Lots of talk about Whiskey getting 50 and the pundits always mention Lafleur, Richer, the Rocket of course, and even one of my faves from the 70's dynasty Steve Shutt but what about some love for the Boomer ... Boom Boom Geoffrion, the SECOND 50 goal scorer ever in NHL history?
Pierre Larouche also scored 50 but he wasn't a Habs draft pick.
Thank you to Ron Hextall for passing on CC and taking defenceman Cam York at #14 back in 2019. I forgive you for attacking Chris Chelios back in 1989 in the playoffs. It's all good.
