Frickin tired. Stayed up to watch the 43-40 shootout at Gillette. And it was a perfect storm for me (gambling-wise). Eked out a Fantasy Football win with one last catch by James White on the final drive, got the Patriots with the straight up win, and KC covered the 3.5 spread for my big pool.
I have to make up 37 points tonight to win my Fantasy league game. Can Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams pull it off against San Fran? Stay tuned. I got 22 points last night from Gotzkowski...

George McPhee sent three assets to Detroit for Tatar late last season. He then sent Tatar to Montreal with two MORE assets, to get PatCHes. Thus he has to make up for a net loss of five assets. That's pressure on him for sure (oh yes, plus a hefty pay increase). We all know how not so great he is under pressure. I wouldn't have him in my pool this year.

Speaking of pools ... my dynamic duo of Aaron Rogers and Davante Adams came through, again, for me last night. Over 50 points between them to come from behind for the win and I am now in sole possession of 1st place in my league at 5-1. Unfortunately, the Pack are on a bye next week so I will probably lose. Andrew Luck is at home to Buffalo, but my opponent has superior running backs and wide receivers. It would take bullshit luck to win this week but it's highly unlikely.
