  2. That was a great win.
    Demidieu's line was really good.
Nature's line had it's moments, Slaf was a little slack at times but Tex brought it.
Keep him in the lineup please.
The D struggled but the Birdman held the fort.
I would say Fowler is here for some time.

Sens organization says they will reach out to the Gatineau Outaouais region in the near future. Did they hear the noise in their barn tonight ?

Question was asked what happens when CC comes back, so here’s the way a decrepit séparatiste thinks …

Sit Bolduc or wait for it DaCH or, really wait for it, call up Blais.

What a pure wool piece of merde gag-non is.

  6. It's wild that the Habs are tied for 2nd in the division and yet still sit only 6 points above 9th place in the conference. At their current 0.641 winning pace, they would finish with 105 points. If they just play .500 hockey, they make it to 100. And it's crazy that 100 might be needed to get in this year, when they were in with 91 last year. It's just a wild and crazy guy...errr season.

Gotta get 4 points on the weekend B2B against travelling teams that are also on a tough schedule...as is every team now.

    As for tonight:
    Go Cellibrini vs Bruins
    Go Caps vs Barfalo
Wings vs Bolts (just don't go to OT)
    Go Panthers 🤮 vs CBS

    1. I don't want the leaf to lose every game and get a top 5 pick, dooming some young lad with huge potential to a life in that compost heap of a city.

    2. True, but most of the leaf players have checked out on the season so I expect the Ducks to win anyway.

  7. Pez called up by the pitiful leaf.
I wonder if they can find some Pitlicks to play for them?
I always liked Pez, he was a good soldier for the Habs in some dark times.
After last night's game, it's highly unlikely Monty plays for the Habs again this season.

Four years ago, HuGo started the long overdue teardown and reconstruction of our beloved Habs.
I never thought it would only take 4 years for them to become relevant again.
And they are just getting started.

    2. From the great Luke Fox: "We suspect seeing Brendan Gallagher’s delivering a late hit on Easton Cowan Tuesday in Montreal played a role in Pezzetta’s callup here. "

I guess Pez should give Gally a call and thank him for his 'late hit'.

  8. I sent an email to leafNet regarding gary gawley being on the Habs broadcasts.
I was respectful in my request.
It will be amusing to see if I get a response.

    2. I have sent multiple requests over the years and have never received a reply.
Not sure how respectful I was, mind you.

    3. I basically said it's a shame that I have to watch the entire broadcast with the sound muted.
I would guess they don't care as long as I watch.

  9. Just an update, the Pez got into a fight at the opening faceoff.
Gudas took out Nachos knee in the 2nd period, he's out and Gudas got 5 and a game.

    2. Heh, probably. I could never be bothered watching that bettman crap.
But leafools will be eating it up.

  11. The pitiful leaf are full of piss and vinegar tonight, all kinds of scrums and fights ... all they needed was former Hab the Pez to show them the way!

  12. Some good results tonight ;
    Dead Things lose.
    Beaners lose.
    Bisons lose.
BJs only get 1 point in OT loss.

    1. Gudas just gave them a free pass. Whether he's injured or not, they can say he is and sit him for the rest of the season. Of course they might actually win more without him in the lineup.

Also I don't recall the media being outraged when some no name minor league leaf lunkhead took Wool out at the knee?

    2. Just tuned into SportsCenter and 'the panel' spent a full 5 minutes or more talking about a non playoff team.

    3. Good ol' Pez ... leaf finally got some back bone with him in the lineup.

  14. Hopefully we won't have to worry about POS Gudas taking out any Habs players this Sunday.
Surely he gets a couple of games for the Nachos takedown.

  15. Hey the M. 146 yds to the pin at #17 at TCP Sawgrass.
    What are you hitting?
A good day I use an 8, but I'd probably go with a 7. Either one would most likely be wet.

Connors off to a great start. Hope he can keep it going on the weekend for a change.

    2. If the wind was in my face probably a 7 iron.
Behind me, depending on the windspeed, probably an 8 or 9.

    3. You want as much loft as possible because you want to drop it on the green, not bounce it.
I'm probably taking a big rip with a 9 and take my chances.

  16. From Craig Button...

“And then we get to the Toronto Maple Leafs – and when we talk about ‘have-nots,’ they define that. The cupboard is bare, there’ no question about it. They’re trying to acquire some draft picks to try to get that cupboard a little bit more filled, but the reality of the situation for the Maple Leafs there are no prospects. There’s nobody that’s coming in there to give some hope, to give the team a lift with respect to youthful enthusiasm and skill. It just doesn’t exist.

“A big part of the Toronto Maple Leafs’ future is going to be acquiring picks and then making good on the draft picks, much like the Montreal Canadiens have done.”

Heh heh, the tsn panel won't mention any of that.
They live in the here and now.
They will be miserable for years to come.
    Love it.
