How does it FHFeel ?
They treat us like they do
When we’ve laid our hands upon them
And they showed us who they are
I thought I was mistaken
Then I heard MSL’s words
Tell me how do I FHFeel
Tell me now, how do I FHFeel
Lived through their vocations
From their past until my completion
Well I’ll turn away no more
I still find it so hard
To say what I need to say
But I'm quite sure that you'll tell me
How I should FHFeel in a parody
I see a Cup in the cupboard
I can and shall olé-obé
But if it wasn't for their 8-3 misfortune
I'd be a heavenly person today
And I thought I was mistaken
And I thought I heard Anonymous speak
Tell me, how do I FHFeel
Tell me now, how should I fucking FHFeel
Now we stand here waiting (HF29 on da bass)
I thought I told you to leave me
Then I walked into the breeCH
Tell me how does it FHFeel
When your heart grows cold, grows cold...

ReplyDeleteFHFun parody. How do I FHFeel?
ReplyDeleteNot that confident, to be honest. But no matter what happens tonight, it's been a FHFun run, this team has grown by leaps and bounces, and heads should be held high.
Now GYG7FPHG!
tonight tonight tonight lets GYG7FPHG!
ReplyDeleteOne significant difference between the teams is that this group of Canadiens players has been in this position already. It’s fair to say Montreal didn’t exactly take command of Game 7 versus Tampa Bay with just nine shots on goal, but they did get the win, thanks to ramping up their effort for a sequence in the third period to make the series-winning goal happen. They’ve proven they can come out on top in the most stressful situation an NHL team can face, and the Sabres are yet to show that they can handle that pressure.
DeleteGreat Parody, Moe
ReplyDeleteI FHFeel great. Just got home from walking my dog, and along the way was a free mini library on the CHurch lawn. The first book I noticed inside written by Suzuki, and titled Good News For A Change. Definitely a FHFeel good sign!
LeHab
I can't do game 7's anymore.
ReplyDeleteI'll follow along on line... Good Luck!
i was at the pub with some new friends ive made, but tbh... i really didnt want gm7 to come. when the boys got ahead by the worst lead in hockey (all of sports?), i felt double worse than when i started.
Deletematch ended 3hrs ago and i cant believe the boys got away with murder (on that early whistle). somebody pinch me. i dont deserve this.
Just fucking win . There really is no other option...GYFHG!
ReplyDeleteAaron Ward thinks the Habs should have this. He predicted 4-2.
ReplyDeleteok boys. do or die. secind chance AGAIN. dont send me to the madhouse boys!
ReplyDeletearrrrrrrrrgh!
Just finished season 2 of The Pitt in time for puck drop. I might have to get Dr Robbie to fix this old back. Or I might prefer Dr Mohan...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, LFG!
Ice Kap is in with some fresh, young legs. The opposite truck to when they put in OldKidG.
Hope it works.

ReplyDeleteBull Duke!! Lower the CHockula like dome FFS.
ReplyDeleteLetter-perfect first period. Took no penalties, scored on our PP, in control and Kapanen came close to scoring on his first shift. Just gotta maintain that focus.
ReplyDeleteBuffalo so hard on the forecheck in the Habs end. Need to defend and just get the puck out.
Delete1-1 in the Victoire game
ReplyDeleteLadies lose.
ReplyDeleteBlueSky is back
ReplyDeleteTimely glove stoppage by Doobie
ReplyDeleteSaw that coming as soon as Anderson failed to clear it at the Blueline.
ReplyDeletei noticed that too. should MSL have repercussions for this kind of lazy effort?
DeleteIt's going to come down to a hair which team wins this thing. The Habs team I have seen this season has had more good than bad, and I'm talkinv about 3rd periods. I feel like the level of focus on both teams is elite tonight. Helluva game.
ReplyDeleteThis 'Glass half full' announcement brought to you by SiM and Rolaids.
DeleteOn a night like this? Fon't wanna be the jinx-o-matic

show me the money
ReplyDelete2 crossbars. 2 missed Powerhorse breakaways.
ReplyDeletePoorly as they played, they've had their chances.
And they shoulda been on the PP when they gave up the 2nd goal.
I don't feel good about the team, but anything can happen in OT.
i realise that when you posted this, the heavenly whistle hadnt yet come, but your point remains. lucky to even get into OT. dear MSL: please dont allow this victory to overshadow a serious serious learning opportunity for your steeds. up 2-0 only to struggle for OT and then be sent on by our sacred hooker is not something to be celebrated. live and learn from this please. this is your second chance to teach this lesson.
DeleteBeen searching for one of my 'feelings' about a goal scorer.
ReplyDeleteIt's not strong, but I sense maybe another seeing-eye-goal by Hutson.
Feel it fuckers !

