Looks like Nick has been demoted and again the guy with the 3rd most PP points in the league sits on the bench watching a second unit with guys like Stone and Marchand on it.
Agree with St. Pad..pp is way too predictable. Nature would do so much more for it...and another thing...Doughty - most over rated fucking D ever. Way past his prime and of little value in a game like this.
I'm sorry, but that's on Cooper. Ovrr-reliance on the three who were on the ice at the end, and not realizing the calm cool head of Nick Suzuki and all the winning at 3 on 3 he has engineered.
Anyway, Nature and the whole team played their asses off and earned silver, which is pretty cool.
Cooper wanted to ride the 3 Horses as much as possible. Can't blame him I guess. They had many opportunities to put the muricans away but could not beat HilleBilly.
Great to see all the smiling, healthy Habs (with a few Victoires) in the skills comp. DaCH, Hook, Wooly Bully, and a jet-lagged Tex. 7vens was the sharp shooter, Ax with the hardest shot again. Thursday seems so far away still.
Juraj Slafkovský is the first player in history to make back-to-back All-Star teams at the Winter Olympics. Only Teemu Selänne has made the All-Star team twice, in 2006 and 2014.
Do I need to remind what a scumbag this Habs hater is ?
Greg Wyshynski @wyshynski FWIW Canada absolutely converts on one of their power plays if Sid is out there. Also he doesn't lose 6 of 7 faceoffs like Suzuki did, the worst faceoff winning percentage of any player in the gold medal game.
No Sid.
ReplyDeleteNo pressure on Nature. Slots in for Sid.

DeleteCooper is a believer.
Wearing my TFS #31 like I did for Sochi. GYFCG!!
ReplyDeleteHow does Cooper NOT use Suzuki at all in that 5 on 3??
ReplyDeleteWeird.

ReplyDeleteBruce Cassidy is running the PP.
DeleteMakar!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo!

ReplyDeleteAgreed about Doughty, ratface too, they should have brought a younger D and Connor Bedard instead.
DeleteCanada pushed hard that period, finally got rewarded.
ReplyDeleteNick had a really good shift earlier.
I've switched to the American feed. Can't stand Cuthbert's voice and that they keep showing the Traitor's face.
ReplyDeleteHow the fuck did Mack miss that?!
ReplyDeleteImagine the roasting Suzuki would get if that was him.
Let's see how much flack MacKinnon gets.
Zero.
DeleteFuck
ReplyDeleteWell that sucks.
ReplyDeleteShitty shit shit.
ReplyDeleteNathan MacKinnon won't sleep for the next four years.
ReplyDeleteMore insults coming our way from the orange rapist gangster.
ReplyDeleteThe SFU will blame Nick Suzuki
ReplyDeleteUndeserved win but dems da rulz.
ReplyDeleteThe traitor will be happy his murican team won.

Now back to GYFHG hockey!
And hats off to the USA for bringing the Gaudreault jersey out. Nice moment.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the USA, they lucked out. Canada still the best.
ReplyDeleteCan we get back to proper hockey now boys and girls...I've has enough "Ice Hockey" to last me 4 years.
ReplyDeleteI thought it would come down to goaltending. Canada got goalied, it happens.
ReplyDeleteThere is always someone to blame, so on the ice was Mcdavid, Celibrini, Makar and Binnington.
ReplyDeleteI thought for sure Nature would’ve been given much more ice time. Weird.
ReplyDeleteCooper wanted to ride the 3 Horses as much as possible.
DeleteCan't blame him I guess.

Didn't Nature's CH manhandle HellBeYuck in four straight just 5 years ago? But I digress.
DeleteSo, who's getting traded after midnight tonight?
ReplyDeleteAnybody?
