From Draft to FA (and beyond?)

future leaf?

#2 and his wingers

  1. Ha Ha ! As soon as I saw Ryker I knew this was a Saint Paddy thread.
I don't know about the ground effects on that Mustang ... you could plow snow with that front spoiler.
It wouldn't last very long on Saint John's streets.

Is the mythical 2C going to magically appear today?
    How about the 2RD?
One thing we know for sure, HuGo won't force anything.

Heading out to the links again this morning, I'm aiming for the 70s today : )

  4. It makes no sense for us to go all in on a imperfect 2C now. We have two of the best prospects in the world that might fill that roll. Also Kapeyynen is not spilt milk. Down on the farm are still some bad weeds that might flower. The whaler canes proved you dont need to be the best player, just the best team. I say roll it back, the window is wide open until Nature is 40

  6. I am also sad and happy you dont have to be a history major anymore to understand that Game of Thrones is not fiction. Hammas, Hezzbalo ISSIS are all proxy warriors working for us?? The good guys are the bad guys and the bad guys are the same. Like Janes Addiction said over 30 years ago. The gangs and the goverment aint no diffeance. It seems we citizens are powerless to do anything about it. In the AI era it will ge worse, AI will be telling you this guy is great and his ecomoic plan will make you a billonare

  7. Randbo was sad about the cop shot, its a fair song. Scott in Montreal who is a terrifc musian. I am sad for the people of Venzula today. I was 3 times in that land. It was paradise then. Of course the 5 waiters hovering over me as I ate the best steak and drank the best wine may not have thought the same. But in 1992 it cost $10 us. I went to the same place every night for seven days. We where like family. The feeling was true dispite the economics and I tipped the same as the meal. A polar beer cost 5 cents.
Talk about paridise lost. The resort I went to was wiped off the face of the earth by a landslide int 1999.

  8. Dont care which side your one. Cuban missle crisis is on the horizon. Mutally assured Destruction used to be a diffuser. Now the people in charge have hardened places in New Zealand with robot servants.

  9. Kirill Marchenko?
I like it, he or Demi could play their off wing with Kappy at C.
The Russkies can drive play while Kappy is the defensive conscience.
Or, put March up with Nick and CC and let Slaf take over line two.
Kyper thinks HuGo would have to give up a young D + whatever to make it happen.
I would be OK with a move like that.

I got no problem with Kappy as the no 2C
No problem him and Demi had some chemistry
We have to bolster our bottom 6 and add a top 6 big winger
I think we have to give Mr Beck a long look and also little Ax
We have to bring up Rino
We have to use our prospects
At least find out what we got
I don't think Hugo will be pulling any trigger any time soon

    6. I checked out Columbus on Puck Pedia, they are an older team, mostly in their 30s.
They are not far from a rebuild I would guess.
No wonder Marchenko and Werenski don't want to re-up there.
Also, Fantilli is an RFA, ripe for an offer sheet, only 21 years old.

He's a Quebec guy with impressive lineage. Though I doubt even the most senior of our FHFers remember watching his grampa Andre Pronovost playing for the Habs.
He had a career year last year, playing with Sid. Might be a replacement for Dach for a couple of years at least...that said, I think he may have had his own share of injury troubles, just based on the number of games he played the previous 2 seasons.
