Agree POS I remember him spitting on us from afar Two faced mofo So CHesters predictions Ax will demolish stitzel the diver The orc will cheap shot someone He is so due And that pos cousins will get into trouble with little Ax just because he's a pos The Glorious Habs will prevail because we are the good guys and the Snores are dirty low down no goods from the wrong side of the river Go Habs
The measuring tape is not long enough for this game. Win or we lose. I dont care about how many bag skates you do, we are not beating the AVs for the cup, but it sure would be nice to be the team from the east for the sacrifice.
The defensive coverage has been suspect the past few games to say the least. Looks like the Habs teams we used to see that would panic in their own zone and always failed to clear the puck.
I don't always enjoy Engels' stories but he nailed it last night with this:
This game was supposed to stoke a rivalry that had already burned white-hot from the pre-season punch-up in Quebec City through the first regular-season bout at the beginning of November. Every Canadiens player we spoke with in the morning seemed prepared to add another log to the fire.
But the home team ended up dropping a big one in the toilet.
What an embarrassing display of defensive ineptitude to put on in front of the General. They better bring a fucking better showing for his night tonight. He could have easily dressed last night and been the best player on the ice. Hell, I still say sign him to a contract, play him 10 games, even at 8 minutes per night and get him his 1000 games.
I think steve had the best analogy of how Marty has them playing defence -- a dog chasing a car. That, plus shoddy goaltending leads to results like last night. Ottawa was all over them and they couldn't keep up. I turned it off at 4-1, I don't need fancy analytics to tell me what my eyes see.
Fucking SN felt it better to have their idiot talking heads yapping on about shit rather than show the Markov tribute. I finally clued in and found RDS about midway (I think) through the video portion before the General was introduced.
“I always believed this is the best place to play hockey…To the fans: merci. You made this place feel like home. Your energy, your love for the game, it will always stay with me…Montreal, je vous aime.”
Heck of a game. Even though we were blessed with no Gary Gawley, I took a pass on the SN broadcast after they passed on the Markov tribute and watched on RDS. I catch enough of the lingo. I did watch SN for a few minutes, Colby Armstrong doing the colour, talking about his 'good buddy' Gallagher a lot was all I got. Not sure if he's a great analyst, but beats the hell out of the Hab hating Gawley.
Brian Wilde has been hot on Slafkovsky for some time now. And for good reason. It seems like it's all starting to click for him. Even the move back to the top line and he looked like a different player with those guys, driving the play in many instances. It's good to see. He needs to be the strong, skilled, physical player we all hoped he would be.
Onhockey..tv is reliable but I have to watch on my monitor. Kodi has not worked well for a week, may have to reload it. However Daddylive worked last night.
Slafzilla destroys the tanks with his lazer beam shots. Demdieu is inching closer to being a highlight reel every shift. I say hold the fort unless St Louis will give us Robert Thomas for a bag of puck. Also everyone must know you can never have to many D man. If Goule is going to be a 60 game man so be it.
So I went into my Bell account and was going to add RDS to my channels, $4 a month, no biggie but lo and behold you HAVE to get RDS2 as well now it's $8 per month plus HST. No thanks, I'll just turn the sound off when watching the S F U channels. Funny, I can actually see things happening on the ice better when I don't have someone screaming at me all the time through the TV. Or hearing all the colour bullshit.
My lifelong untreated AHDH has me at the point where I am fine with the Summary. I get up early go directly to the replay, if there is a fight or hit I miss its on Twitter. My biggest complaint is the highest level of hockey is 720 P because its the NHL and its HD is still a unnkown, will people actually have the equipent to view this 1080 P stuff on?
I had my annual vision check up on Tuesday. My doctor told me I have cataracts but not bad enough (yet) to bother fixing them. I've noticed I don't see things as clearly as I used to. I have a couple of 4K channels for sports, I can see a slight difference but I wouldn't spend a fortune upgrading my TV.

