If we have a healthy TFS and Jake the Snake next season, the rebuild is over. Resign Chariot of Eggs, get Bergevon to play for 750 like all the old leaf fools do. Plan the parade.
Although I appreciate Steve's optimism, and I know he kids around a lot, I am unsure of a quick turnaround. Someone pointed out that Florida started their rebuild in 2011 with Huberdeau, then Barkov, then Ekblad and missed on Gudbranson. They added Goalie Bob, another $10mil guy like Price and are only now contenders after sacrificing the next couple years of 1st round picks. They have pushed all their chips in and it's been 11 years. Maybe Flash and Superman won't take that long but there will be growing pains for sure. I think we should bank on 3-5 years minimum. As long as they play competitive hockey and beat the wretched leaf I am OK.
I hope the fans won't put too many expectations on Joshua Roy. He is still only 18 years old. He will play in the Q next season, probably get traded to a contender around Christmas time from a rebuilding Sherbrooke team. That's the way it goes in junior hockey. The Sea Dogs will be starting from scratch again next season as well. I would like JR to play a season in Laval as well.
I actually watched them 'debate' the other night whether Underpants winning the Hart is directly connected to whether or not he wins the Rocket. Consensus was as unfair as it is to U/P because he is one of the best 2 way players in the game (swear to god, they said this), it will tie directly to him winning the goal scoring title. Doesn't matter if Connor or Johnny have 20 more points or if he finishes one goal behind Leon. I watch this stuff in utter fascination as they really seem to believe everything they say about that team, and especially about pornstache.
You can hear Bieber hyping his close friend and Maple Leafs superstar Auston Matthews by saying, "Auston Matthews is really doing some work here in Montreal," in reference to the goal Matthews scored against Montreal over the weekend.
From the video, you can also hear him say, "How about those Leafs though, huh?"; "How's that playoff spot looking for you guys this year?"; and "Maybe next year, maybe next year," all resulting in more boos and eventually a "Go, Habs, Go" chant.
This artificial music product has no meaning to me. I can only hope he now can never take nickles and dimes from hard working people of Quebec, and hard loving Habs fans. BTW I never gave him a nickel or dime or more than 30 sec of watching his hopelessly overduped video.
I didn't watch any of that game last night. The incident with Allen I saw on Twitter. I refuse to watch any games Carolina plays, they are a trolling, classless organization, a true butt-man welfare team. Fuck'em, our time will come.
Cole Caufield, who led all rookies in goals, points, power-play goals (tied), power-play assists and power-play points, has been named the NHL’s “Rookie of the Month” for March.
The naked shoveler would have found work today in SJ. Fuck, winter just won't go away.
ReplyDeleteI'm heading out tonight so won't be posting much.
G Y F H G!!!!
Cold but no snow here.
DeleteSnowgal has become a permanent fixture.
If I am not mistaken, she is outside of a resto in Montreal.
DeleteLooks like she coukd use some warming up.
Delete3 nights of CBD oil, so far the effect of faster/better sleep seems to be working.
ReplyDeleteTHC + CBD in equal dosages is a good thing too.
DeleteAlmost no THC in this sleep aid.

