Go you fucking Habs Go! My uncle - a lifelong Habs fan from Gresnfield Park had a hip op this week. He is well into his 80's and it was pretty touch and go as to whether he would make it through. My cousin reported that yesterday he had improved enough to watch the baseball. So I sent him a note saying that if watching the fucking jays cheers him up imagine how much better he's gonna feel tonight watching the Habs pound the Sens. For some reason my cousin failed to see the sentiment - he's a Sens fan...big GYFHG for my Uncle Ralph!
Btw...i concur that if TFS is taking antibiotics he has got something other than the flu. But the Habs management lies to our face every day so why should we expect anything different.
I have a plan B Amerigeddon. Its and Alex Jones, Chuck Norris son production about a New World ORder attack on Mercica. Our possesion in that period could not get us busted in Saskatwon. Jaws ishe playing, superplexxe hello, CHe good, BBQ good, the rest Meh.
BBQ missed the net at least 3 times (everyone says he doesn't miss the net) on the same PP shift, though he did clear the puck OUT of the net after the senaturds 1st goal.
I was so meh about this game, i didn't have it in me to even open my laptop to comment during it. Now that it's over, still meh. Like moe says take the loser point and move on. Some positives would be Dish on the PP with a couple of rockets, and I liked the play of CHé hard in the corners, shoot first mentality, but he's a bit slow. Not really a Russian rocket, more like Sputnik, doing his best but his speed tops out at a slow steady orbit. And Inigo once again with a great game (except the first goal). And Jaws with his first victim. Obvious negatives (let' face it - the first 35 minutes was one big clusterfuck) - Patches gave away the puck twice in the last minute, got it back and then unnecessarily iced it. And I don't blame MT for putting DDD in the shootout - he actually had a few good ones last year, but FFS /facepalm. As Steve said, the drop pass in the shootout. Brilliant.
I'm not complaining about Montoya, but wouldn't it be awesome if we had that Team Canada goalie? What was his name? Price or something? Man, he'd look good in a Habs jersey. Could you imagine?
I'm not going to complain about DDD going out for the SO. Arpon Basu sent out the stats showing DDD's the best SO scorer in Habs history (though he has many, many more attempts than even Koivu or AK27). But do we really believe MT was going on actual stats? If that's the case, why was DD out for the PP all last season? Or on the top line. So I can't really complain about DD's SO use, but it's still indicative of the fact that MT is still in charge and nothing has really changed.
Anybody watch the leaf love fest last night on hnit? I watched on pvr on fast forward. Felt like I'd been stabbed in the eyes. They finally had the brilliant idea of retiring the sweaters of their greats. Wonder what took them so long?
Hey I just noticed this on my calendar. Happy Suckit to 29 and the rest of the Jewish faith. Is that right? Not blasphemous in any way is it? I kid, enjoy feasting in your homemade suckah. Seems a bit like camping. I don't know...that's what wiki tells me.
I don't have a parody in me right now, but this screams for one for Badfinger's Day After Day (maybe it should be Badknee's Day to Day). The first line alone is "I remember finding out about you" (i.e. we're onto you and your wonky knee Carey).
It was mentioned that Bargain Bin was at the Col/Dal game earlier this week watching... somebody. Why would he bother when they already have Sean Burke scouting western teams? I'll take a guess and say it's either Matt Duchene or one of Dallas' high paid goalies -- Lehtonen or Niemi. I'll say a goalie, 'cause Price is done. I don't believe one fucking word that comes out of emptyfuckinghead's mouth.
They're all aboard the Habs PR's train, rah, rah. The only one who might is Melnick. Listen around the 9:40 mark when he asks MB if he understood why fans question if MT is devoted to talented players and whether gCHyuk would ever had been put at centre if DDD wasn't injured last season. 'You don't know what you don't know'.
Glad we did not lose Ghetto. His now in the rock hood.

ReplyDeleteMT will once again run this team down putting his chou-chou above all others. Kinda of like the GM and his 'coach'.

ReplyDeletegCHyuk already off the top line?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Leko on his 1st NHL goal!
ReplyDeletehear hear
Deletesometimes DDD pass first philosphy betrays him, a drop pass on a shoot out.
ReplyDeleteI’d like to point out that DD did not fall down in his shootout attempt.
DeleteLet’s focus on the positives here, folks.
Teething pains. That is all.

One thing we can depend on is the dumbass coach reverting to character. Stubborn fuck.
ReplyDeleteAs usual they are weak up front. Stay home Carey, Big Al's got this.

ReplyDeleteIt not to early to panic, fear the collapse. Who is the number one pick this year?
ReplyDeleteCHicken thrown under the bus, backed up and driven over by Oiliers coach.
ReplyDeleteTFS walking without crutches!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like CHevy is in for Pits and Plaid out of fashion
ReplyDeleteInigo starts tomorrow.

Also do you eat sukkotosh during this feast?
DeleteI am on many cold medications.
So Price still out for the next game. Remember last year when he was "day-to-day" for 6 months?
ReplyDeleteI don't have a parody in me right now, but this screams for one for Badfinger's Day After Day (maybe it should be Badknee's Day to Day). The first line alone is "I remember finding out about you" (i.e. we're onto you and your wonky knee Carey).

DeleteI bet that no reporter has ths balls to put it to Therrein that no one believes TFS has a "real bad cold" and why won't they tell us the truth?
