Yeah, get a fucking win tonight and pretty much blow out the Flames. Gonna be tough, Ottawa rested and licking their chops no doubt. Even a loser point would be good.
That is some serious booty being washed there. Tabernac!

Good game, I even enjoyed watching it, faced paced, lots of skating. Kudos to Dish, Slick Nick, Toffee, PowerHorse, 7Evans, CP30 (watch those rebounds, eh). Big time excitement for Whiskey so happy for him. It's been a good weekend for the Habs.
Now, fuck right off mclame and fuck your wretched leaf.
New theory time! Dish has too much respect for BBQ to show him up on the ice when they're both in the line-up. Therefore hd only is free to play up to his top level at times BBQ is injured. It's all psychological and it means the team needs to drop its captain to go all the way. There, I said it.
That looks insane from that angle Steve! I loved it in real time, you could see CC read Petry's s move as he turned on the Jets to head where all natural goal scorers go, to the net. Great play by Dish to get past asshat Tkachuk who was out the entire OT. And a beauty goal and as we now know, even better with that view.
And as some of the writers have noted, the biggest and best take away from this is that DD trusted 7evans and Bilbo together in OT.
When bodies are back in the lineup, we'll find out if he can stand up to MB and make sure Jake never sits in place of Staal again.
CP30 (love it!) played great but has to stop letting out Primo rebounds. A better team probably pounced and capitalizes on some of those.
I haven't watched baseball since the expos left but one thing I always appreciated about the game were the standings. Games back of the leaders. Makes it so easy to figure out how far behind the next team despite number of games played being different.
In that same vein, the 'magic number' noe for the Habs vs Flames us 2.5 and 4.5 vs Canucks. That's the combo of Habs wins and Flames/Canucks losses. I added the 0.5 because it's possible (likely even) that if tied in the standings it means those teams have gone on a tear to finish the season with more Regulation/OT wins and would win the tie-breaker.
Even more reason to hate the blue jays, owned by Rogers, there was a pic on Twitter showing Edward Rogers posing with trump at Mar-A-Logo. I will never use Rogers as a telecommunications provider again. I don't know what I'll do if I decide to dump Bell. No 3rd options here in the east.
leaf killer put on the taxi squad ...

Think I’ll have bourbon instead of rum tonight.
ReplyDeleteI ❤️ the CH anthem singer.

ReplyDeleteLove Czar. Little nervous about him dropping the gloves though. Kid is fearless. Love it!

ReplyDeleteWhiskey for the win
ReplyDeleteI was having a nice single malt ScotCH during the game Highland Park 12 year old. Smooth, baby, just like Dish was last night.
DeleteRye, to be exact.
DeleteSome ryes are nice but the single malt barley whiskeys are my favourites.
DeleteBowmore 12 year is my go to, but I try others from time to time.
Excellent photo showing just what a skill goal that was. I predict the Hart for Whiskey this year and the Rocket next year.

Loser our five best players and start winning, whats wrong with that?

DeleteThere's plenty of repugnance to go around for all the big telcos, sadly.
