I'm not much of a UFC fan, but I hope GSP knocks the living hell out of that other loudmouthed idiot. Psst, GSP, rope-a- dope doesn't work! I was wrong!

Working for the weekend
MB, Everyone's watching, to see what you will do
Everyone's looking at you, oh
Everyone's wondering, will you see the light
Everyone's hoping you'll do something right, something right
Carey's not working on the weekend
No Carey wont be at the dance
The whole team's goin' off the deep end
Everybody needs a second chance, oh
You want a piece of my bank
You better get rid of the stank
You wanna be in the show
Come on Habbies lets go
The fans are looking to see if it was you
The SFU seem giddy through and through
FHFans are hoping it'll all work out
But there's already lots of doubt
Looks like Inigo's working on the weekend
Lindgren might even get a chance
The whole team's goin' off the deep end
Everybody needs a second chance, oh
You won't get a piece of my bank
Until you get rid of the stank
You wanna be in the show
Come on Druid lets go
You want a piece of my heart
You better score from the start
You wanna be in the show
Come on gCHuk lets go
You want me to give a fuck
You better stop with the suck
You wanna be in the show
Come on Patches lets go
Great parody, Saint Paddy. #truth
ReplyDeleteOops, looks like I forgot to sign out of my account earlier.
ReplyDeleteOh man St. Pad! A rocking out parody beyond compare! Great work buddy. Now go you fucking Habs go
ReplyDeleteHNIT has their laff vs Blues game rather than Habs/Jets game - T0WO CANADIAN teams.
ReplyDeleteWhy am I not surprised?
The CBC will always get the leaf, southern Ontario is their bread and butter and they know it. The rest of the country doesn't matter.
DeleteI listened to the BobCat, Shannon, Cox and Arash Madani (from Truro, NS who knew) discuss the Habs ailments last night on Prime Time Sports. I guess the consensus was: a) they haven't drafted very well (no kidding) b) they don't have a lot of talent (obvious) and c) Carey Price is the only player who can save the season. I agree with it all. It's up to Price to turn it around. I'm rooting for him but I fear GMGQ has done too much damage. Maybe if KidA can inspire his teammates to play with his passion they would have a chance.
ReplyDeleteC'mon Big Al, hold the fort buddy!!
Last in the division, it's going to be a very steep mountain to scale.
DeleteGreat Parady we seem to be working on the lottery
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of greatest hits, my ode to Hockey Wives who pay the ultimate sacrifice.
DGMB must feel like a guy who just bought a genuine 80 million dollar work of art, and first time he hangs it on the wall discovers its been done in crayon.
As the GQish GM of this FHFantastic blog and on behalf of President 29, I am glad to see that you agree with the addition of the talented new member St. Pad. He’s making me (and by extension Prof 29) look good and more than just two minutes.
ReplyDeleteSaint Paddy has some great stuff. You guys with your great sense of humour are the only reason I'm paying any attention to the team formerly known as the Montreal Canadiens.
DeletePlus, Steve's radical thinking and outrageous commentary.
One thing I am really working hard on is to not be negative or trash talk individuals associated with the team but be critical in a kind of neutral way. I wish there was something positive to talk about but I can't find anything. Maybe someone else sees something? I'll gladly listen.
So far this season KidA is the beating heart of this team.
DeleteMeat is going to be a 40 point man anyway. CHud is the real deal. Leko statistically is already a superstar. Druid gCHuck and Leko could be an actual first line, one that is dangerous to the other team on moist of the time.
DeleteCHling and McNivin are arguably the two best goalies not in the NHL. This year is already a write off but next year hope springs eternal.
Its pretty clear that TFS is not healed. Give him the year off to recover because
this years draft is deep, dive catpitan dive get some new top fishes.
Also St Pad is a shoo in for rookie of the year.
\
Go Knights.
ReplyDeleteHas dave hodge found a new job yet? No? Good.
ReplyDeleteAwesome shucks, thanks for the accolades. It's a lot of fun but would be Hella more fun with a competitive team. I'll too try to stay positive but you'll see the darkness creeping in now and then.
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go!
Awe shucks not awesome. But also awesome, as in you guys are.
DeleteI concur with Steve, Montreal does have some good young players, unfortunately there is not much leadership to show them how to win. The question is do you try to get it or do you purge the current leadership and let these guys learn on their own, like the young guns in hogtown? Personally, I would try to parley Max into a true No. 1 center and as time winds down, I would be unloading a lot of the current pylons on the back end for as many swift skating puck handling D as I could find. Of course, Julien BriseBois, under Saint Patrick's supervision can do these transactions.
ReplyDeleteif TFS is TFS we would be in great shape right now. If Patches will sign a six for six I would keep him. Danno. Patches KidA another strong line, all we need is a third line center and next year SCheer, Hudon xxx are another threat. Between BBQ, LZ, Dish, Mete, Hog and and Jewels there is the build for a great D.
DeleteLZ can spend the summer learning that a zone defence is an area, while a man to man is a person.
In retrospect this write off year will be the ticket to the cup in two years.
Set those clocks back FHFers. (Hope we don’t say that during the game)
ReplyDeleteKelly Hrudey is concerned about Carey Price. Sure he is.
ReplyDeleteHrudey 'wrote' a book.
DeleteNice intro by GSP. I wish he could skate...
ReplyDeleteGolden Streams, as Trump would say Tremdous

