1) Fire or retire mclame. 2) Get a new host who is not from Ontario or grew up a leaf fan. 3) Replace the panel with a martimer, a Quebecer (Carbo or M-PP), a westerner and a neutral Ontarian. 4) Each Canadian team playing Saturday is allotted an equal amount of time for discussion/dissection. Discuss a player from each team on a rotating basis week to week.
This should be mandated by the CRTC through the CBC network. Enough of Bell and Rogers calling the shots through their leaf biased lenses. They can do whatever they want on the regional broadcasts.

The profit-driven aspect needs to die for it to stop being Toronto-centric. Fund the CBC properly and get someone foreign to run it, like Jon Stewart, who knows the medium but has no personal stake.
I love how American kids seem more ready to embrace French than most Canadian players (esp from out West). I thought learning a little French was standard across Canada but it seems a lot more like Ontario and the Maritimes.
I have figured out the goalie interference rule and it is simple. If a Montreal goalie gets run and the puck goes in, it's a goal. If a Montreal skater runs an opposing goalie and the puck goes in, it's no goal. That's it, that's the rule.
So I am back in Blighty after 10 days in Oshawa looking after my Mom. She is still hanging in there and has a palative care ward looking after her every need. Not gonna lie it has been a killer 10 days but my journey is nothing compared to hers. I did manage to catch a couple Habs games including them beating the fucking leaf. All the games were good except the shutout and I am excited for next year... Missed you guys and I will be dropping back in more often as you guys are the best. GYFHG!

I learned today that Anthony Stewart's biggest regret is that he didn't get to play for the Habs. Because his dad is a huge fan. This was after listening to the two of them circle jerk Marnthews. Thing is they're also very easy to tune out.
Ok, so out of pure masochism, I, way, way, way back tried to listen to an (only one) episode of Overdrive. A total pukefest. I don't give a shit what he has 'won' but O'dog is a fucking turd, Hayes (I think he's an east coaster) sucks toronto off way too hard (to keep his job) and for shats and gaggles I had a little set-to with Bubbles or whatever nickname that clown Mcgoalie guy has on the twitter machine. I told him that his opinion on goaltending was diarrhea. He blocked me. The only thing I have/will check out is the odd toilet bowl circling hnit. I haven't touched their websites in ages but of course people link to them in twitter. I keep telling marek and fried man that they are leaf asswipe sucking clowns. I guess they don't block people. This has been moe 'the scat machine'.
The ONLY credit I will give to that Overdrive crew, which I check out in small doses from time to time is the fact that they freely admit to being leaf lovers (and all things Toronto). This is marginally better than most of the on air idiots that go out of their way to try to tell us the 'are professionals' and therefore not a fan of any team.
And I don't know one way or the other but I'm saying Hayes is not allowed to be from the east coast.
Ken Reid on SN now is a true Bluenoser and one of the best and unbiased personalities they have on. Tim and Friends is bearable especially when Ken is on. I at least haven't seen him fawning over the wretched leaf.
While on the SFU topic, I'm going out on a limb here and guessing that Rogers and Bell have invested heavily in the online gambling business. Because Holy fuck, they each flog the betting aspect of sports waaaaay too much. And this from a guy that likes to gamble.
