  1. Nathan Beaulieu
    Age: 19; Height: 6-foot-2; Weight: 189 pounds
    Hometown: Strathroy, Ont.
    Teams: Saint John (QMJHL); Montreal (NHL);
Scouting Report: An offensive defenceman who is very adept at moving the puck, sees the ice well, makes good decisions and passes and complements all of that skill with a good shot

    Michael Bournival
    Age: 19; Height: 5-foot-11; Weight: 191 pounds
    Hometown: Shawingan-Sud, Que.
    Teams: Shawingan (QMJHL); Montreal (NHL)
Scouting Report: Limited by injury to just 16 games so far this season, he’s still scored at a point-and-a-half-game pace and is expected to fill a variety of roles as a solid, two-way centre or winger

    Brendan Gallagher
    Age: 19; Height: 5-foot-8; Weight: 178 pounds
    Hometown: Tsawwassen, B.C.
    Teams: Vancouver (WHL); Montreal (NHL)
Scouting Report: An under-sized winger with coach Hay’s Vancouver Giants, he’s well on his way to a third straight 40-goal season in the WHL but is not afraid to mix it up and will bring some scrappiness to the lineup

  3. They have Beaulieu pegged for the "specialist" role. How long before Gormley fucks up and he replaces him? I'm thinking 3rd period.

Yes Canada, let's NOT use the smooth-skating intelligent defenceman regularly. Awesome.

And you can catch Tinordi vs Lars Eller's little brother at 8pm. Looks like Pribyl plays tomorrow, also against Little Eller, but who knows if that one is on TV.

Connolly walks around some poor kid, makes Gibson look like crap. I still think Connolly is a bit of an ego-jerk but whatevs.

  13. Not sure why they don't pull their goalie.

  14. And what do they do with all those hats anyway? Should donate them to a shelter.

  15. Apparently the other goalie got hurt in warmup.

Smith-Pelly seen leaving on crutches... Joy.

How about that Huberdeau kid? A goal and 4 assists, not bad, reigning QMJHL and Memorial Cup MVP. Any way the Habs can get him out of Florida? Would PK, a veteran and a 1st rounder do it?

  18. @the M,
Huberdeau, as you have previously stated, is quite something.
Your hockey knowledge and your eye for the new up-and-comer is not surprising, especially for someone who corrected (of all places) the Hall of Fame at the Bell Centre re: # of Cups for (Dryden I think it was, my memory is like a sieve).
I know that fans' faith in the Habs is waning, but here's to hoping they come back strong tomorrow.
I think Cunneyworth deserves it, he really got the shit end of the stick!
So, I will root for them and maybe there is still a slim chance they can pull it out of their asses!
    GO HABS GO!