ReplyDeletenice looking PP
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go!!
ReplyDeleteNice pass by Inigo - Price-like.
ReplyDeleteOh well we started well
ReplyDeleteCrap.
ReplyDeleteYeah!!
ReplyDeleteThey're looking better so far.
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go!!
ReplyDeleteTuned in in time to see the SSR goal. How was the rest of the period? Out shooting them I see, but we know that means nothing.
ReplyDeleteSSR x2
ReplyDeleteShaw x 2!!!
ReplyDeleteNice work by SSR knocking the puck out of the glove and scoring.
ReplyDeleteAbuse on KidA, as usual.
ReplyDeleteGood effort tonight.
ReplyDeleteI'll never forget when the Jets played pinball with KidA and at least 3 or 4 different penalties should have been called but they got none.
ReplyDeleteThey said that was PatCHes' pp point in 37? games including the playoffs.
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go!!
ReplyDeleteBBQ keeps missing the net.
ReplyDeleteSSR having a heck of a game.
ReplyDeleteInigo!
ReplyDeleteCrap
ReplyDeleteIt'll be a damn shame if they lose this.
ReplyDeleteDominating but not scoring. Generally ends poorly. Go Habs Go!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, kypridiot just lit a fucking bonfire under Bergevin's ass. Maybe we'll see the "Castaway" look from GMGQ again.
ReplyDeleteWhat did he say?
Deletethey are wondering how long TFS will be welcome in Montreal. OR will he want to stick around for the rebuild. Wow Kyropoit listens to Marionoa
DeletePrice has a minor knee injury... maybe... He has a full no move clause now but will he want to stick around if MB decides to tank and rebuild.
DeleteI don't know about the knee but I don't think it's in MB's DNA to tank. He always thinks he can win plus he's got that huge kitty on the table. They said Kyle Turris is available and MB has the money to pay him. The guy is a good center and could be the answer but that D makes me nervous.
Meat is wearing a goat meat dress so far tonite. Patches is shooting more blanks than Micheal Jackson. Time to artificially inseminate the first PP with gCHuck.
ReplyDeleteWatching Big Al say a prayer after every save not inspiring confidence.
Rope a dope is going to wear out BBQ he must have taken hundred shots already
SSR and KidA leading the way
Go Habs Go
Desktop is getting getting hot again, I'll have to go so it doesn't die on me.
ReplyDeletefor the locals, remember to exercise your right to vote tomorrow.

I hope CHling gets the start, we are not a bad team just bad goalies with a reasonable team
ReplyDeletebig bad rumours going around, I dont even want to speculate
ReplyDeleteDish!
ReplyDeleteSeason not over yet.... get the loser point at least!!
ReplyDeleteDish saves the season
ReplyDeleteOw. INIGO SEEING STARS.
ReplyDeletestart with Druid, gCHuck, BBQ , Meat
ReplyDeleteBoth teams deserve a point, a well played exciting game by two great Canadian franchises, not that the dumb fucks at hnit would care, they're two busy fellating their leaf. Ha Ha.
ReplyDeletekidA needs to win this.
ReplyDeletePatches!!!
ReplyDeleteEAT SHIT SFUCKERS!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are use to it and of course full of it!
DeleteCue'd the comeback!
ReplyDeletePatCHes!!
ReplyDeleteMan was PatCHes happy or what!
ReplyDeleteYep should a been a penalty. Wasn't called like a dozen others every game. Move on.
ReplyDeletetva is a disgusting network, owned by sn, truly a sickening bunch of fuckers.
ReplyDeleteTil tomorrow folks.
ReplyDeleteFall back those clocks FHFers!
ReplyDeleteYeah! A win is a win is a win!
ReplyDeleteMeat got packed by a heavy fast team last night. Mcsplooge says he will be destroyed by the end of Oct. Could he be like one of those people predicting the end of the earth. Correct but only off by the date.