ReplyDeleteNever forget what those carolina fucks did to Saku.
ReplyDeleteSaku must be the torch bearer for game 3.
DeleteOhhhhh...
Delete🔥
DeleteHABsolutely right. ill havta look-up why saku is being spotlighted, but my revenge meter goes straight to when they boys had them on the ropes, 2-1 (or 3-2?) and then some series of dumb penalties leading to killer smashing the glass.
Deletethat was a chance the boys screwed themselves.....
2nd series that the refs lose.
ReplyDeleteWell we can thank Wes McCaully for a quick whistle going out way for a change.
DeleteThis is true.
Delete2nd series the refs lose? can you explain?
Deletefor my scorecard, i agree with StP and SiM. we were gifted a dumb judge and a get away from murder card. buffalo got royally screwed with that early whistle.
To be clear, I believe the whistle was correct. And I think Dobes had it covered when the Buf player whacked his glove (IIRC). Either way, Buf shouldn't have had their 2nd goal because Habs should have been on a PP. Hockey Gods evened it all out in the end.
DeleteBye bye benson you little sabre fuck.
ReplyDeleteDumbfuck dahlin is done. Get lost you bison dump.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your summer MAGATage.
ReplyDeleteSome endings can be ruff. Fuck you lindy.
ReplyDeletei have no problem with what hes said all series. i respect the guy and his deliberate attempts to deflect attention onto himself instead of his top players. a good coach does that. sorry for your bad luck linda.
DeleteWe love, love, love this moment in Habs history.
ReplyDeleteThat said, do not ever give the sfu any credit for giving these Habs credit. They are scum for a reason.
So, uh, maybe francois gag-non can go fuck himself.
ReplyDeleteTurn the other cheek josh doan.
ReplyDeleteThe first two rounds are behind us. We gained so much more brass-knuckled experience in those 14 games than Carolina did in their... eight.
ReplyDeleteWhalers here we come
agreed. the whalers is who i wanted all along from the beginning. the whalers. think about that fellas. i have never respected that organisation. its 50% my fault for being blessed in those adams division years, but im always influenced by my childhood impressions. their peak was with liut, francis, babych, ferraro, sanderson, dineen, verbeek... or when they took us to 7gms forcing russ to score in gm7 OT
DeleteDumbfuck dahlin on the ice for the Habs winning goal. Looked like a dumbfuck.
ReplyDeleteAnyone shitting on Habs fans for enjoying this moment too much can fuck off.
ReplyDeletebut until we pay this debt off, there needs to be acknowledgement the
Delete"sabers" got royally screwed
oleg - nope. If you're referring to the early whistle, it was the correct call. Dobes had it covered. And as I mentioned above it was the hockey gods chipping in because the Habs should've been on the PP for goalie interference when Buf scored their 2nd.
DeleteAnd the Habs have been screwed plenty in these playoffs, more so in the first round mind you. But they IAO'd. Identified. Adapted. Overcame. Adversity, schmadversity.
https://archive.ph/ibmGq
ReplyDeleteAlso, Montreal doesn’t want you. Their bandwagon has been full since the beginning of the ‘20s. The 1920s.
But it is permissible to put this in terms of self-interest. Because if Montreal can manage this, whatever wretched club you root for has no excuses.
Dude is so bitter. And where is his copy editor? Yeesh
DeleteThat link appears to be dead. Probably for the best.
DeleteI read it... Mr. Kelly needs to stick to ripping the pathetic leaf, there are enough good journalists in Montreal to cover this.
DeleteI watched every minute of last night's broadcast on ESPN and not hearing a moment of the SFU crying about Montreal was glorious. Messier and PK in the intermission might not be the greatest duo, but having PFK as a Habs cheerleader on the murican broadcast is sweet, even if he is a 'lot'.
ReplyDeleteMy final thoughts on this series.
- First 5 games and first period of games 6 and 7, the Habs were clearly the better team. Even the first game, it was clear they just needed to figure out Buffalo's plan of attack.
- Is it just youth and inexperience why they were getting hemmed in their own zone so often for those last 2 periods of games 6 and 7? It's not like Buffalo are some veteran stalwarts, they are (ahem, were) the next youngest team in the playoffs.
- I'm not sure what AX did to get him nailed to the bench. But it's not a recipe for success to continue playing with 5 D. To be fair, Buffalo did the same thing. Hey, in AX's 1:52 of ice time, he managed to finish a +1.
- Dobeš might be the most honest post game interview I've ever seen. Everytime, he just tells it like it is. No BS. Loving this guy more and more.
- I admit I was not a fan of the Newhook trade. A first and a second seemed very steep to me for a guy who's best season was 33 points at the time (now his best season is 34 points). But he now has 2 goals that no matter what else happens, make that trade worth it. And hopefully he stays healthy and this is a kickstart to more offence in his future.
- As for Buffalo, had the Habs lost the first round, I'd have been cheering for them. Playing a team in the playoffs can change one's vision of a team though. But I can still say a few 'nice' things about them.
- like the Habs they are young and should be among the new Atlantic Division competitors for years to come. I prefer that over those effing teams from America's wang all day long.
- Benson. A little shit that every team would love to have playing for them. I'd even say he'd be a good fit for the Habs but some mediot called him the 'next Brad Marchand' and that just ruined it for me.
- Dahlin is a bit of a dick. But he's a great player. And for what he's gone through with his partner needing a heart transplant in the middle of this season, he probably deserves the Masterton award.
- Tage Thompson can fuck right off.
- Lindey Ruff can go home and cry in solitude.
- KKx3 might not be the guy. Buffalo should look at Edmonton as a cautionary tale. If they have the team they like, they best be sure they get the guy they need between the pipes.
The zebras were far from perfect, but aside from the Rank game, were far better in this series than the first. That's a low bar considering how fucking terrible they were in round 1. But small steps. I feel now that the Habs are headed back south, the officiating might tale off again.
Yada yada yada, blah blah blah. That's all. I gotta work and forgot to medicate this morning. Damn.
-
Agree with all of this.
DeleteGood stuff.
DeleteI'd add that I am flummoxed about how they continually get hemmed in their own zone.
Also, parodies don't seem to be a jinx ...
Great rant. And as for parodies, I might have something cooking with a well-known Eagles song (and not Life in the Fast Lane, actually).
DeleteAgree, also first line getting caved in by the fourth line not a good look, but the buffalo D is special 2 fist overall picks and Byram was the top d of the draft or high. I think Doby and Rock Fast Lane could pull off something similar.
DeleteStP.... i dont know where u are from, but ill ask theM to confirm this. hooker is a player and he has skills! he spent his first yr of jr out here and when we got him, i was really really over the moon.... but there was a small ounce of hate: i know the girlfriend of fairbrother and i was cheering hard for him.
Deleteanyways, when hooker was here, he was absolute awesome. he was a first line player and relied upon to lead the attack. u/f as he matured, he developped into more of a 2-way player, but whats constant is that the guy has speed and he has hands. sometimes, these things never leave.
Fucking hell. All games are going to be 8pm EST (9 here in the Maritimes, 930 in NF).
ReplyDeleteIt's because the NHL is concerned about the west coast Habs fans getting home from work in time to catch the game at 5pm (removes tongue from cheek). I remember this from the '93 season when I lived in BC.
except for the Saturday game.
Deletehay! screw off. watch your mouth StP. us west coasters need to see how/ what a proper franchise does in the spring. there is an absence of inspiration out here so thats why the broadcasts are geared for us!
DeleteThe overwhelming choice will be Colorado and Carolina. I'm down by 4 in my pool. So I gotta pick the Habs and Vegas and hope to get the number of games correct to have a chance. (1 point for correct pick and 1 for number of games)
ReplyDeleteWhaddaya think?
Habs in 7 again? Or should I go with 6?
Kuh-niggits in 7 too?
I'll put good money that sfu's Betnet will remind us plenty how Carolina took out the Habs in 2006. But they won't likely mention this is the reason:
ReplyDeletehttps://youtu.be/EciApuzMi_w?si=PcCSkL4P9DUfE9i1
That's the only video I could find. If you look closely you might see Bigfoot in the stands. And if you look at the very beginning of the video I'm pretty sure those are the legs of Kerry Fraser who was looking directly at the play as it happened.
DeleteI will also put money on Betnet having that fuck Justin Williams making an appearance at some point.
DeleteI don't even have to follow your link to know it's of Saku almost losing his eye from JW's uncalled high stick.
DeleteAvs and Habs in 5, both. I can smell the rust on Andersen from north of the 45th parrallel
wow. thnx for sharing that clip. all i remember is that we had them on the ropes and we choked it, (only to watch them go all the way vs edm?)
DeleteThe sun came up this morning and seemed a tad brighter. Maybe we are getting closer to the summer soltice... or it could be something else.
ReplyDeleteHeading out to play 18 soon. Going to be lots of banter this morning .
GHG.
I watched a clip of the SFU leafnet panel from last night, they seemed rather sad that Montreal advanced to the final 4. Except for biekscum thay all predicted a Carolina sweep. That's hilarious, they obviously haven't been paying attention for last month. And Montreal swept the Whalers in the regular season 3-0. Shoild be another tight series, 6 or 7 games.
ReplyDeleteI ended up going Habs and VGK in 7. I don't actually think Vegas can win, and certainly don't want Carter Hart near the cup...but they would be an easier opponent, so perhaps an upset and the Habs can dispatch of them in the finals.
ReplyDeleteOk
ReplyDeleteSo I've been out of country