DeleteThe anti-Thin Man
DeleteF’n refs
ReplyDeleteWell MJ has been saying all night Habs need to get the puck out when they have a chance. And they've been failing miserably. C'est la vie.
ReplyDeleteBarron is gonna need to fill out that frame.
Jedi!
ReplyDeleteFlipper!
ReplyDeleteComeback baby !
ReplyDeleteWas putting my daughter to bed and of course missed both Munster's and Dolphin's goals. Oh well. GYFHG!
ReplyDeleteDEVO waited for you.
DeleteDevo! Tie game!
ReplyDeleteThere it is.
ReplyDeleteDevo!!! Whippin' it good!
ReplyDeleteInto shape.
DeleteType it lick with an assist?
ReplyDeleteShiny happy Pitlick. The other one isn't playing I don't think.
DeleteYou are wise in the tenets of advanced Pitlickology, St. P.
DeleteA true Pitlickologist.
DeleteIn Bob there's rust?
ReplyDeleteSecond periods are a thing with this MSL-run squad, eh?
ReplyDeleteSo what'd I miss?
ReplyDeleteLots of goals apparently.
Hoffman playing well for the Panthers tonight. It's like he never left.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that was a brutal turnover. Or a nice pass...
DeleteHeh, fuck you refs.
ReplyDeleteOh come on
ReplyDelete7evans will die on the ice for the CH one of these days. Warrior.
ReplyDeleteMega shoulder crunch into the boards.
DeleteThat was scary. Shoulder or collar bone.
DeleteHelluva kill. GYFHG
ReplyDeleteIt's almost like the Florida Panthers are a really good team or something (as long as they don't say Gay).
ReplyDeleteLove how this team competes though.
ReplyDeleteTanks to Hoff for taking CHarge tonight.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, Hoffman sounds German. Be better if he were tanking for FLA. They could be the Florida Panzers.
DeleteOoooohh... that was a groaner. Good word play though.
DeleteHey, that was pretty good timing on my part, exactly 12 hours between posts.

ReplyDeleteHuGo signing young prospects Roy and Harris. Nice.
ReplyDeleteI hope the fans won't put too many expectations on Joshua Roy. He is still only 18 years old. DeleteDon't look now but Montreal is back in the prime position after last night's games.
ReplyDeleteMaybe that clown beeber can write a song about it.
DeleteWeird how the SFU is falling all over themselves about Nachos' pending 50th goal, yet barely a peep about Draisaitl at 49.
ReplyDeleteI actually watched them 'debate' the other night whether Underpants winning the Hart is directly connected to whether or not he wins the Rocket. DeleteSid the Kid (having an amazing season) never got this much attention at his peak. Wonder why.
DeleteWonder if the SFU notes how pornstache quits on plays where he is supposedly 'fouled'. Happens often...
DeleteOf course they note it, they can't stop complaining about how the Selke candidate was interfered with.
DeleteAnd, the Habs continue to live rent free in leafools heads, re: beeber. Suck it, loser.
ReplyDeleteThis clown is the perfect example of arrogant and ignorant leafools.
Deletedo i even want to know?

Jesus. I'm sure SFU will be all over that beeber thing. Too bad the fans didn't start an "It was 3-1!" chant.
ReplyDeleteI'm very thankful my girls are smart enough to know his music is pure trash. Leafs can fucking have him.
Ugh, enough with these talented, deep teams playing disciplined hockey as they prepare for their playoff runs. Bollocks!
ReplyDeleteI was going to post prior to this game that the reffing would be off the charts weird and fucked up.
ReplyDeleteOK I just saw what you were talking about. That is fucked up. That ref must be from N.C.
DeleteI just finished watching the latest episode of Picard. I think I'll find something else besides hockey.
ReplyDeleteWatching this PP is reminding me we don't have Dish or Eggs or Leko or Kadillak anymore.
ReplyDeleteEAP, Druid and of course, BBQ all unavailable too.
And Lep. How did I forget Lep?
DeleteI am not a Hoffman fan. Don't see what he brings most nights.
ReplyDeleteDamn, thought Powerhorse potted that one. Crossbar I guess.
ReplyDeleteI didn't watch any of that game last night. The incident with Allen I saw on Twitter. I refuse to watch any games Carolina plays, they are a trolling, classless organization, a true butt-man welfare team. Fuck'em, our time will come.
ReplyDeleteAgree 100%
DeleteCC aka Whiskey NHL rookie of the month, REM in 2nd.

DeleteDouche really screwed that kid over.
DeleteI hope to see CC aka Whiskey one day win the Rocket Richard trophy. I hate the thoughts of a sleazy dirtbag like narcos winning it.
