Hey...I quite like the banner at the bottom...errr...after the bottom...? ahhh...underneath the bottom...? Anyway - I think you know what I mean - the new stylised banner...and the bottom...Go You Fucking Habs Go! I am going to a wedding so back around the start of the game...and I can't say this loudly or strongly enough...JUST FUCKING WIN!
Banner ssChmer, I will just take a win away from this rodeo.
We face off against the winner of the cup this year in advance. So its like a Tom Cruise movie where gCHuck is the assest and know body knows if he will be burnt.
We have a team of highly sk8d operatives. Lets just play and so who has the best sweeps.
Fantastic thread moe. Curb is one of those shows I've always j tended to watch and never got around to. Have to put it on my list.
I had 2 separate leaf fans are work yesterday predict leaf wins of 10-3 and 9-4. I don't only want a win, I want a fucking shutout, even if it's 1-0 (you know because of the 1 gpg average).
Be sure to wear your goggles if tuning into the pre-game. Gonna be a fest of epic proportions.
Start from the beginning and laugh your ass off through the many years.
The beauty of Larry David is he doesn't give a shit and says anything. He's rude and crude and a genius at seaming stories into crazy hilarious shit. Oh and lots of swearing (which he could not do on Seinfeld).
I expect lots of SFU leaf splooge and lots of Habs bashing. The old crotch and mclame are sharpening their sarcastic knives as we speak. I will have to pvr this one and watch later, it's movie night at the Maritimer's (new) residence. Good luck to us all tonight.
This song stands, precariously, at some cosmic, almost hypnotic intersection of ’70s and ’80s and even ’60s and ’90s music; it was the greatest white rap of its time, and to this day stands as an uncategorizable triumph. The band recorded Sandinista! basically on its own; parts aren’t perfect, but with songs like this Strummer and Jones could say they were on to something no one else had even thought of. If the Great American Novel was supposed to be something big enough to encompass America in all its breadth and excess, maybe this is a (not the) Great Rock and Roll Album, a work that somehow reflects the music’s multitudes, fuckups and all — and this song, the opening track, was its calling card. This basically begins at the middle eight of “A Day in the Life.” Joe Strummer takes a most mundane moment (the “magnificent seven” is the alarm ringing at 7 a.m., remember, not a posse led by Yul Brynner) and in typical whirlwind fashion vacuums up, well, everything: life, work, love, marriage, Marxism, pacifism, celebrity — and budgie, too, it turns out. There’s a spectacular, spacious mix, with any number of delightful sonic touches that repay many listenings. The band’s voices come together on the choruses with a charming, roguish force. That unrelenting bass line becomes hypnotic; Jones’s plangent guitars parts are some of his finest moments.
Greetings! Just checking in after watching the last 10 minutes and OT. Talent will find a way to win. Matthews has it and the Habs don't. Simple.
Third time I've watched Blade Runner, two times in the last year or so. The cinematography is amazing but what a dump LA will be in two years time (2019). Mrs. theM. didn't care for it but at least she will have some background knowledge for the new movie.
I caught the second period only last night. All streaks come to an end...thats why they are called streaks. Habs did a lot right just need to finish. TFS must be TFS if the Habs are going to go anywhere and from all accounts he wasn't last night. 3 in 4 on the road, out West will tell us all we need to know about how this season is going to go. Go Habs go!
Shaggy is a generational talent. McSplooge says he thinks the game like Lemiux. I want an auditor for the NHL draft because its hard not to believe that Rodgers bought Shaggy for six billion.
TFS is also a generational talent? The jury is still out but last night he was pedestrian. However the rest of the team looked good. Meat looks like a keeper and may just save DBMB from walking the plank. LZ (land Zone Alzner) had a fantastic game by the standards we have come to expect. First and second lines are dangerous, third line is good and fourth has hope.
We still have not seen the sCHlem or JJCH, and its possible sCHeer will be a creative input this year.
Patches stop taking shots from the parking lot. Superplexxe its not a shooting gallery you dont go for body mass. Superplexxe has to move, his house has no corners. Wrong Benn WTF are you doing out there?
I love Zombies because they are the representation of everything that should be dismembered and eaten as brains. Cause this is a sexy blog I will say pussy. Zombies are the anti pussy eaters and they are comming to your town dead or alive.
The blues brothers would not have made it half mile to Chicago today. So what are we to do vote for fucks sake and hope the guy you belive in is not just anthothe corrupt politician. Must we all live under the mob of the golden rule and guns>

ReplyDeleteMy daughter made it, she thinks the top banner is too plain. I'll use both.

ReplyDeleteGreat list, loaded with info.
Their #6 is my #1.
eg.
Delete6. “The Magnificent Seven,” Sandinista! (1980):

DeleteDidn't you once have the London Calling cover as your Avatar?
DeleteNot sure I have favourites but if I had to pick, ...supermarket & Straight to Hell would be up there on my list.
Yep, I did. 'Lost in the supermarket' is one of my top 5, its my ringtone.
DeleteFWIW, the text that accompanies the Venture song list is great.

Delete26th for our Habs. OuCH.
DeleteCan't blame leafools for being desperate to live in the moment. The moment will be fleeting.
DeleteAs for Habs fans, we can only look up but the bottom is close.
No one Houlding give a shit about any standings one week into the season...except Leaf fans obviously...
ReplyDeleteNo one should...