The Canes were facing an Ottawa team that was missing two of their top dmen, and a captain who was mailing it in from Trumpistan. Then they met a Phlyers team that squeaked into the playoffs and then beat a Penguins team that was in its death throes.
ReplyDeleteNot very stiff competition. They couldn't beat the Habs in any of their three regular season games (all against Doobie, and all out-shooting the Habs).
Andersen and the team knows the 3rd round is their Achilles heel, and this time it'll be their aCHilles heel.
Habs in 5, maybe 6 if they pull up one night.
And another thing: almost all their scoring in those 8 games has come from their top line, and only one dman has factored in slightly, with 6 assists. Imminently stiflable.
DeleteI know. Why bother?
ReplyDeleteJust killing some time as I drink my morning cuppa joe.
Thought I'd check out the two main sfu sites.
Both of them you gotta scroll down pretty good before seeing anything Habs related.
Got me wondering if their team was in this situation, how much of their main pages would be full of blue and white splooge. Ech!
So in the end, Will Smith said it best. Keep our Habs' name outchoo mutha effin mouth (I'm paraphrasing because I can't remember his exact words).
GO Habs. Suck it SFU.
Thought I'd check RDS too. A bit more Habs info there 👌. I checked their predictions.
ReplyDeletePierre Houde correctly picked the Habs in 7 over TB and again over Buffalo.
He has Habs in 7 over Carolina. I think it is written in the stars. Il est le premiere étoile. (I feel like I'm missing an accent somewhere here)
moe's favourite separatist doesn't have a prediction (yet at least that I can see).
If they can get to Freddie Andersen early, it will set the Troll Kings back on their heels. Then what, Brandon Bussi?
ReplyDeleteFreddie is due to come back down to earth. I like the Habs chances in this round. Is Kid KoHo still around?
Eff U Tom Dumbdon.
Habs and Nordilanche in 6
ReplyDeleteNordilanche it is! That works better than my Nordavalanche.

