After watCHing some games on tva, I have an even greater appreciation for RDS, they are more professional calling the games...yes they love les gars de chez nous as does tva but on a lessor kiss-ass level. Pierre Houde is all class in my book.
I'm interest to know why KidA's penalty did not last the entire 4 mins, I think it has something to do with the Canucks scoring at exactly the 2 min mark of the penalty.

DDD, my unwavering support of him rewarded. I hope Lego finaly gets his shise together. Bricks to the dicks attacking innocent Muslims, in some ways worse than ISIS cause they should know better, Brad Wahl and Jason Kenny your leading the pack. Kudos to Justin for charming the world. More face time with Obama in the first four weeks than the other guy in 9 years. Chinese Premier welcoming him like a son.
After finally finishing (for the most part) a big research proposal last night/this morning and a day full of classes and meetings I was looking forward to getting home, ordering some McD's (don't judge me) and having a couple of beers while watching the game on replay.
Got home, internet wasn't working again, took 2 hours to figure it out. McD's delivery site (yes, they delivery in Asia) was down, had to run out for some local food instead, then the start of the game just dampered my mood more. But the boys decided to play all of a sudden and pulled me back from the edges!
Am I the only one who holds his breath every time the puck goes near the Habs' goal now? Not all Condom's fault, but the seal has been broken. But man, the Habs are really good when they decide to be.
After reading the comments: Good job juce for keeping this place alive! I do sometimes have the opportunity to watch live, but this season the guys have lost every single time I've done that (Western trip, Pens game). So I'm taking one for the team by sleeping in where available.
"Jonathan Bernier on his tough outing in NYC: "It wasn't Game 7 of the playoffs. Thank God." The Toronto Maple Leafs goalie conceded he'll likely be sitting in favor of James Reimer "for a little while,"
What an insult to your own teammate, I don't think Reimer would ever stoop to that level. Blame also goes to the leaf organization for all the fucking annointing Bernier as a #1 since they brought him in when he is only fit tor the AHL.
Bab cock said the net would be 'earned' yet he always gave it to Mandela even though he has zero wins or points and only gave Reimer a string of games because Mandela was injured. So he is either a liar (his 'Canada's team' confirmed that) or leaf management is just as dysfunctional as they've always been, I could say both hold true.
You beat me to it juce. Their scouts obviously aren't looking too closely at these people. I have no use for men who assault women no matter how much they are provoked. Walk away.
30 teams in the NHL, almost at the ¼ point, lots of teams, lots of players, lots of stories, yet the SFU is stuck talking about two backup goalies on their leaf. It'll never, ever, get better.
I just wanted to comment on the play of DDD. I was the first to complain about his role as the first line center on the Habs. I never denied he had the talent to play, he lacked the physical attributes to play that role. That being said, he is playing outstanding hockey of late and congrats to him for getting the much needed spirit lifting GWG last night.
I don't pretend to be a coach but my two cents would be to put Semin with Max and Plex and if that doesn't wake him up, then it's time to cut bait. Plus KidA makes everybody better with his relentless play. Bring up Ghetto or Stumpy II or maybe Hudon for a trial run and for God's sake find a new home for TinTin, it's not fair for him to rot in the pressbox.
There, no mention of the SFUckers or their putrid leaf. Oops!
I stopped watching the Habs game against the Avs after the first period - they looked terrible. So with the leaf beating the Avs handily last night - just how bad must the Habs have been for the rest of that game!? I sense the momentum in tranna is building for their seasonal Stanley Cup parade. Sure glad I don't live around them parts no more!!
While in Montreal, he was a top-line winger and achieved his greatest personal heights in the 1954-55 and 1955-56 seasons. In both years, Olmstead led the NHL in assists, including a record-setting 56-assist season in 1955-56. Olmstead held onto the record for five seasons before it was broken in 1960-61 by then-former teammate Beliveau, who notched 58 helpers to take the record from Olmstead. As a Canadien, Olmstead helped Montreal to four Stanley Cups, including a remarkable run of three straight from 1956 to 1958. Olmstead would move on from the Canadiens in 1958.
Just wanted to tag on to the Maritimer's comment about DDD. I, like you, have been critical of him for a while, but always said he just wasn't playing the role he was meant to, often at the expense of others. I have said many times that both MT and DDD needed to be separated in order for both to succeed. Obviously I'm glad the right thing has finally been done, and it's clear that both guys are benefiting from it. BUT, I still get the feeling that one little excuse is all it's going to take to get DDD back on that first line. It's not just the effect on the scoresheet, you have to wonder what that kind of favourism does in the locker room.
Anyway, the point is DDD on the 3rd line was always the solution, so I'm not ready to celebrate MT for finally doing something so obvious. Sort of like how the PP works now because it's not so one-note and predictable. No one gets congratulated for fixing something that was obviously broken for 2 or 3 years. Not to say that I'm not happy about the success, though.
I wanted to rag on the Rags so I was going to bring up the fact that they've played most of their games at home against pretty weak teams so far. But then I decided to go through their schedule and realized their longest roadtrip of the season is a whopping....three games! And two of those times include teams like NJ and NYI, so not really roadtrips. Must be nice!
Just for perspective, MTL has a few 3-gamers, too and their opening 4 game trip in Oct was longer than anything NY will have to do this year. Then they have an 8 game monster that includes the outdoor game around the new year.
Unrelated (I'm bored tonight), in December the Kings will play 10/11 games on the road. They've in the midst of a 5 game trip right now, and have another 7 game trip in February. I guess not everyone can be as lucky as the Rangers.

Great re-signing by shannie and louie. He should grow facial hair in protest.
