  2. Great sexy Saturday Moe. I haven’t been here in forever but, immediately thought of you, after reading this article on Ukrainian punk band, Beton. They got blessing from the Clash to redo London‘s Calling.

    Go Habs!

  4. Did you know using the suffix tard is now considered bad form to say the very least. So I must apologize to the 1974 PHuckorange sisters in the city of brotherly love.
I think I have called the SenTurds and that is still available to everyone except old librarians who would call them the Senators bowel movement.

I think all the little cheapshots that mclame and his band of morons like to give the Habs has to do with Monreal eliminating their leaf last spring. It was 3-1.

  38. Wow... Been away ages but Super Sexy Saturday deserves a Huge NOAR! Been distracted with my Mom and sadly things have gotten much worse. Making a trip back to Oshawa next week to make final plans... So hockey has been somewhat secondary. Just watched the 2nd period however and I really like what I see... Reserving judgement on several recent returns... Except Alain... He looks zoned in and on his game tonight. Habs future looks bright. Just fucking win boys. Speak to you all this coming week from Canada. GYFHG!

How did the goalie that mclame compared to the great Ken Dryden make out tonight?

Yeah, that's what I thought. The SFU hubris knows no bounds but always comes back to haunt them.

  49. Notes: can't say Lep's absence was a minus at all. And Druid contributed nothing and clearly was pkaying extra timid. First game back and all, but I saw him very barely involved and nobody's preferred guy to attempt to pass to.

These two are pulling down the two highest salaries of all CH forwards this season. Are they also team with their untradable contracts? I love Lep but his game perhaps needs a defensive minded coach to flourish. Or his best days are behind him anyway.

7evans and Pez and LB and Leko and Nature and Whiskey and Powerhorse and Czar and Kadillak and SCHooner (Bundy?), who blocked 7 shots (!!!) were engaged and a joy to watch. Thank you HuGo and MSL for giving us some electricity in the Phone Booth. It was fun.

Stupid rumour that the Rags are offering up Lafreniere. To HuGo I say: Stay far, far away from that. I have two words for you. Jonathan. Drouin.

Cole Caufield is a better player than A.L.

    ReplyDelete
  51. the Maritimer1:11 PM

The two defencemen with the highest ice times last night: Tsar and Shoe. Two lowest, Dish and JEd. That doesn't happen under the stiff necked Dumb Charms. JEd I can understand, he's still getting up to game speed. Dish, well, we know his mind is somewhere else. A former player like Marty can recognize all that, hence the superior decisions. Can't say enough good things about MSL. Rescuing Cole Caufield was just the start. He has won more games now than the other guy did in 45 games. Incredible.

The wretched leaf are getting desperate as the teams around them are loading up so they put one of their sieves on waivers and pick up another one from the KHL. Good times watching these losers fall on their faces.

    1. I hope they make a stupid last-minute trade for a rental they overpay for that still doesn't help them get through the first round of playoffs.

    2. the Maritimer3:11 PM

All the big names have been moved and Dumbass has been left holding the bag. Anybody who wants to win and has a no trade list will spurn the loser leaf. The SFU want the gullible leaf fan base to think everybody wants to go there but, their reputation as chokers is known league wide. Looks good on them.

      Delete
    3. A 38 year old Giordano is their big get. Perfect fit for him, at that age, one round is enough.

IF, IF Petry and Kulak are dealt, the Habs are going to be fielding basically an AHL D plus Romanov and Edmundson. Should pretty much guarantee a bottom 3 finish.

  54. the Maritimer10:10 AM

Nobody can out-tank the Yotes and the Krak-heads. They are trading everybody for picks. The only way Montreal gets to pick 1st is to win the lottery and I wouldn't hold my breath. The buttman will guarantee his latest pet project or the bottomless money pit in Arizona gets #1.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Ouf, N8 was just traded to the Pens for a conditional 7th round pick.

    That's right. A one-tine 1st rounder for a conditional 7th.
