    Duck! Rabbit! Duck!

One of my all time favourite Bugs Bunny cartoons...

    1. Anytime Daffy gets his beak shot off is funny.

  2. If you knew he would sign a long term contract, would you give Suzuki and a first (and maybe a lesser prospect or roster player) for Panarin?

Not necessarily for a 'playoff push' this year, but for the long term.

    1. I'm just afraid he's a bit flighty. And perhaps has no interest in playing in Canada, I'm not sure.

    2. And MB and CJ haven't exactly shown love for Russian players lately...but Romanov is just around the corner, probably next year so they best learn to like them.

Panarin aka Breadman won't come to Montreal, P.Q. His GF wants to be in NY or LA to enhance her modeling/acting/whatever career. Forget about him. Word on the street is that bargainbin is heavily scouting Anaheim and the rumoured target is Cam Fowler ... how ironic is that name ... supposedly the LHD that bbb is looking for. Going to be a hefty price for him but Habs have the assets and cap space to pull it off. As far as scoring goes there are tons of scoring wingers as rentals out there but I wouldn't be giving up prime assets for any of them. BTW, Fowler is signed long term, 6 more years I think.

    4. OK, if we get Fowler, his name has got to be Daffy. moe, I hope you don't mind I added a couple of pics of my coffee mug which my kids gave me for Fathers' Day about a dozen years ago.

    5. I would make that deal for Panarian, if he would sign 10 for 9.

  3. Suzuki is the future...gotta hang on to that boy! Trade some of the dross and a 2nd and 3rd for a roster player who will be more than a rental this season and I am ok...get another LHD and the Habs will be looking good...

Who remembers their first download? I say who cares?

Who remembers their first album they ever bought? Mine was Led Zepplin IV which has Stairway to Heaven and strangely enough it's my least favourite song. 'Rock'n Roll' would me my #1 choice.

    2. I have 3 older brothers, 2 of which were really into music so I never had to by vinyl.
But I remember my first CD - The Best of Van Morrison. I really need to get around to ripping my CD collection...

I really dislike CDs, I have some, but I find them soulless creations.

    5. I will wait for the offical Dr Rechii opinon on Bryon, still a chance of mirco fracture.

My first LP was from that Columbia house mail order service where you got a bunch of albums. It was the best of the Guess Who.

  5. Well this is good news.

Canadiens head coach Claude Julien said Paul Byron did not suffer a fractured forearm and that his status is day-to-day.
#Habs Julien speculated that Byron would be out for a few days, maybe a week.

  7. I dont know why we would go for Fowler when Muzzie went for a bag of pucks.

Shaggy sets himself up for free agency in 5 years. He will not sign in TO take that to the bank. At 11.5 he is an expensive set piece. He has not proven to be more than a goalscorer. He has not proven he is a playoff player, he has not proven he can take a hit. I am glad we did not have to make that decision. We will face it with KidKo IMHO will have a better career and win more cups than Shaggy.

The next big drama in TO will be if Billy walks. The billy camp is all in that he is equal to Shaggy. Fun for at least till Christmas next year.

We should crush the ducks into goose liver.

Hey moe, we are watching too but I am sitting here in stunned disbelief at this offensive outburst by les Habs. Or else Anaheim is really, really bad.

  10. Not one for rumours and really don't like the idea out there of picking up corey perry's contract to snag a young Dman. perry is a fucking douchebag.

I didn't hear that one. Perry is a douche but the Habs could use somebody with a nasty edge like that.

Dave Poulin, despite being a former phucktard and dirty br00n, is a fair analyst in a SFU telecast. Not like despicable dirtbags Gary Galley and Greg Millen.

Big challenges upcoming with the mighty Jets Thursday and then the wretched, putrid fucking leaf on Hockey Day in the SFU.

  12. Another strong win - a game they would have struggled with last year. ..21 and counting for KidA. I could see Fowler coming in...but hopefully not a price we regret...maybe Hudon and a second...but what do I know...

Rented for 2nd round pick Sebastian Collberg who never panned out, Vanish was playing for the Islanders at the time. I don't think Vanish ever played with Shaw but I could be wrong. I don't believe bargainbin is interested in any rentals, only hockey trades. Cam Fowler or Hampus Lindholm are the targets.
