The problem is all inside your head he said to me
The answer is easy if you take it logically
I'd like to help you in your struggle to stop some pucks
There must be fifty ways to stop those goddam fucks
He said it's really not my habit to intrude
Furthermore, I hope my meaning won't be lost or misconstrued
But I'll repeat myself at the risk of being crude
There must be fifty ways to stop some pucks
Fifty ways to stop those goddam fucks
You just act real scary, Carey
Make a new plan, man
You don't need to be nice, Price
Just get yourself free
Don’t make a mess, TFS
You can always discuss less
Don’t drop to your knee, see
And get yourself free.
He said it grieves me so
To see you in such pain
I wish there was something I could do
To make you smile again
I said I appreciate that
And would you please explain
About the fifty ways
The rest is private."

John Lu: Gallagher had surgery on knuckle of L ring finger, one of 2 damaged in 2015. More pins had to be inserted to augment original surgery.
ReplyDeleteHope they've used Adamantium pins this time around.
DeleteHabs place Chris Terry on waivers.
ReplyDeleteGo you fucking Habs go!
ReplyDeleteGo Seahawks, Texans, Packers and of course Go Steelers!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know who to cheer for. Go Pack I guess and of course I always hope the Pats lose. Sorry, Saint Paddy, it's just not in my in my DNA to cheer for a team from Boston.
DeleteI'm glad to see gCHuk and SSR are back. Just need Vodkov and kidG back now. Get well soon! Also, I hope Price gets his mojo back soon.
Plaid would also be an improvement too.
DeleteHad planned, a few days ago, to make two soups. Made one, roasted curry cauliflower and it s really good.
ReplyDeleteMade the second one today, cabbage roll soup. Threw in a chill pepper for some zing. Only used half a head of cabbage and some homemade chicken broth.
Mondavi Brut (Xmas gift from a Prof).
Was in QC area last weekend and got me some of my Mom's maple sucre à la crème.
Lots of leaf analysis and Price dissection by the SFU...
ReplyDelete9 mins for their team, all gloating
Delete3 for the Sens, all negative
4 for the Habs, all negative
6 on Hayley, mclame suckfest
2 on the ROC, they could care less
So, SFU business as usual.
DeleteHeh, NHL 100th anniversary commercial featuring the games's great. Not a single leaf.
ReplyDeleteSara!
ReplyDeleteSara!!!!
ReplyDeleteDano!
ReplyDeleteDano!
ReplyDeleteFuck off
ReplyDeleteShaw interfered on Raanta, no goal.
ReplyDeleteIt's ridiculous how long they leave broken sticks on the ice. The stick in the Rags' zone is still there even after the play goes to the Habs' end and back to the Rags' end again.
ReplyDeleteShaw 2 mins goalie inteference for pushing a Rag into Raanta and the Rags score.
ReplyDeletePut Montoya in!!
ReplyDeleteMajor for Shaw for interference.
ReplyDelete+10 misconduct, +5 for fighting.
DeleteBet he gets a suspension too.
Delete5 for interference and I don't think there was any contact to the head. Shouldn't get a suspension unless the SFUckers demand it.
DeleteAgree but I think he'll get a call with Quintal.
DeleteI don't like how this is trending.
ReplyDeleteOh! Look at the new leaf nation commercial! Puke!!!
Seahawks sucked (credit to ATL) Go Texans.
ReplyDeleteGoalie change, did Shaw injure Raanta?
ReplyDeletegCHuk!
ReplyDeletegCHyuk!!
ReplyDeleteNow that's how you want to be noticed when you returned.
ReplyDeleteAF better contest that.
