Nice interview on Splooge-Net with Engels and Clark Kent.
Insightful. Quiet confidence. Nice change from Bargen Bin.
Next couple of weeks should be interesting
    Go Habs

  2. Congrats to #10, GUY LAFLEUR, Le Demon Blonde, the Flower, on a well deserved induction into the Order of Hockey Canada! GUY, GUY, GUY!!!

And this thread is also for you. Get well! Kick cancer's ass.

Maurice Richard and Guy lafleur, two of the greatest right wingers of all time. Only Howe would rank above them. These are right wingers even Steve would like.

I won't even make the first period tonight. I'll record it and watch it tomorrow morning with coffee. Salut!

    1. Same...except I'll wait until after work of course...if the game script proves worthy of my oh so valuable time.

  5. Great thread. Thanks St. Pad.

Feeling pretty much the same. Meds and sleep help.

May go pick up some CBD cream tomorrow as I’m getting sharp nerve spikes.

  6. So it looks like the leaf loving media is already giving Nacho all the awards and the leafools are piling on. Pure propaganda.

Yep, it's sickening, as if that slimy douche is the best player in the whole league. Fuck that. The leaf will be gone in the first round as usual.

  7. Just dropping in to say I won't be dropping in. 3 am is too late for me. Been pulling shift work lately and it's messing with my mojo. Mom was in hospital last night and has been in de, line since eRly Jan. So I am struggling to focus on much. I love the new look Habs mind and I will catch the highlights tomorrow. Just fucking win!

Went to my first Sea Dogs game in over two years. Bathurst Titan was the opponent, I wanted to see Habs prospect Riley Kidney, he's not small and is very smooth. I think he has a shot if developed properly and has the drive to make it. Anyway, good game, two strong teams built to win now. Saint john prevailed 4-3 with a PP goal with about 2 minutes left. It felt good to go somewhere. You have to still wear a mask while seated, I didn't mind it's a minor inconvenience.

  11. Well I am fighting a nasty cold so Iwas asleep two hours prior to puck dropbut I see Leko and Shiny Happy Pitlick were holding hands at least. I'd love to see the Canucks push McDavid and Kane out of playoff contention.

    2. You remind me of how much worse shape I could be in. Hope you're on the mend from your spill and feeling less pain.

I am happy every time I see Marty St. Louis behind the Habs bench. It has to be what being released from jail feels like. Once again, a game worth watching. From what I can see, 7Evans, Potluck and Leko are the Habs second line. KidG and the Hoff, as long as they are centered by Larry Dolphin are a 3rd at best. It wasn't Full Monty's best night for sure, but that OK, losing with dignity is for the best in the current big picture.

Well now, the Habs and the Krakheads have this Saturday night to themselves on hnit. I wonder how many times mclame and his gang of leaf blowers will mention 'leaf' anyway?

    1. I caught the highlights but the meds knocked me out for 10 hours of decent/good sleep (less pain).

Looks like the leaf Vezina candidate is out so yeah, expect much SFU consternation.

I hear narcos is up for a Nobel prize as well as every NHL award according to the SFU.

Heh Heh, more stellar goaltending for the leaf. Should be lots of bead clutching and hand wringing by leafools and the SFU.

Yep, Amber, Stewie and fat fried-man all trying to solve leaf problems. They have no answers.

Hey, gCHuk scored for the Dogs, thanks man, appreciate the effort to help the Habs get that #1 pick.

Not hard to figure out which is the $81mil team and which is the $25mil team. The way Arizona coughed up a 4-1 lead I thought they were being coached by Julien. Ptew!

  18. A good night. Yotes manage the W vs the wretched leaf, despite blowing a nice lead. And the Krakheads Clae back with 3 in the 3rd vs the Sens and eke out a loser point. Good enough.

I pilfered this from EOTP, the last comment says it all...

    The JD Man:
Thank Heavens for the Hockey News and their article on Toronto having a goalie problem. What an expose!! How did they get this scoop on everyone?!

    HabinBurlington:
It's hardhitting journalists like this Stephens fellow at The Hockey News that really is refreshing. I mean the way he tackled head on the issue of Campbell having being playing injured in recent weeks while Mrazek was available to the take the net is impressive. How he also then correlates this issue back to the fact the Leafs had Andersen play through an injury last regular season is particularly impressive.
That this then helped the GM of Toronto and his team to make the correct decision in dumping Andersen in favour of Mrazek and the proven veteran in Campbell to lead the team forward this season is insightful information other journalists just wouldn't touch.
Here Here to The Hockey News!

    Avatar for theptbnl:
I think it is “…hear, hear..”

    HabinBurlington:
    Duly noted.

    ADKHabfan:
    You heard it here.

    Lafleurguy:
    Herd it.

    steel canuck:
I heard that in Toronto it really is 'here here'. I mean according to TSN, Sportsnet and the Hockey News is there even an 'anywhere' else?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Can you feel the SFU freaking out about Narcos being brutally attacked in OT and no resulting penalty, whilst Narcos whined like a 2 year old, as well as give up on the play (Selke moment gone to waste)?

SFU will try to propagandize this like they did with playoff cross-checking. Fucking crybaby sucks.

... (watch the suckers at hnit make it their focus tomorrow)

Narcos is a whiny bitch, remember him grinning while being horse collared by Chiarot? How did that work out? It didn't, only added to his reputation as a pussy. He looks like he should be in a police lineup ...

And yes, even though the fucking leaf don't even play tomorrow night they will get lots of air time from mclame and his gang of sycophants.

  22. the Maritimer2:34 PM

The wretched leaf will NEVER win with Narcos and Mitchy, they have ZERO CHaracter. Not even Johnny Toronto can lift those two up when the going gets tough. I predict both Boy Wonder and Young Sheldon will be gone after the leaf are eliminated in the 1st round again.

    1. Three things;

      1. I have watched next to zero hnit content since my last bullet point pre-game recap of their shitshow but because
there is no leaf game, I'll dive in

      2. When I suggest it'll get worse with these SFUckers, this is another example of them trying to affect gameplay, all
because of their team, it is fucking weird

      3. Ribs still very sore, sleep is 50/50

    2. the Maritimer5:18 PM

I'll record it and when they start the leaf shit, especially the fucking matthews crap, I start hitting the 30 second advance button. It usually only takes about 5 minutes to get through.

  23. Not sure if you noticed but the gal in the pic below Guy is eating ribs in moe's honour.

Keep on healing buddy. I hope sleep finds you.
