Nice to be back to game-day threads, eh? Avoid the Traonna Sports Nincompoops, kids. Listen to Sergio Momesso and friends on TSN690 to complement your muted TV viewing. And first, it's almost kick-off time (Stamps at Als) --SiM
'Rare and unique' ability to shoot the puck. That's too fucking funny. Sfu have no class, no morals, no clue. Should be their motto. No morals. No class. No clue.
Wonderful and so appropriate game day thread. The fawning by the SFU over Narcos is sickening, like nobody before him could ever shoot the puck. Fuck.
Jack Todd and others were ripping hugeson for his inappropriate comment Wednesday night that, after Narcos scored his goal that all his troubles were behind him. He should be fired over that. They fired Dave Hodge for less. Since jh got the Saturday night gig he has become a self-important prima donna... perfect for toronto.
Narcos is lucky that young lady wasn't packing, she should have put a round into his sorry ass. Like everyone said, when it comes to the fucking leaf, the tranna media has no scruples. Best thing for the rest of the country is for those fuckers to lose. Often.
Yeah like I said if he was available in the 6th round of my pool I couldn't because of that face. Just add a trenchcoat. Guess I'm not up on the narcos reference.
So Moe had a legendary rant on Twitter earlier. Here's an excerpt for those who don't tweet... So its been years that my hockey comments have hit the web. Started almost 2 decades ago on the since shuttered CBC hockey postgame comment. Yours truly helped shut that fucker down because I took that xenophobe doncherry to task and let CBC know their mission is suppose to be ... pan-Canadian. They haven't improved and now joined at the leaf hip with the disgusting @Sportsnet, their Habs hate just keeps on going. They are a despicable lot. @TSNHockey also had to shut down their comments. It was vile.
It goes on and I can assure it gets better. The pride I felt as a 4FH community member was immense. God bless you Moe... And fuck the leaf., GYFHG!
Nothing like insulting guys that actually won something, the Big M, Keon, Horton, Armstrong, Bower, etc. etc. October is always the leaf best month, enjoy leafools....
Yeah, Nature Boy was in tough there. The veterans bailed him and others out in the end, which is the mark of a very good team that knows how to nurture their young.
So far, doobie's $44 million dollar men look better than bargain bin bergy's collection of dollar store specials. The refs have offered a helping hand to their leaf as well.
Yeah it's still early days, but I still believe one Andrei Markov would do wonders for stabilizing this defence. Kuul and Fire look horrible. Fleury looks 20.
what the facq was that! awesome for dish stepping up to take his shot, but those idiots on cbc just said, anybody could have. did jabba really choose dish to do it!?
Ha ha, cbc couldn't break away fast enough to the Calgary Vancouver game. They didn't want to have to discuss how THEIR leaf could possibly lose with all that firepower. I loved how Price stared down all those fuckers in the shootout. Way to go Carey!!
8 goals in two games isn't great but a win against the putrid leaf is always a good thing. Defence needs a kick in the arse. TFS can't do this by himself.
Our ten million dollar man wins. The system works, let TFS stop the puck. The defence rests, I think they were still in the hotel. Chariots on fire, I mean like burnt. Rueben will not win a game this year with that D.
The next time these two teams play, I'm going to keep track of how many times huge-simpleton, the leaf homers, say the words 'auston matthews'. Narcos is the new phat phil...
Little know fact about the victory, in whiCH I played a role. So if you give me weed whites and wine and show me a sign I will be willing. I wore my official J Druid t shit for an NHL game the first time ever. They call me Steve, I have done battle with the Burka and won, an now I used my power to win. Always bet on red black and blue.
He did a good job of spelling it out, right down to how Kypreos and MacLean were dumped, as a signal to the remaining Sportsnet team what side of the bread the butter's on. The analogy of NY Rangers getting the same treatment on ESPN as if all other american teams were secondary players was spot-on. We've been fed this ridiculous fanboy treatment of the Leafs for so long, we almost don't see the hypocrisy any more.
Me too. Been wearing my navy blue #22 Begin all weekend (found it in mint condition at Village des Valeurs last August). Did you see the kid, Anderson Whitehead, cheering on the Habs in the stands? Such motivation. Pure and true.
Happy belated anniversary. It was 4 years ago yesterday that MB made one of the most astute moves of his tenure by plucking Paul Byron off waivers. The same Paul Byron with the lone shootout goal against the leaves, while none of their 8 digit superstars could beat THE superstar TFS. Quick math tells you that 33.5M into 10.5M, rounded to the nearest decimal = ZERO.
Anybody notice Blocaid's twitter account. I wasn't aware, but apparently after every win, he summarizes the game using emojis. I suspect most of us on here are not emoji folks, but I saw it and it's pretty funny even if you can't figure it out.
Mr reality steps in. In a four game playoff we are not beating the leaf. No way no how, no much better TFS plays. Our D was out of control. Nature is on the bubble and Snowy needs time in the AHL.
Pfffffff.... the fucking leaf defence is worse than the Habs. That bunch couldn't check their hats. Soft as cow dung pylons. And don't worry about Nature Boy and Blizzard, it's early days and they will be fine. A couple weeks with Joel Bouchard in Laval did wonders for Meat last year, I can see something similar with those two young'uns.
I opened the SN page and the picture accompanying the Fried Man's "31 thoughts" (which, if you've ever actually looked at is more like 8 thoughts divided into 31 paragraphs), but the picture is Druid front and centre by the number 92 on his sleeve. But looking at his face, I swear he is posessed by little DDD. I swear, if I didn't see his sweater number, I'd be wondering what the hell fried man is smoking - why is wee Davy accompanying his lame writing?
Sorry, just a random thought this humpday morning.