DeleteI pick the Montreal Canadians to beat the Whalercanes
ReplyDeleteSome interesting tidbits. Nylander lives in Toronto year round. Capt Underpants goes to Walmarlts world wide when he hears boys underwear are half off. Okay we can enjoy leaf suffering for the next decade.
ReplyDeleteBut for our boys, its all comming up Habs. The AI whalercanes are going to find out that being the smartest team in the room means nothing when you get that Mike Tyson Punch in the face. They are so smug and how did the Kokiemi offer shit work out? Its epic Freddie collapse. Its Rangar Lottbroke getting distracted by Montreal pussy, its all that commig down the pipe next night.
Lots of reasons to get revenge against the fake whalers.
ReplyDelete2002 the Saku eye stabbing (no penalty).
2006 losing to them again.
2022 the Aho/Kid KoHo offer sheet debacle with all the trolling after, including the $20 signing bonus.
Lots of reasons to hate these fuckers.
Their scumbag owner and then it trickles down from there. Hillbilly hockey.

DeleteMontreal Victoire win the PWHL championship.
ReplyDeleteWell done ladies, I hope it inspires your male counterparts to follow suit.
As for Colorado, I thought their nickname was the AvDicks(Diques)?
That can work. I really hope Colorado goes to the final and not the Kuh-niggets

Trivia question : Who was the last Canadian team to win the Stanley Cup before Montreal?
ReplyDeleteHint : It's not tranna.
Calgary Flames, when they beat Montreal in 1989 if memory serves. Lannie MacDonald kicked our asses in the last all-Canadian final.
