  1. Cliché but one game at a time. One shift at a time. Win one, then pull one out in Tampon Bay and you got a chance.

    Go you fuckers go.

  4. Also - St. Pad is right - One Game At A Time - One Period at a Time! Score first if you can. Work harder than any game you've played this season. Leave every bit of it on the ice. JUST. FUCKING. WIN>

    GO YOU FUCKING HABS GO!

    1. can i add, just throw anything/everthing at the net? even if its on the backhand, even if its a bad angle...

ugly goals go in. just look at carey as proof. that other tomato can is the same. what ive noticed is the boys are holding their shots for a clear lane, and for traffic to build. and when those two things are in place, its too late cause their keeper is set.

for the first one: fire when in possession. the puck is only 4x2"! a lot of pucks can squeeze through think chinks in tinfoil armour.
for the second one: be ready for rebounds, deflections, bad bounces off defenders.

  5. So KK out but Czar and Kadillak in? Like Meatloaf says, 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Weird but I suppose the thought must be get Evans in for his defensive abilities? I dunno, grasping here. Like Moe says, weird decision.
Maybe he didn't want KK suffering defeating the cusp of his 21st birthday...

The coaching staff are still 'developing' KoHo and Tsar. It's all part of the resurrected eMpTy plan to make them better people.

Don't know if I will make it to the end tonight. Late start and 18 holes in 28 degree temps don't make for a good combo for this old goat. I'll do my best unless it is another blowout.

      Good Luck to us all!!

  6. We got this far mostly with TFS. There were some games against Vegas we won with his ghost.
Tonite its all TFS all the Time. TFS TFS TFS.
I can not imagine any scenario we do not win tonite, winning the series probably feel the same way

  10. We are here playing king of the castle and they have all the knights, but just maybe remember a Knights tale, its not writting in the stars we make the stare tonite. Forged by the hammer of eliminaton.

    1. Good catch Oleg. And I considered that. But think of who was on top for that handshake. And the link to the Lenny Kravitz song (which I don't see in my phone...) And the "It ain't over" text. Just a nod from the 70s taking care of the Russians in the end. Hope our Russian can do some damage to his countrymen tonight.

  24. I'm sure this is coincidence...
Last play was a clear offside on TB. No whistle. Earlier play Habs called offside when Petry went in. Byron 'may' have got back inside on time but whistle was blown. It's that close why not let it go?, if there is a goal it will be reversed if necessary.

  45. Like 29 I am also not here much these days. Goddamm the NHL and it's 'merican TV deal - 8 pm starts are just too late for me to be able to hold down a regular day job. Please don't think ill of me. I sleep in a Habs top every game night. Stupid superstitions abound in my house too...still haven't touched the Habs jersey I see every day in my room. It has not moved since the playoffs started. And they still haven't won shit. One period, one game at a time. Nothing but positive thoughts coming from this side of the pond. And I have converted another soccer fan that I work with into a Habs fan. He is a sports nut but admits to knowing nothing about hockey, asked for my thoughts on who he should follow. Presto - faster than you can say "Go Habs Go!" he pledged allegiance to the Bleu Blanc Rouge. Last week he felt that it was his fault "can't help but think it's all gone south for them since I started supporting them" he messaged me. "One game at a time mate" I messaged him back. "Go Habs Go!" he replied...and here we are...

    2. We know you are next to Gallager the ultimate fan warrior. Its going to pay off, we are winning this fucking cup

    3. The chant of "It's coming home" is something I have been living with in this country since 1996 when Skinner and Baddiel (an English comedy duo) combined with the Lightning Seeds (a 90's Britpop band) to write probably the best ever football (soccer) song ever - Three Lions. The UK was hosting the Euro championships and (very like the leaf) had not won a thing since 1966 when they won the World Cup. They ha da very good squad and hopes were high that they would win the Euros on home soil. They planned all the parades and everything was all set until they lost in the QF to Germany on penalties. The current England Manager - Gareth Southgate - missed the penalty to seal their fate. At the time, one of the key lines in the song (...30 years of hurt, never stops me dreaming...) was poignant. So another 25 years has passed and they still (very much like the leaf) have not won a thing. There is a major tournament every couple of years - either the Euros or the World Cup - and for many years they tried different songs by different artists - none has resonated like Three Likons - so this time, they decided why try writing something better - let's just update it slightly and use it - So yes Oleg my good man - I know exactly what to say if he tells me it's coming home. I tell him to snap out of it - he is a Habs fan now. We shall have an ole, ole ole ole at some point soon!

Is the NHL actually rigged against Canadian teams? [CBC]

Of course it is. What a fucking brownnoser that little sniveling sycophant engels is. Just another sportsnet suck up to the little tyrant commissioner. The only time Canadian franchises matter is when it's time for Rogers/Bell and the Molsons to hand over their cash to the carpet bagging American owners and their shit welfare teams.
