Chester8:22 AM We're all gonna die. Beaten by the BJ's. There is a lot of hockey left. Will something be done? Or will we just see it through. At some point somebody has to get pissed and overreact. Hopefully Go Habs
I want to write "I just don't care anymore" but I am first, foremost and forever a Habs fan so I cannot. I am pissed off, dissolutioned, disappointed and disgusted but I can never say that I don't care. For the love of all that is holy JUST FUCKING WIN!
In case you missed it last thread: Surprise surprise, the Habs are the headline at TSN! But what I discovered when I went to that page was that the Habs had a hat trick scored on them by that kid that sees dead people. http://tinypic.com/r/2cgh5dy/9
Could 29 take a sign to the game that says "IF GALCHENYUK DOESN'T SCORE, 3 PUPPIES WILL DIE".
I did hear one announcer refer to last night as a "three dog night"...gotta admit that's pretty good.
Sounds like CHarger might be on the market. If MB could trade Scrivens for him, it would be like that whole thing never happened. Guess they don't need a washed up goalie though...
What I saw last night was evident from the first period: the team knows, but isn't allowed to admit, that TFS is out for the season. The Habs are mailing it in for the remainder of the season. No hitting, no heart; like they are searching for something to care about on the ice.
I said that back when they announced he (Price) would be out for two months, he was done for the year. He should just get it fixed and rehab until this September. As I've mentioned before I've not watched many games since before Christmas but they are a soft, heartless bunch. Time to sell and rebuild. Again.
I will never accept that any professional hockey player who wears the CH would be content to just "play out a season"...but I am a dreamer and a proudly deluded Habs fan...what the fuck do I know about anything!
Something you'll never hear from the SFU when they're handing out their 'Sign Stamkos' signs pre games which are handed out the the station that owns the leaf, aka tampering.
"Tax tricks: How an $8.5M Lightning contract keeping Steven Stamkos in Tampa is better than $10.5M to leave"
The honeymoon is over after just 6 months, PKP and Julie Snyder are getting divorced. I guess he wanted to show his voters how quickly you can separate.
You know hockey is a game of emotion. Good emotion bad emotion lots of emotion little emotion. On any one day a team playing with emotion can defeat a team with little emotion regardless of talent level. I don't see any emotion in our boys. They take every defeat in a mature manner and accept it and move on. I don't think Saint Patrick would have adjusted so well. I just don't get it Go Habs
So here we sit in 2016 no futher ahead than 2014. Its pretty clear I coudl have coached this team with TFS and had a stellar recorcd. So the illusion has cost us three years. I am all tank tank tank, we need one more hockey player and we cant develop a polariod picture.
The thing that grates at my soul like learning everthing in life is a lie, is the Tin Tin. How did this happen? Can the stain ever be erased or are we forever going to be remembered as a bad comic strip with great graphic? No thats not fair at all TinTin was brilliant everywhere.
This is a bad hockey team. Or poorly coached. Or both. If MB sticks to his guns and changes nothing, it's hard to imagine Mr. Molson being OK with the results.

The only other co-explanation is that once the team started to sink in December, the memo went out that since Price wasn't coming back that management wanted them to tank. Hence, the Scott trade which assured MB the Habs would get a top 2 pick if they're a lottery team. And hence guys like Carr being sent down.
Again, I have no other explanation. I can't accept that these are pro athletes, men with any modicum of honour or dignity, playing their hardest. I just can't accept that. I have accepted that they're terrible and there's very little skill on the team, but come on.

ReplyDelete2 guys were screaming "call up John Scott". That was good
