  1. I do not have to CHange won thing, we are in a ring of fire
    Love is a burning thing
And it makes a fiery ring
    Bound by wild desire
I fell into a ring of fire
I fell into a burning ring of fire
I went down, down, down and the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns, the ring of fire
    The ring of fire
I fell into a burning ring of fire
I went down, down, down and the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns, the ring of fire
    The ring of fire
The taste of love is sweet
    When hearts like ours meet
I fell for you like a child
Oh, but the fire went wild
I fell into a burning ring of fire
I went down, down, down and the flames went higher

    1. Bad by Ed.

Not sure who was responsible for the goal scorer...Weber, Drouin or Staal?
I would accept any of them doing it.

    1. I voted for Pee Wee Herman to get the gig.

    2. Pee Wee would've been fun. I was trying to get Scott Laurie (former CTV national anchor and classmate of mine from J-school) as a write-in, but nobody listens to common sense.

I was kind of expecting Edmonton to win this one. It might be a struggle to win a game this week considering the opposition. A couple of OT losses would help although Calgary are fading rapidly.

    2. Argh. And TFS just got an Oiler's stick in the nads in front of the ref, no call of course.

  10. We're not gonna grt any calls tonight I think.

  11. TFS and BBQ just invented a new sport: synchronized saving.

  12. Well that should seal the deal. Bad night for Munster, losing his guy on the first goal and getting beat, then taking a penalty to give up that PP goal. Hard shot but Price should have stopped it though.

I've been telling myself they were never contenders, still 2 or 3 years away from that. A couple of grizzled vets were not going to change that. The next nucleus to lead this team will be Slick, KoHo, CC8, Tsar, Harris, maybe Norlinder and Primeau. By then, Toffee and Josh will be the supporting players.

All that being said, the wretched, despicable leaf are not contenders either. No Canadian team is.

    2. Gotta call that. I always reverse it and would want it called if it was the other way around.

    3. you know in football, if the defender makes contact with the ball first, its (supposed to be), not a foul and simply play on.
call me stupid, but i always thought ice hockey was the same. pls remind...

  18. Hope they can close in in the final 2:33 because I wouldn't bet 25¢ on them lasting long in OT against the Oilers.

    1. It's the kind of injury that should heal (enough) in time for playoffs, so at least he'll be rested and ready.

    2. Time to test that depth.

    3. Apparently if KidA goes on LTIR it gives BBB some cap space to play with until the playoffs - which is about how long he will be out for

  36. Hey I am not afraid of the great SATAN, no I am not speaking of the guy who played for the Sabers. I am talking about the great SATAN of media, that is filling our hospitals with plague because they have the power, they were given the power and they dont know how to use it wisely.
We humble habs, gathering up the crumbs of health care we get are going to send our Warriors into a Rodgers center with no support, no fans no help from above, no fourm ghosts to seal the deal.
I am afraid. I will be in the fetal position for the next 48 hours, with my wife genoursly rotated me 180 degrees every six hours.
