    1. Me either, nothing like that where I play.
Got 53 rounds in despite being gone for 3 weeks during the summer. I'm going to try for a couple more but it's looking pretty wet for this week.

  3. The Eagles are putting the boots to the sad sack Giants, payback for beating them earlier in the season. Oh well, another good draft pick coming up and probably no more Brian Daboll.
Thankfully my hockey team has had a huge improvement (so far) and are fun to watch again. No more eMTy headed chokula clod coaches to ruin these up and coming young stars.

  9. Way to go Dodgers!

I'm no longer a baseball fan, but I am an Ohtani fan. That guy must have been grown in a lab. He really should be nicknamed Godzilla. He's the king, without doubt.

  14. come on uk3x! stay up! itll be worth it!! us west coasters have to put up with your sunday footie matches each wk, even when u go play against brighton, albion, and hove!

point of contention: stop it with the manufactured media BS! there is no controversy! doobie is the man and will be the man until the lil ducker is brought up to challenge. thank-you for honouring our west coast heritage, but im not blowing smoke up anywhere. i proclaim this the start of his reign. long live king doobie!

My last round of the season, doctor appt. tomorrow, going to Moncton Thursday, rain on Friday, refuse to play on the weekend cause it's too freakin' slow. Also, much too cold, so many layers it's hard to swing a club. I had a good season, I'm ready to take a few months off.

  22. I see fron the boxscore we all missed a banger, and Whiskey owns the CH all-time record for OT goals at 11, ecllipsing MaxPac and Howie Morenz. And 6 out of 8 pts on a Western road trip. Well done

    ReplyDelete
  23. Just watched the hilites on the youtube. Made it more interesting than they needed but I think 2 of the goals against went off of RoCH Carriere's stick.
Just another ho-hum 3 assist night for the captain who leads the league in that cagetory and is tied for 4th in points. But yes, let's have the Toronto media keep debating whether he should be on Team Canada.
Whiskey is tied for goals at 9.
Man they are deadly at 3 on 3. 4 of their 8 wins are in OT. No shootouts yet if memory serves.
That Slaf goal where he was in the slot and it was bang-bang. So quick and smooth by Suzuki and Caufield. Slaf is finally starting to find his place on that line and playing well with and (mostly) without the puck. I'd just like to see him use his big frame a bit more to punish guys in the corners.

Doobie is 6-0. Numbers took a bit of a hit last night, giving up 3 on 21 shots. But like i say I'm pretty sure 2 of the goals were friendly fire. One was for sure.

I have a buddy who says he doesn't trust this winning business. LOL. I know what he means, like it's not real, it's not real, it's not real...it's also about trying not to get one's hopes up too high.

On another note, it doesn't look like Sid will be fleeing the igloo after all with the Pens off to just as hot a start as the Habs.

  24. I love how the Habs have become the last team in the league you wanna go into OT with.

Lots of leaders on the team.
Need to spread the wealth of points.

  27. Love this comment from Brian Wilde.

"They don’t know how to make the game boring when they have a lead yet."

So true, and when they do and realize they don't need to score another when up 3-0 in the third, they will complete their evolution to an all around great (not good) team.

  29. Someone...might be BWilde - raised a good point. Habs need to learn how to kill off games. They were pressing on the 3rd when they needn't have been -;got themselves on trouble and made it more interesting than it needed to be. That will come with time...in MSL I believe!

What has happened to Canada's team
    Hmmmm strokes chin

  33. A few random thoughts waiting for the next Habs game :
leaf lose, poor Johnny toronto scores his 500th, nobody watching, boo hoo.
Because of the boorish U.S. ambassador's bad behaviour trying to gaslight Canadian citizens, I guess I can get behind a Blue Jays win, fuck him.
Fowler gets another shutout last night, Laval wins.
Crybaby Josh sent down, I really don't think he's NHL material. Best find him a new home soon.
Next Tuesday's game should be interesting -- Demigod vs Bitchkov -- plus, it's fun to rub CC in Philthy fans faces, they took Cam York the pick before. Thank you Ron Hextall. I think.
    Go Habs Go ! !

  34. Anonymous11:33 AM

The reason and I don't like the jays and hate the leaf is mainly due to the SFU (and some of the lea fools).
The jays also helped screw the Expos.
Having said that, should the jays win, a first since 1993, well, something else happened in 1993 ...

FWIW, it is hilarious to see the sfu squeeze really hard to buff their leaf with the jays winning ways.

Except for playing in the same city, there’s absolutely zero comparison to be made.