ReplyDeleteI may have blurred out craigfuckingrivet's face.
ReplyDeleteGeneral Vodkov, we miss you brother!
ReplyDeleteDo we not like Rivet? He of the famous trade tree that ultimately landed us our current captain?
I predict an OT win tonight.
And Winnipeg is fragile and ready for the taking, so probably a loss tomorrow.
I'm not sure what happened with Rivet. I don't recall anything bad unless it has something to do with his politics?
DeleteWhen he went to Buffalo, he dissed Montreal as a shitty city and not just because of the weather. POS in my book.
DeleteAgree POS
DeleteI remember him spitting on us from afar
Two faced mofo
So CHesters predictions
Ax will demolish stitzel the diver
The orc will cheap shot someone
He is so due
And that pos cousins will get into trouble with little Ax just because he's a pos
The Glorious Habs will prevail because we are the good guys and the Snores are dirty low down no goods from the wrong side of the river
Go Habs
How about that sexy ‘end’ pic ?!
ReplyDeleteNice! I can't make out what kind of car it is though.
DeleteI didn’t notice the car.
DeleteIts a Porshe Cayenne.
DeleteThe measuring tape is not long enough for this game. Win or we lose. I dont care about how many bag skates you do, we are not beating the AVs for the cup, but it sure would be nice to be the team from the east for the sacrifice.
ReplyDeleteI watched ep one of Stranger Things in the dental chair, and I liked it.
ReplyDeleteTurds first line left winger belongs on that show, Fabian Zetterlund
The Habs are only 6 points from picking 3rd overall. Just sayin'...
ReplyDeleteGenerals and Majors always
ReplyDeleteSeem so unhappy unless they've got a war...
(LOVE THAT SONG)
Mtl-Ott should make 'em happy.
It's gonna be a war. GYFHG!
I thought tonight was the Vodkov celebration.
ReplyDeleteNope. Tomorrow.
DeleteI thought it odd it was vs Winnipeg rather than Ottawa.
Thx
DeleteCash it!
ReplyDeleteLastSlaf!
ReplyDeleteLooked like Matheson had his stick whacked out of his hands there.
ReplyDeleteEller's a shit
ReplyDeleteKill it!
ReplyDeleteHow’s ‘bout dem refs ?
ReplyDeleteBeauties.
DeleteNo call when our captain gets hooked, nor when Dobber gets cross-checked in the the side of the head. Fun times.
DeleteMonty went down early. Sad but he's responsible for both Ottawa goals.
ReplyDeleteVegas game probably an anomaly.
DeleteThe Senators are a bunch of lttle shits, in the image of their captain.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what kind of goaltending that is.
ReplyDeleteThe defensive coverage has been suspect the past few games to say the least.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the Habs teams we used to see that would panic in their own zone and always failed to clear the puck.
That's part of it. Growing pains
DeleteMonty not very good but in fairness his team looks pretty shitty in front of him.
ReplyDeleteCan't make a pass.
They got nothing tonight.
And saying that .... I'm out.
They need Vodkov.
ReplyDeleteNature!
ReplyDeleteOh Captain.
DeleteHow’s ‘bout dem refs ?
ReplyDeleteZebras win again
ReplyDeletePOS refs.

ReplyDeleteI heard a strange noise this moring, that cant have be a T-72 or worse a Lepord.
ReplyDeleteJFC, what time does this game start?
ReplyDeleteWhen the Generals Talk
ReplyDeleteSo great for DemiDieu to be there for this. I bet he's chuffed.
DeleteGreat, brief, humble, touching speech. Vodkov is the class of his homeland.
ReplyDeleteNice. Should’ve had some flowers for the family.
DeleteFucking SN felt it better to have their idiot talking heads yapping on about shit rather than show the Markov tribute.

Hopefully it will be on YouTube later.
DeleteI'll look tomorrow.
I can't watch, too beat up from last night's fiasco.
How’s bout dem refs.
ReplyDeleteGetting goalied.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't bode well.
How’s bout dem linesmen waving Habs out of the circle
ReplyDeleteSo the sfu didn’t show the Markov celebration ?
ReplyDeletePièces of pure 💩!
Probably because he said this.
DeleteAndrei Markov to Habs fans at the Bell Centre:
“I always believed this is the best place to play hockey…To the fans: merci. You made this place feel like home. Your energy, your love for the game, it will always stay with me…Montreal, je vous aime.”
Slaf!
ReplyDeleteTick tack Slaf !

Are you still doing IPTV?
DeleteI've got to add RDS to my TV package to get away from sportsbet and the awful brian mudryk on tsn.
Onhockey..tv is reliable but I have to watch on my monitor. Kodi has not worked well for a week, may have to reload it. However Daddylive worked last night.
DeleteYes and it's reliable 95% of the time. I'll be switching to a new provider once this one runs out in January.

ReplyDeleteI just watched the Markov tribute on YouTube, very nice moment.
ReplyDeleteRogers/sportsbet are a hateful, spiteful organization.
They continue to live up to the acronym we gave them S F U !

ReplyDeleteToo many ups and downs for this old fan.
It's good to take a break once in a while.
