We've given him a hard time over the years, along with everybody else, but Phil Kessel deserves a big kudos for setting the iron man record tonight. The guy's been through lots, including surviving cancer.
Now he should just make a deal with Oscar Meyers pedalling their new hotdog fortified with iron.
KidA is tripped and slides into Fleury who rips his helmet off. Gallagher gets up yelling at the ref who tells him to get to the bench or get a penalty for playing with no helmet (I'm assuming this last part). This is why sadly BG could never have worn the C. No respect from the wretched zebras.
Army's been out with an injury bt I've seen good effort from all the others. It's strange how ineffective Devo and Hoff are particularly. Druid is playing super wimpy, like scared of contact, and Lep has been unlucky. Most of teams they've faced so far have had excellent goaltending too.
Seems to be a recurring problem with Montreal, no finish to their game. Guys like Hoff, Dvo and Lep are playing hard but they are a one and done bunch. Drouin is done, washed up, I highly doubt he ever gets another NHL contract. Anyway, as has been said, we need another year of losing to complete the rebuild. Then we'll see how it goes.
