  1. The sublime Heather Thomas just turned 64.

Head to toe, one of the most beautiful women. A great follow on the Twitter machine.

    1. How have I never seen that HT M*A*S*H poster?! Teen Pad was a giant fan. I think I recall she was in a bad motorcycle accident back in the day?

I'll check her out on the twit machine.

    2. Everybody had that poster. Everybody who didn't have Farah Fawcett's poster anyway. Smokin'

SFU panel pre-game tonight : leaf, leaf, leaf, leaf. More leaf.

    Habs/Oilers: *cricket sounds*

Wayne Simmonds plays his 1000th game tonight. Watch for another Tie Domi sfu sploogefest. Good thing no former Habs star passed away today to be ignored by leaf media.

    1. Hilarious how the desperate SFU is so fucking obsessed with their local boys (all losers when they wear the shit-stained leaf jersey).

They all go down in history as losers. I find it amusing that even if they play a single game, they become leaf 'legends'. I saw the other day how phat phil is regarded as such. They couldn't fucking wait to trade him.

  4. And M we have lots of centers better than DDD. So why do we want more, and to complete the mastery they can get over the boards without a springboard. Although I hear we are hot on the prospects of some 5 foot six phenoms because all they do is score and be the best center any winger has every played with.

They have another DDD playing in Charlottetown, all 5'-6" of him. Xavier Simoneau.

  9. You know this is the national CBC broadcast, yet we get the Edmonton Regional broadcast crew. However they manage to be far more impartial than the 'national' crew from the CotU. Weird.

    2. I'd bet Toronto agrees.

      Delete
    3. Didn't look very pushed to me. Wideman's content didn't change his vector or momentum at all. He was going to interfere with the goalie (and not get penalized for it, stupid unwritten rule, NHL) anyway. BS, but like Marty, I'm glad I care again!

      Goid kill, boys! GYFHG

  13. MSL not happy with TO war room. Me neither but it's like, welcome to Montreal, Marty. That's what you get from COTU

  14. 1000% guaranteed if Gallagher is 'pushed' into the goalie in that exact manner, that is not a goal for the Habs.

  16. Damn. But he was clearly offside.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Oh fuck off with these offside challenges! Dumbest added rule of the Buttman era! Destroying the game.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Eat fucking shit.

  19. Oh man! Is Nature Ukrainian or something?! Love the moxie of repeating the move and scoring. He wanted that Goddamn goal.

  21. Oilers' power play is more like a possum play.

And Dauphin with a sweet Shortie!

  22. Another offside review???

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm putting a 3 minutes delay on goal celebrations.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Remember, there are challenges because refs continue to fuck up.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Helluva game. No LB, no Sevens, still no BBQ, TFS or Munster.

Flipper is flippin' the bird at all the coaches who never believed in him. Such a shame that shortie was offside. He's earning his place in the lineup. Impressing me more each game.

  26. Meanwhile there is also a good curling grudge match at the Brier on TSN. NB vs Team Canada. After winning last year, team Canada (from Alberta) fired their 3ed, who now plays for NB. And paying in his hometown off Lethbridge. Good stuff!

    Go NB!

Good morning FHFriends, a great evening indeed, Habs win leaf lose, always makes for a nice Sunday morning. I had to watch on a 2 hour delay hence no commenting from me. The pre-game was indeed pathetic, haharudey nearly in tears over Jack Campbell sucking for the last 3 weeks. What does he expect from a career backup goalie? Mrazek the same. Only Dumbass and the delusional SFU think their goaltending is great. Weren't they touting Campbell for the Vezina back in November? Ha Ha, their hubris knows no bounds. Fucking losers.

What a great game by the Habs last night. Habs fans were out in full force last night, dueling with Oilers faithful for loudest cheers, ultimately getting the last word when the latter left the building early. Mark Messier famously said when playing the Habs at home that, "we have to score early to take the crowd out of it". As usual, the biased fucks in tranna along with the incompetent refs tried to help Edmonton win the game, to no avail. Nature Boy would not be denied. I think the Habs finally, since the days of Vinnie Damphousse, have a No. 1 center.

Superman and the Flash are going to be swimming in picks and prospects in the next 2 weeks. Despite all the winning Montreal should be able to hang on to their top 3 pick.

    2. Oh shit! The JosΓ© Theodore special, eh? But I see from your update below it's much more severe. Mrs. SiM says Tramadol is a good heavy-hitter for pain that doesn't include any unwanted high-as-a-kite, nor great difficulty to get weaned-off once things heal. Hope you're back in shape soon.

  48. Getting a nerve block via a catheter for 5 days. It’s the following; called posterior paramedian subrhomboidal (PoPS) analgesia. A skin incision is made below the lowest fractured rib just paramedian to the spinus processes; a tunneling device is then used to work a catheter upwards under the rhomboids just past the highest fractured rib.

Dish on the move before Wednesday?

Out with a day to day upper body trade rumour?

    1. the Maritimer9:02 PM

How about Dish to Big D for Klingberg and a prospect or a pick, the logic being the Habs can let Klingberg go to UFA and get more cap space or, trade him immediately to someone else for more prospects? That's so crazy it just might work.

PFK getting $0 after this season. Don't worry he ain't coming back to Montreal, I would bet on the leaf, they love washed up homeboys (see: Thornton, Joe) even more the Habs (see: Briere, Daniel).

I'm pretty sure HuGo will be moving on from Shea Weber, they don't have the emotional attachment that bargainbin has(had).
