I dont like silcone, except in cook ware or hoses, parts of CX Sport headphones that interact with my head. I am referring to the Joe from the last post. Huberdough is in the wind, yes we need a big game dumpster diver to bring him home. I dont think Nature is ever going to be a global change element. So Nature for Hubie-Dough. Plus a second, make it so number one.
In the words of Van Morrison we have come to far to stop now. JFW GYFHG!
we had breezbye defence all night. I am making a run at Laine. Dish and KidA. We need help on d and I want a -27 one dimensional scorer.
We are winning all our trades so far. BBQ has a half a point per game edge on PFK to date, Drouid for CHevy big lead for Drouid but a sword of damascus steel still hanging. gCHuck playing 3rd line min at wing and a long way from hitting 20 goals. So trade and we win.
Also I think Anti is headed to the old anti home, unlikely we will see him again unless we go tank mode.
So 2 wild card and 3rd in Metro up for grabs b/t Habs , Canes, Pens, BJs. Philthy and BARFALO 6 back. This team we've watched the past 3 games does not get a spot. JT with a piece on the disappearing Drouin a good start. Inconsistency breeds incompetence. And this team is full of each right now. Just like last time he was out, I think Lb returning actually helps this team more than anybody givee him credit for. Heal quickly Lb.
I know he is playing his best hockey production wise ever but JD is the trade bait be needs to use to get a big game player. As he is French I don't see it happening unless we get a super vedette in return but just my thought. ..
Out of all the star UFAs available, I still think Matt Duchene would be the answer to a lot of the Habs problems. A true #1 center with a lot left in the tank, he is younger than Weber and Price. He would be worth a 1st rounder and an A prospect. He would lift the moribund PP and take the heat off Drouin to be "the saviour". The only question is would he sign long term in Montreal?
Druid is what he is, and still has huge upside. I am not sold on and its so easy to go with the uche word. There is no way we should be taking a rental. We have no, zero zilch chance of beating the Lighting, and that who if we make the show we play.
The only way mb trades for Duchene is if he agrees to sign long term. I highly doubt Ottawa would even want Drouin, bergevin is probably the only GM who does, but the only untouchables on Montreal are KoHo and KidG. This scenario will never happen ... I was thinking out loud. Steve is right, they would never beat the Dolts but if they got in the 7 hole and played the Islanders they would have a shot.
He was never personable, even as a kid in Halifax. Some just don't do well in public. Mind you he went o my daughters' high school and the little she saw of him and Nate thought they were giant douches. But I expect a lot of kids who are told how good they are all the time let it go to their heads, They ARE teenagers. And not everybody does well with public speaking. It's been said many people would choose death over public speaking. I thought this was obvious of JD before Betrgevin traded for him, so bringing him to the pressure cooker that is Montreal was a huge risk. Asking him to be the Francophone Saviour on top of everything.
But he is still young. Hope he can learn to deal, be more likeable, quit with the damn turnovers and be a first line winger. We need him.
Strike one was getting into a pissing match with Stevie Y and his coach over ice time then quitting the team. That is a huge no-no in the world of hockey, especially a snot nosed rookie.
Strike two he seems to think he's the only player on the ice at times. Pee Wee moves like trying to beat 4 guys at the blue line and losing every puck battle, well, he hardly ever battles.
Yes, the Habs need a francophone player of his caliber but I don't think he is it. Too self centered, privileged and protected by his heritage and the SFU franco media.
First let me start by saying I think it's dumb what the Canes do with their victory celebrations. Hell, I'm not even a fan of the 'salute' that all teams do with a home win these days. Win the cup, then salute.
However I do find it hilarious that they fired back at the old crotch who called them a bunch of jerks for their celebrations. They're now selling t-shirts. And I love this twitter post:

ReplyDeleteLots of questions in the Montreal media about what to do with CHud. One might say it's a mystery, or a real Hudon-it?
ReplyDeleteCelebrating Heritage Day in NS. I should be eating potatoes and getting smashed but instead find myself cleaning the house and watching the Scotties.
ReplyDeleteWe call it family day in Ontario, as in the family runs the province
ReplyDeleteIt's Family Day here in N.B. too, when we kicked Gallant out he took the family with him.

Hey the M watching the NB ladies play the game of their lives against Jen Jones. Babin the Mate for NB is a real cutie.
ReplyDeleteWell they made that more interesting than necessary.
