Saint Paddy10:49 AM I see ratface was 'injured' playing the leaf last night. Imagine that, he might not be available to face the consequences for his dirty hit on Math vs the Habs tomorrow...
Habs' goal differential is at zero. Goes without saying that it's imperative that they keep scoring more than they give up to up that number. But they need the consistency and must get the goals against down to a respectable number (generally no more than 3 per game), whether they are winning or losing. Gotta stop with the 5,6,7 goals against games. Hopefully Guhle can stay healthy and help in this department and whichever goalie gets the crease continues to improve and keep the softies out of the net (here's looking at you Sam!).
These three home games are all winnable. 4 of 6 points is a must. I expect 5 of 6. Hope for 6 of 6 without giving a point to the division rivals.
Thanks for the Mustang nod ... the first two are little too gaudy for my tastes ... the last one with the wing on the back, I would take it despite that. Pretty sure that's a GTD model, around 850HP and costs about $350k US. Yikes!
I dont know how to say it in French but they are the team hearts, signed for a decent amount with a huge hometown discount. Unlike the core four who wanted money in the door.

He's loving the attention I wouldn't put anything past him now Let's see what he does with that country now Murica is great at sending planes Now what Go Habs
Future Hart winner wouldn't surprise me. I'm so glad Guerin didn't pick him for Team USA cuz the fire this'll light under his scrawny ass is gonna be legendary.
It's like he just did a speedball Wild eyes prob sweating So I think our no 2 C search should be put on the back burner The Kapster is meshing in just fine with Slav and Demi I mean if something falls into Hugo's lap ok fine but The Glorious Habs are clicking baybee Nothing is broke nothing requires fixing We are holding our own at the top of the standings with large morsels missing Some folks are gonna spend time in the stands but heehaw it's a great ride Go Glorious Habs
There have only been a handful of players from France to play in the NHL. Huet and Texier, it turns out, were born in the same city of Saint-Martin-d'Hères. Which is only about 260km to the Olympic venue as the crow flies.
This brought a long gone memory of "A Bunch of Guys from France" from a tv show in the 70s or 80s. I had to look it up. It's from Laverne and Shirley. https://youtu.be/_WItk4nozDg?si=9m-YjXmr00UGpllO
Tim Bozon was the guy I was thinking of. His father played for St. Louis and Tim was born there but raised in France. Bozon was drafted by Montreal but I can't remember if he actually played for them. I'll have to go look.
I'm sad for the egg man. He quietly went about his business. He'll be back I think, in a pinch Strudel and him could be interchangeable. I think The Ax Man has solidified his place so that really settles most things D Now if we could somehow learn how to avoid carrying three goalies we could reduce our confusion. Anyway Go Glorious Habs

ReplyDeleteI didn't figure you'd be a fan, but they represent the three homestand visiting teams, so they're OK to be ugly AF. :)
DeleteAh, now it makes sense. : )
DeleteI was thinking how the SFU lauded their 'core four' for years (and how'd that work out?).
ReplyDeleteSo do you suppose if they were Habs fans instead, that Suzuki, Caufield, Slafkovsky, Demidov, and Hutson would be christened with Le Cinq Swank?
The 'core 4' was an epic fail.
DeleteHabs fans don't need no SFU nickname.
Our team wears the Sainted Flannel, nuff said.
The 'core 4' is now the 'loser 3'.
DeleteSainte Flannelle Unie !
DeleteSWIDT ?
Suzuki slaFkovsky hUtson

DeleteDon't understand the Mustang reference.
ReplyDeletePlease to enlighten
Go Glorious Habs
Every once in a while moe or St. Pad will throw in a Mustang picture for me, a Mustang owner.
DeleteOr, Raquel Welch, another fave of mine.
Ahh the light thickens
DeleteGo Glorious Habs
And to club everybody over the head with simplicity, the cars have Flames for tonight, the pink Panther for tomorrow and a Wing for Saturday.
DeleteA Mustang parody !
DeleteNoice !
ReplyDeleteUgh...Sportsnet tonight. Maybe I can get the Calgary feed. Of course that's probably HahaRhudey, but would still be better than Gawley.
ReplyDeleteRDS here, despite their tinge of pure wool wanking.
DeleteRest in peace to the young woman viciously caught in the murderous grasp of the american gestapo.

ReplyDeleteAmazing how CC can find those holes.
ReplyDeleteIt's weird hearing Hrudey being so complimentary of the Habs.
ReplyDeleteDoesn’t balance out his moronic post playing career.
Delete3 points for Tex.
ReplyDeleteWhat a crowd !
ReplyDeleteAnother reason why the sfu hates the Habs, us fans.
The Habs fans that go to the mausoleum in tranna make more noise than the leafools in their own rink.
DeleteRank ref.
ReplyDeleteWell played game.
ReplyDeleteEat shit SFU.
ReplyDelete#1 star Texier is the first true Frenchman (de la France) to be a Hab forward, is that right?
ReplyDeleteI think there was one before him. Can't remember his name.
DeleteGoalie Huet #39 is all I can recall.
DeleteAnybody see the 3 stars?
ReplyDeleteTex has to be #1.
