A real snoozefest. Haven't watched much...channel surfing between football, curling and other more interesting games. Sadly the Canucks suck and are losing to FLA.
Yeah, boring shite, Jax getting pummeled, might have to switch to leaf/broonz *gag* at least they look like they are interested in something. Maybe I'll find a junior game.
I was at a double bday party for my step-daughter and grandson, thankfully, it appears. At least the Leafs also lost. Heard some of the game on the radio on the trip home. Need to see what happened with Sevsns.
I see it was from their #1 centre crushing his knee. At least it wasn't another concussion but damn, we don't have a surfeit of NHL-ready centres around. Hope he isn't out too long.
It appears the Giants and the Habs are playing at the same time today. Habs are in NY, the Giants on the road in Minny. There will be lots of flipping back and forth. Go Habs! Go Giants!
Agreed, Giants keep it close if Jones doesn't commit too many turnovers. The Habs take a thumping unless the Rags don't take them seriously. I wonder who's in net? Allen? I would give Monty the back to back rather than see Primeau lit up.
Wow, couple of great pics of the Gumper, hacking a butt and bringing the pain. Can't believe the goalies used to play without masks, course the game might have been a little slower but anyway. Do we have any info on the Iron Kaiden knee? Surgery? Hope not. Go Habs
Raquel equals three beauties of today. I dont care how you frame it, I dont care how your wife fees yes you could in the day say I would rather have married Raquel. Then you would git overit,
I gotta say Picture my face, thats it picture my face before the fake became your beauty
I dunno, the Rags have a good defence, decent offence and a great goalie. Plus the coach that Florida kicked to the curb that's in NY now is pretty darn good.
I said anybody but the Dolphins getting in...but if they can take down the mighty Bills, I'm good! Probably how folks felt about any team playing they Patriots in the Brady era.
So Minnesota just signed Matt Boldy to a $7x7 contract. Boldy was chosen 12th overall, three spots ahead of Caufield. He's played 32 fewer games than Cole. His career average of about 0.75 ppg is better than Cole's 0.69 ppg, but if you look at this year with CC being totally freed he is scoring at a 0.82 ppg pace, while Boldy is 0.69 ppg.
While there are more factors when deciding a player's worth, using this signing as a reference, the Habs would be EXTREMELY lucky if Caufield is generous enough to sign at the same rate as his good buddy Nick's $7.875 per.
Aside from the coming trades, that contract is the next big question mark.
So long Tom, enjoy your 'retirement' ... without Gisele. What's that, you're going to go play with the Raiders? Are you nuts? Well, maybe you can meet your next partner in Vegas I guess.
Watched the goat for years with New England not that I cheered for anything Baston but he and the organization was such a slick well oiled machine. I would marvel at how the club would lose people every year and every year they would be replaced with new talent. When he went to Tampa I was curious about the move but with Gronk and some others he pulled it off. That was the time to hang them up. But no. So now he has lost the girl, lost the family and now he is a looser at a sport he dominated. So what the fuck do you do now, quit a looser? Something tells me no so this sad sunset to an epic career will just fade to black. Sad. CHester knew when to pack it in. When he was 12 he retired from hockey and went out a winner... I digress. Anyway, Go Bills. Been a fan ever since Marv Levy left The Als for Buffalo. Further digression. I'll stop now. Go Habs
G.I. Finn, 7Evans and Slowkovsky all to IR, no losses there other than Jake, he was playing good D even if he wasn't scoring. REM and RHP won't really change anything, stay the course steady as she goes. I don't think the Habs will get a top 5 pick unless they get some lottery luck but thye should get a Grade A prospect who I hope will simmer in the lower leagues for a while. No need to rush the newbies, they've got plenty of youngsters on the way. I truly hope they decide to keep Sean Monahan, he would be far more valuable than Colorado's 1st rounder in 2023. He takes so much pressure off Suzuki plus he's still a relatively young 28.
Start spreadin' the news...
ReplyDeleteWall st vs St Catherines, it a slam dunk in basketballl. Go slow GO slow Habs GO
ReplyDeleteNice spread Moe.
ReplyDeleteGo Habs! But not too hard.
Go Nucks!
Missed the first period but this is a pretty dull affair.