ReplyDeleteA nice remembrance of Ric Ocasek from Paulina;

Just beat the putrid leaf. Please.
ReplyDelete'Rare and unique' ability to shoot the puck. That's too fucking funny. Sfu have no class, no morals, no clue. Should be their motto. No morals. No class. No clue.
what first person to shoot a puck, come on OV has a rare gift, Mike Bossy, Brett Hull, Captian underpants is still on a cereal box
DeleteThey can't help themselves.
DeleteZero fucking integrity.
I gave tribute to The Muffs lead singer on my blog. She was no Debra Harry but she was more than a one hit wonder.
ReplyDeleteCalling DR BOMBAY, CALLING TONY ROBBINS, the leaf pass around a Raptors basketball after games. WTF. Why not used underpants?
ReplyDeletePulled pork in the slow cooker. Johnny cake in the oven. Hodgepodge starring the final harvest of our green & yellow beans and multi coloured carrots.
ReplyDeleteVodka & Cran on deck for the game..
Let's fucking go!
Incredibly beautiful day here. Pure sun, 15º, cleaned up the yards.
DeleteMade a turkey for my son. His fave and his BDay soon.
Nice Cab Sauv.
Yardwork here too. Cool bit perfect for working outdoors.

Thanks theM.
DeleteI agree 100% that hughson needs to be taken down a peg. Not even a fucking apology.
I thought I might've taken it too far but SFUck em'
The SFU will defend anything leaf. They and the tml have buried this Narcos story. Truly despicable leafools.
De Nada.
DeleteThere is something creepy about the receding hairline (at 23) and the butt ugly 'stache. I can't put my finger on it but...
Yeah like I said if he was available in the 6th round of my pool I couldn't because of that face. Just add a trenchcoat. Guess I'm not up on the narcos reference.
DeleteIs it just the cheesy stache? I haven't watched the show yet.
DeleteI watched half the first season of Narcos, and you know what I cant cheer for Narcs
Deletematthews looks like a/the Narcos caracter, porn stache and all. He's sleazy, committed a crime, although minor. I am happy he is the face of the leaf.
DeletePlease, please, please, for the love of all things holy, beat those dickwads tonight and shut up the incessant duo of hugesimpleton....

Deletetruth to power
DeleteThx brother K.
DeleteHad to find the release valve.
I've bounced around web platforms for a few years and have landed on Twitter (signed up in 2008!).
So far, it is fun. Best part is muting and blocking leafools.
You fuckin'go moe!
DeleteFacepunchable mclame leads with leaf sucking 'Lets start with the leaf', no kidding
ReplyDelete'and suggest 'forever rivals' Nope.
christine 'nepotisimpson'; 'this might be the best leaf team ever'.
ReplyDeleteThere ya go hockey fans.
Nothing like insulting guys that actually won something, the Big M, Keon, Horton, Armstrong, Bower, etc. etc. October is always the leaf best month, enjoy leafools....
DeleteDomini!
ReplyDeleteDomini!!
ReplyDeleteMax!
ReplyDeleteFlery will get the gears for that, but they had full control and Kulak dumped it over to his tired partner rather than just flip it out of the zone.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Nature Boy was in tough there. The veterans bailed him and others out in the end, which is the mark of a very good team that knows how to nurture their young.
DeleteSo not the best period but they got this. Go you fucking Habs go! JUST FUCKING WIN
ReplyDeleteNot the best, not terrible. Kids will get the blame for the 2 goals, but not really their fault.
DeleteWhile weak by Nature Boy, according to Simpleton tapping another player's hands to lift their stick is a perfectly beautiful hockey play.
ReplyDeleteGO YOU FUCKING HABS GO!!!
ReplyDeleteDIE YOU PUTRID LEAF DIE!!!
FUCK OFF SFU....
Oh look the clever sfu found a crying baby in a Habs sweater to show after a leaf goal.
ReplyDeleteCHariot shouldn't have taken #8. The Korisarek hasn't yet been expunged. --SiM

ReplyDeleteoh and SiM, u wrong bro. wrongbenn did awesome wearing #8 last two (three?) yrs.
ReplyDeleteoh, and for the record... giving them a PS was again the refs helping the leaves. ide waaaay rather have a PP than PS any day, any situation
SFU are rattled...
ReplyDeleteOn the drive home and it's been Domini! Druid! DISH!! DANO!!! KILLER D'S !!!
ReplyDeleteG Y F D H G
Kid A too!

ReplyDeleteFuck yeah!
HZHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFUCK YOU SFU EAT SHIT!!!!!
Haha eat shit and die leaffools!
ReplyDeleteNot the way you wanna play every night but 2 pts against the October Stanley Cup champs is not too shabby!
Ha ha, cbc couldn't break away fast enough to the Calgary Vancouver game. They didn't want to have to discuss how THEIR leaf could possibly lose with all that firepower. I loved how Price stared down all those fuckers in the shootout. Way to go Carey!!
ReplyDeletePrice stopping $33.5M in salary in the shootout without barely moving and giving the death stare is Priceless.
ReplyDeleteBig thumbs up!
DeletePure gold. Gotta check this out, nice catch by this guy catching Domi calling Kapanen a fucking idiot for throwing his stick.

DeleteThank you Blues!
ReplyDeleteHey SFU and Blabcock, it's not 'your time's... eat shit losers... hahaha
toronto sports network trying to hide (bury) their leaf loss last night. Losers.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the Habs having more wins, more points and less coverage. Fucking pieces of shit.
