habs but still goes to OT, is it a victory for the Habs if the leaf tie it or not?
ReplyDeleteGardiner holds CHip's stick, not call.
ReplyDeleteOfficially, it's 1-0 Habs.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, the Condom didn't fail.
Heh, heh, good one juce. He's made of good rubber.
DeleteI left after the 2nd - and I don't care how many rookies both teams dressed last night - any time a Habs leaf games finishes in a shut out to the Habs I am a happy Hans fan!!
ReplyDeleteSo, the Habs have a fleshman, some Jizz and a condom on the team. Sounds like a cheap porn movie to me.
ReplyDeleteack we need to call one of the new guy pornstash
DeleteWE need Parros back. He had a great pornstache.
Delete
ReplyDeleteTomorrow's lineup in QC and who's been sent down.
Holloway, Thomas, Dumont and Ellis must clear NHL waivers.
http://canadiens.nhl.com/club/blogpost.htm?id=41509
I am surprised that McCarron is gone...I liked his game. Maybe a first recall sitiuation...
ReplyDeleteI thought so too.
Deleteonly one rookie makes the team, Hudun
DeleteCondom might push Tokarski out.
DeleteSupermoon eclipse is pretty cool, pretty much completely in shadow at this moment.
ReplyDeletePerfect view from the front porch last night. Won't happen for another 18 years. There's got to be at least 5-6 Stanleys by the time 2033 arrives. Maybe a couple of numbers to the rafters.
DeleteHope we're still around to see it.... and the other stuff you mentioned. :-)
DeleteAngelo Miceli signed to the Ice Caps on a 2-way
ReplyDeleteDo we really need another 5.10 Centerman? I don't know anything about him but I'm guessing not...
DeleteGonchar in the lineup tonight.
ReplyDeleteDoes he still play for the Habs? I thought he retired??
DeleteHe's on a PTO with the flightless birds.
DeleteThey messed up the headline over at nhl.com
ReplyDeleteIt reads "Senators aim to pick up where historic rally left off".
It should read "Senators look to rebound after being Hamburgled by wrists of Stone"
I think i hate the turds more than the wretched leaf. The leaf are just a sad effing franchise.
As pathetic as the leaf are, the simple fact that the SFU crams them down our hockey gullets keeps my hate level way up. The sens are a nuisance.
DeleteHow long before MT does something that makes every Hab fan lose their stuff
ReplyDeleteIce on Mars. Send the leaf to play the Martians.
ReplyDeleteSpecial pre-season treat for you kids!