ReplyDeleteEasy call, shouldn't be a goal.
ReplyDeleteHow long does it take the blind mice to see TFS was dragged by the Rag skate right out of the net.
ReplyDeleteWow.
ReplyDeleteOh FUCK you, refs!
ReplyDeleteThey're telling AF that TFS was out when contact with him was made.
ReplyDeleteToo fucking funny.
ReplyDeleteAnd there's that putrid fucking leaf commercial again.
Only tva here.
DeleteAuger says it's a judgement call but he would have refused it. Funny how the stripes always support each other.
ReplyDeleteErrol!!!
ReplyDeleteEat it fuckers.
ReplyDeleteOK, the Shaw goalie interference was indeed. Since then I've been tuning in during commercial breaks from football. Did I miss something about his 5 minute interference and game misconduct? The hit looked like a general interference penalty - no head contact. And finally, just tuned back in during that last fiasco. What a fucking laugh! Can they be any more fucking obvious? missed gCHuk's goal but good to see him back.
ReplyDelete7-0 Pats on the way to a 38-13 win.
TFS™ should eat a $25k fine and rip the fucking refs.
ReplyDeleteThey probably didn't like that he said refs aren't protecting the goalies and not calling goalie inteference. These guys took it personally...and they should.
DeleteIn that I mean they should because they are guilty as sin, tonight is the proof in the pudding.
DeleteThen I see above it appear's Flynn scored. I flip over to see if I can catch the replay and it's 2-2? I'm sticking to football.
ReplyDeleteThey'll be lucky if they come out of this with the loser point.
ReplyDeleteThat would appear not to be in Bettman's cards.
DeleteWow, the Rags can hit Errol with a stick in the fingers and take him out of the game but there will be no penalty.
ReplyDeleteCASH IT!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTold ya.
ReplyDeleteIf they want to win they have to put Montoya in.
ReplyDeleteErrol is back.
ReplyDeleteSomething wrong with Price, he hasn't been able to stop a beachball lately.
ReplyDeleteYep. Slower and barely raises his blocker.
DeleteFatherhood.
DeleteIt has been a pretty entertaining game but the refs have severely fucked us tonight. Shaw was pushed into the goalie and the was dragged out of his crease. No way Shaw should have had the misconduct either. Fucking Bush league Buttman strikes again. Habs need to pick it up and the needs to be sharp. The third is going to be interesting. Now go you fucking Habs go!
ReplyDeleteShaw did lean in such a way that he would fall right into Raanta, there seemed to be a bit of a delay between the light push and him falling on Raanta. I'll agree with the interference on that one.
DeleteThe excuse is that contact is made outside of the crease, which is total BS, look at this and you see that the Rag's foot goes INTO the crease behind TFS's pad THEN drags him out.
ReplyDeletehttps://twitter.com/myregularface/status/820443574290370560
The League's excuse doesn't hold any water.
Yep, just like the shaved ape didn't drive PatCHes head into the stanchion. Fucking weird.
DeleteAck! Turnovers. 14-13 Pats. Need a 24-0 run for my prediction...and they're not looking like they have 24 more. I know you guys are real beat up about that :).
ReplyDeleteWell, the Texans got their 13 points. ; )
ReplyDeleteAn NFL game FHF jinx on a Saturday night. That has to be a first.
ReplyDeleteI think the rule is we have to crack a cold one. Harp for me :)
DeleteIPA for me;

