I'd really like to trash those two donkey refs pictured above calling off two Habs goals, probably with glee internally, but the ultimate fault lies with the biased fucks in tranna.
As far as getting a veteran center goes, in retrospect, Pizza Phil was probably the better choice. He's played in Montreal before and will likely blend in quicker than say, a Ryan O'Reilly. Plus, ROR would have cost a lot more than a 2nd round pick. Danno won't block a possible Sid acquisition later in the season either. DaCH will go to the wing when he gets back. Joey V. goes to the press box. Beck goes back to Laval but he is very, very close. Tex becomes the new 'Sauce' playing with Danno and Lep.
You want to talk insiders for the Habs, Marco D'Amico called this trade last week. And pissed off Dano's agent in the process (which is awesome).
Andhe made a very good point that even if Dano just serves to relieve Suzuki of some of the tough 5v5 matchups, this is a good deal. And for the extra 2nd rounder...well I say pizza all around!
Consistent passion and a conviction in what they are trying to do. I loved it when Auston Matthews held his hand to his ear after tying the Chicago game. At his best, Matthews has a swagger, an edge and a smirk to him. We haven’t seen enough of that this season.
fried man likes to think he knows hockey. True fans know what Dano brings and it is way more than fried man’s entire ‘thought’…
There will be opportunity for Danault back in La Belle Province, where he blossomed after a 2016 trade from Chicago. Number to watch: his shooting percentage. First three years in Los Angeles: the best of his career, led by a 13.9 in 2021-22. Last year: the worst (6.5), with this year obviously tracking below. Offence is not Montreal’s problem, and maybe he rides the wave.
I was just about , and then came the doubt, and aftere that no memory. Gotta say signifintaly if one player can sit on the right side of the tettertotter can every child on the other side be more beautiful and handsome.
You know in 2025 there is no hiding the truth. Bill Clinton was some kind of horn dog. But now matter lets talk about the truth and I have to say, I like how things might play our way. It remindes me of the same task the Blues Brothers faced, and they could not even imagine Demideau in a playoff round. Seriously Demidieu at 22 is going to be making both sides just rest and the boards and watch him score.
Never played goal. Never knew a serious goalie. Sammy is a puzzle but it may be all in the video. The gear down guys have a hotspot on Monty that he can not cool down. I have no idea how that is possible but the facts say otherwise.
I don't know Danno's family situation but getting traded a couple days before Christmas has to be rough. I would guess he will be flying right back to L.A. after Tuesday night's game. Then I would guess back across the country to Florida after Boxing Day.
Pittsburgh at Montreal, Sidney Crosby could pass Mario in all time points for 8th overall. Sid grew up a Habs fan. Montreal, an exciting up and coming high scoring team. What's the 'national' game tonight? leaf at Nash(Dulls)ville. Go figure.
Reminiscent of the Canadiens honouring Boom Boom Geoffrion on the day of his passing and hnit electing to show the leaf honouring goon Domi for his 1000th game instead. Talk about a lack of class.
Those were a couple of beauties by Slaf and Beck. Skinner wasn't stopping either of those. I'm not sure the 'whore' room in tranna won't find a way to take Beck's back. Anyway, good start to this game. I hope they play the second period the same way.
L'Homme Run
ReplyDeleteHah!
DeleteBest part of the Dano deal is fried man had no fucking clue.
ReplyDeleteInsider? Pfft.
DeleteI'll leave any joke about what he might be inside of to your imagination.
He never does.
DeleteAll those 'insiders' are a joke.

I asked they hire Carbo. Dano can do the job of helping/teaching faceoffs.
DeleteThe Bird is the word.
ReplyDeleteMath in, no Strobe
DeleteGreat news.
DeleteCrosby gets a little break; Dano only expected to join his mates Tuesday in Boston.
DeleteToo funny, now the supposedly neutral, unbiased fried man yips about ConsterNation.
ReplyDeleteUnbiased?
DeleteHah! That is indeed, too funny!
He loves his nachos …

That's vomit-inducing leaf worshipping bias.
DeleteHe has Zelenskyis speach witer. Why else would we have given 20 billion to Ukraine?

Hah, nice touch moeman, with the "by Hugo" added on the carton.

WTF is with all these stats in calendar year? When and why did that become a thing?
ReplyDeleteI blame gambling.
… and the moronic use of ‘expected’.
Delete100th point for FastLane !
ReplyDeleteI didn't see 7Evans get hurt.
ReplyDeleteBeck might be staying up after all.
Sorry Crosby's teammate high-sticked him in the face but that wasn't worthy of a whistle with the puck on a Habs stick heading straight for the slot.
ReplyDeleteShort horse !
ReplyDeletePowerhorse!

ReplyDeleteSucks to be you Sid.
ReplyDeleteWas just thinking, Engstrom's name should be The Answer.
ReplyDeleteI starting to wonder if Dubas trading for Skinner was a stealth tank move.
ReplyDeleteHow’s bout dem refs ?
ReplyDeleteWe've enjoyed some quality reffing lately.
ReplyDeleteSome of these refs should be redacted.

ReplyDeleteDon't you dare say it gawley you arsehole.
ReplyDeleteFUCK OFF!!
DeleteWHOO HOOO!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Birdman gets his first win on Bell Centre ice in style. Nice SO kid! Cool as ice
ReplyDeletePornstache -3 and no scoring in a 5-3 loss of his Laff.
ReplyDeleteOuch
DeleteWhat a leader.
DeleteThey should strip the C from him.
DeleteFirst W with Dano on the roster since 2021.
ReplyDeleteBeauty moment for the young bird.
ReplyDelete9 points in the last 6 games despite depleted line-up and tough schedule too.
ReplyDeleteMonty might as well stay in Laval.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Birdman is going back.
Canuckles beat the beaners in SO.
ReplyDeleteVancouver wins in a shootout. Just one point for Broons.
ReplyDeleteAnd with the Buffalo win, the leaf are now below them in the standings.
ReplyDeleteleaf are dead last in Atlantic.
DeleteSweet.
I hope they get hammered in Dallas tomorrow night.
DeleteMaybe they will get hammered after the game, to numb the pain.
Penguins sinking like a rock. Can't wait to see Sid in a Habs uniform in March.