Deleteleaf lose so there is that.
ReplyDeletesenaturds lose by a touchdown looks good on them.
ReplyDeleteA 2-1 loss, no shame there, shorthanded up front, only a few passengers tonight that I could see, I'm OK with the result.
ReplyDeleteWow. I stuck with the football game...LA up 27-0 before halftime and lose 31-30 on a last second FG!
ReplyDeleteI was at a double bday party for my step-daughter and grandson, thankfully, it appears. At least the Leafs also lost. Heard some of the game on the radio on the trip home. Need to see what happened with Sevsns.

ReplyDeleteShould be a good game. Too close to call but I think Giants fall just short. Habs...well I don't see this being a good day.
DeleteAgreed, Giants keep it close if Jones doesn't commit too many turnovers. The Habs take a thumping unless the Rags don't take them seriously. I wonder who's in net? Allen? I would give Monty the back to back rather than see Primeau lit up.
Deletea good loss

Go Habs
Pretty sure that's a beer Gumper is having with that dart. After game or intermission, hard to tell...
DeleteNah, it's a Canada Dry. Awesome pics indeed.
DeleteWTF is going on in Buffalo? Another monumental choke job?
ReplyDeleteRaquel equals three beauties of today. I dont care how you frame it, I dont care how your wife fees

My teenage self would watch any movie with Raquel, Sophia Loren or Ann-Margret.
DeleteJust saw the lineup for today's game .... LOL the 4th line
ReplyDeleteThe Rags are under the same mgmt we had 3 or four years in advace,. I am sorry to be the messagere but this rags team is neve winning the cup
ReplyDeleteI dunno, the Rags have a good defence, decent offence and a great goalie. Plus the coach that Florida kicked to the curb that's in NY now is pretty darn good.
DeleteI said anybody but the Dolphins getting in...but if they can take down the mighty Bills, I'm good! Probably how folks felt about any team playing they Patriots in the Brady era.
ReplyDeleteBills eeked it out. Their D needs work.
DeleteHabs and Giants looking good early.
ReplyDeleteBest part of the NYG game, no fucking tony romo clown comments.
I know he's an ex-Cowboy but Darryl 'Moose' Johnson is a good colour guy.
DeleteI liked Tony when he was new and 'refreshing'. Now he's a broken record for the most part.
DeleteI've been most impressed with Kirk Herbstreit, the Thursday Night football colour guy. He also does lots of college ball.
Tight game at the half. Giants not looking bad.
Habs actually playing pretty well. Monty has found his early season mojo. Maybe he strives on being THE guy.
Good to see Barron starting to put it together too.
DeleteMy bad, it's Greg Olsen tonight, another TE, Carolina I think?
DeleteSpeaking of TEs, if your team loses it will be in large part due to TE TJ Hockenson. Down to the last 1/4 though and still in the lead.
DeleteDaCHtah on the PP!
ReplyDeleteRIP Gino Odjick.
ReplyDeleteRIP to one tough bastard.
DeleteRIP, he made the Habs tougher to play against.
DeleteAnother gone too soon.
DeleteThis Giants/Vikes game is going to come down to a late field goal I feel. Jones and Co. have hung in there on the road.
ReplyDeleteWhiskey!
ReplyDeleteGiants just won't go away...
ReplyDeleteHabs win. Giants looking good. Not a bad day if you're the Maritimer.
ReplyDeleteFucking bullshit penalty
ReplyDeleteWhat a Sunday!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats and super happy for Mme. theM.
DeleteUnfortunately I am still recovering from Covid and still have really low energy. She will have to wait...
DeleteDaniel Jones was exceptional today. Giants D was tremendous. They deserved to win that game.
ReplyDeleteI switched over to watch the end of the Habs victory, Full Monty might have just stole the starting goalie job, temporarily at least.
Whiskey is a star!
Great team effort. Monty put in 6 very solid periods in 25 hours!

I would guess $8 × 8.
DeleteSign him for the same as Nature.
DeleteOuf, dilemma, brady or dallas. Go Tampa.
