  1. Daughter and BF from Montreal over for dinner.

He's a Habs fan. I actually met him online before my daughter met him in high school. 15 years together.

He is part owner and head baker/pastry chef at https://helicopteremtl.com/. (and Hélico)

They are expanding their business. Think Big! (see if SiM gets that).

Maybe I'll meet SiM there this summer.

Filet mignon on the BBQ, garlic mashed, great bread, lots of cheeses and a strawberry+apple crumble (in the oven).

Will miss the hnit bukkake session. Wanna bet they mention the jays and raptors ?

Rest of Easter weekend is cancelled as my two sisters, Mom and brother are not coming due to Covid isolation+.

I'm boycotting the hnit bukkake, conscious decision, I'm totally sick of the leaf bias and pornstache worship. I'll probably watch the Sea Dogs game on early then catch the end of the habs game.

Mrs. Maritimer is down and out with ... something. Not Covid, possibly a stomach ailment, Norwalk virus is prevalent around here. We are supposed to go out for Easter dinner tomorrow, we'll see.

  4. I watched the end of the pregame as McLame had a interview with Trottier about Bossy. Trottier had very heartwarming words. Good bit but then McLame ends the interview with "We're not all fans of the Islanders, but..."

That's fucking weird right? Why say that? We know you're all non-partisan professional journalists 🙄 who don't cheer for any specific team.

Wow, that's really bad. It's time mclame joined the old crotch on the sidelines.

  5. What kind of piece of shit league let's a guy like Wilson run around like a head hunting crazoid and then penalize Anderson for trying to stop it before he ends Evans' career?

    1. And I saw the stat that he has drawn the most penalties since...can't recall the date but it's been years. So he's been doing this for years and retaliatory actions get the call every time it seems.

  6. I was thinking I miss Lego and we have nothing to show for the trade that sent him to the Caps.

But I was wrong. Got a 2nd in '17 (Ikonen) and a 2nd in '18. That pick was traded to the Oilers for a 3rd and 5th. The 3rd round pick? Jordan Harris.

And of course the beginning of that trade tree is Jaro to St Loo for Lego. So Halak has given us Harris. I'm a fan of trade tree investigating.

How can you let a guy just stand there in front of your net? Nick did nothing. This team really, really needs to work on defensive zone coverage.

  8. EAP hasn't scored 4 since his debut. If he repeats that feat tonight,... we still lose by one.

Two more weeks of this? Ugh.

I hope it's just the fact they aren't really trying anymore but that is a really static PK, no aggressiveness whatsoever. They don't try to disrupt anything. Just let the other team pass around at will. Just awful. It's almost like douche is back coaching. Or not coaching. Whatever he did.

    Anyway, I'm out.

  11. #20 for Nick. That's something.

  12. At least Nature got his 20th.

  13. Happy Easter everyone. Nice that Nature got his 20th. Now Whiskey needs 20 and TFS needs a win for the season to be of any value.

Happy Easter, it would be nice if Whiskey could get to 20, and Price will get a win.

Looking at the standings this morning, it appears the Habs could be safely in the bottom two, the Krappen are 3 points up with two games in hand. Arizona though, they are the tank kings for sure but Shane Wright could 'Lindros' them and refuse to go there. Does he want to play in a junior rink for 5 more years? How about this scenario: Wright tells Arizona in advance he doesn't want to play there, the Habs offer the #2 pick and a sweetener and Hughes gets who he wants. The buttman loses again.

Montreal Canadiens have lost 700 man games to injury this season, I didn't even think that was possible.

Still 6 games to be played, they should set a record that will stand for decades.

  16. Pez dispensed for 2 games by DoPS. I like the call. It's what I'd want to see if a Hab was on the wrong end of this. I just have very little faith that would in fact be the case.

Looks like 31st place is a lock. I only see two winnable games, versus the phuckers and the 'turds.