CHeers!
Rule 69.1 the goal shall be disallowed if an attacking player initiates intentional or deliberate contact with the goalkeeper, inside or outside his crease.

I hate injustice, go fucking win!
ReplyDeleteHe's too classy but TFS™ should, for many reasons, bail on the ASG.
ReplyDelete(Y)!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI rarely comment or speculate on trades but think DGMB will be making an offer for Duchesne.
ReplyDeleteI can see BigMcM, Ghetto, Beaulieu and a pick going the other way. Not sure if the cap $ is there.
ParCHes!!!!
ReplyDeleteNice! Nice!
ReplyDeleteStill hope for the loser point!
ReplyDeleteNice! Nice! Nice!
ReplyDelete?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFuck you refs!!!!!!
ReplyDelete3 goals in 1:02!
ReplyDelete3 goals in 1:02.
ReplyDeleteAnother jinx!
ReplyDelete:))
DeleteGhetto called for slashing, the refs just couldn't help themselves.
ReplyDeleteThe obnoxious Rags fans in the building are getting razzed at this moment...
ReplyDeleteWin this game and give the game puck to gary gawling.
ReplyDeleteStop the OLE, too soon.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't be singing that fucking ole song....
ReplyDeleteWTF! Tune in at halftime to a 5-3 Habs lead only to see a Rags PP goal!!!
ReplyDeleteOf course it's a good goal, do we expect them to deem otherwise?
ReplyDeleteWow
ReplyDelete"Hang on boys!" ~ 29
ReplyDeleteI was skeptical but stick was below crossbar.
ReplyDeleteTrue, but even if it wasn't the way the refs are they would have allowed it.
DeleteAnother 4 past Price. Maybe Coach Alfred E. should start to worry...
ReplyDelete@moe, re: your trade for Duchene, I think that's too much. I could see N8 and a pick, maybe Pleks has to go to make the cap work. We'll see.
ReplyDeleteI think Sakic will ask for a lot.
DeleteLate game icing, especially by a player like BBQ, confound me.
ReplyDelete2 reasons I hate playing the Rags. 1. Cryder. 2. Reminds me of the horrible Mexicant trade.
ReplyDeleteC'mon boys, go get an EN.
ReplyDeleteEat it you fucking biased refs!
ReplyDeleteStick it, refs, Justice!!
ReplyDeleteSuck it Zebras! FU bettman!
ReplyDeleteSee ya'll Monday afternoon at 15h00.
ReplyDeletePlay hooky!
Heh, don't have to do that no more...
DeleteThey were saying earlier that Lunqvist doesn't like to play at the Bell Centre because of the fans. HAHAHAHAHHA
ReplyDeleteWell, they got the loser point and the winner point too!
ReplyDeleteSakic will ask a lot but MB won't ante up that much for Duchene. He will stand pat at the deadline or pick up some more 5th line dep. I foresee a first round exit at best, if they make it.
Brian Wilde's synopsis:
ReplyDeleteHabs story tonite: resilience
- Shaw goal called back
- Shaw kicked out. 11 Fs
- Price dragged to Moose Jaw. Still a goal
They persevered.
My final comment of the night and I stole it:
ReplyDeleteSuck it Galley ☺
Habs beat the refs, the Rangers, the Toronto NHL asshats, and your whiney colour commentating.
Oh boy, avoid the SFU at all costs, the laff are in a playoff position.
ReplyDeleteDLR called up, Chris Terry sent down to St. John's, guess he cleared waivers.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, free wings.

ReplyDeleteDid I mention Go Packers!
ReplyDelete... and of course GO STEELERS!

ReplyDeleteComedy Central is having a South Park marathon on January 20th.
ReplyDeleteThought I'd check the SFU sites to find some articles of outrage at the terrible non goaltender interference goal from last night. Nada. Nothing. Zilch. In fact the video packs of the game doesn't even show the 'goal' or mention it. There'd be a national inquiry if that had been the Sens doing it to Curtis McIlhanney- "the best waiver pickup I've ever seen - Old Crotch"
ReplyDeleteHeh, Ol' crotch is the bandwagon leader and mclame is his little spinning-wheel gerbil. (I know, theres a Richard Gere urban myth play with your pets thing in there, somewhere)
DeleteKeep Going Packers! (I did it, again)
http://montrealgazette.com/sports/jack-todd-kill-nhl-replay-reviews-and-let-refs-make-calls
ReplyDelete"Not for the first time, a call that clearly came from Toronto went against the Canadiens for no discernible reason except bias on the part of those making the decisions. This is a powder keg waiting to blow. One of these days, an improving Leafs team is going to clash with the Canadiens in the playoffs. With the NHL’s profoundly biased replay structure, a critical call is going to go against Montreal and we’re going to have Richard Riot: The Motion Picture."
That call was so blatantly biased, I think the majority of Habs fans laughed it off as sheer incompetence by the refs, the morons in the "Control room" and the NHL in general. Good thing the Habs won though or there would be a different conversation going on. The Montreal team (Geoff Molson) should take the fine and call out the biased fucks on this anyway.
DeleteWhat a game between the Packers and Cowboys. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteThis is why we are sports fans. Rodgers final pass was sick.
DeleteWow what a catch!
ReplyDeleteSick, in a good way.
DeleteMan! What a clutch kick by Mason Crosby! The Pack move on.
ReplyDeleteI won't be able to stay up for moe's Steelers and the Chiefs game. I like KC and they play tough at Arrowhead stadium. We'll see.
You working tomorrow theM.?! : )
DeleteNope, but after a brisk walk in -8c temp yesterday I was beat last night. :p
DeleteHell of a game now. Hope your heart's still beating.
ReplyDeleteNow=moe
DeleteSteelers v. Pats should be a great one.
DeleteCongrats on the Steelers moving on, "see" you this afternoon in Dee-troyt.
ReplyDeleteThat was fun!
