So any chance of a games highlight video? I found Lego's Penalty shot but the highlight package eludes me.
It was interesting to hear Torts sounding all humble and human in apologising to the Gods in CotU/NYC (wherever they sit these days)...but you know he was going to get hit hard - ouch! 30K is pretty steep! But does anyone else find it a bit ironic that he was cited by non other than Colin Campbell for "challenging the integrity of the League..."
Anything happen whilst I was away? No, nothing OK good.
GYMFHG! I, (insert name here) do solemnly swear to jump off a bridge, should the Habs find a way to make it look like they may actually make the last playoff spot, only to pull the rug out from under their fans at the last minute, Amen.
So if I occasionally lust after Mr. Clooney but do not act on these urges, that doesn't make me gay right?
@juce - thanks for those - I actually watched them earlier and never cared much for the TSN highlights. But it's the thought that counts and I appreciate it.
@29 - Bless you my son! Like you, I thought that the LFVHAAW were a thing of the past. Great to see them again!
And thank you all for the recovery wishes. Getting there so should be fine by Saturday night (I gather that is the Habs next game...) Being on the drugs I was prescribed would have meant no booze either last night and that would have been no fun!
Holy Fuck Batmann, I missed a classic. Watching Lego soak up the moment brought a tear to my eye. Goat should have signed him to a long term contract last week. GYFHG
Was an awesome sight to see Lego soak it in like that.
At first I was thinking 'OK Lego...you can get off the ice now', then I thought, fuck it - How often does a player get 4 goals, at home in montreal, with a beautiful win and (obviously) he the first star? - suck it in Lego, enjoy.

Well this was one hell of a nice surprise. I just wish I had been there last night to experience the Bell Centre. I'm surprised if anyone can hear after all that roaring from the crowd.
Seeing Lars with that shit-eating grin was great. Good for him.
I'm happy for Lego, a great performance. I'm happy for CoaCH to get his first home win. I'm happy for Tits, who doesn't like them, errr him. I'm happy for Josh who got a sweet new deal plus scored a goal.
I'm not going to get excited about one (1) win. They are in a deep hole and will need to get about 10-12 of those in a row to climb in the standings.
But, I admit that was fucking fun to watch last night. First time in a long time I felt satisfied after watching a Habs game. Please Sir, may I have some more?
"NHL vice president of hockey operations Colin Campbell says Barch “has admitted making the remark, but denies that the comment was racially motivated.”
Campbell says Barch must be held accountable for the comment, which was “offensive and unacceptable.”
Interesting how the NHL fined fonzi 30 thousand for what he said even after he publicly apologized, oh yeah right, that was negative towards NHL, can't have public perceive them as biased or taint their image. (truth hurts) Racial slurs accepted.
Blah blah blah Brian Burke. That's a big mouth you have, considering douchbags like Armstrong or Rosehill are on your payroll.
"I'm mad as hell at the League! So I'm gonna make a big stink, and waive a concussion-problem enforcer that got beat up many times by a little guy named Francis Bouillon". OK Burke. Whatever.
burke loves him some goons, big surprise. I'd tell him to STFU! but the noise in his head keeps him from hearing anything but his own loud voice. Sick fuck.
Around the 4 min mark, PFK says he did speak with Barch but I did not hear anything about an apology, nor did I read anywhere that he actually apologized.
How fucking cool was Kid Lego whilst getting his Big O!
ReplyDeletemoeman, Awsome.
ReplyDeleteMarmaduke!
ReplyDeleteNothing couldn`t bust his bubble tonight, he was just basking in the glow. I think he tossed 4 pucks.
ReplyDeleteWell, hello there, Mr. Clooney.
ReplyDeleteHats off (pun intended!) to Eller. That 360+backflip goal was a thing of beauty.
And Eller taking in the moment? <3 <3 <3
Brilliant! I miss George, he was so charming.
ReplyDeleteWatching to l`AC, now they are signing RC`s praises. Say he really didn`t have time to coach when he took over.
ReplyDeletePoor Kmaxx, missed a good one.
ReplyDeleteThe Men who Stare at THE GOAT!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome movie.
Oh yeah and habs win. euh
apparently Saku has been called "untouchable"
ReplyDeletewe should be proud or indignant?
Well, guess we won't be getting Koivu back. However now I bet the idiots won't shutup about trading AK46 for whoever else is sucking on the Ducks.
ReplyDeleteDON'T TOUCH ELLER'S LINE! Every time Moen-Eller-Kostitsyn are together they score goals!!!
Looks like I picked the wrong night to pull a sickie...

You all remember what the Wolf said right....?
'Tis a great day to be a Habs fan.
ReplyDeleteLebrow sent back to the doghouse. Likely to make room for Gionta's return.
Kmaxx,Found this but I am not sure where to find extended game highlights.
ReplyDeletehttp://watch.tsn.ca/featured/clip595525#clip595525
so what'd I miss?
ReplyDelete@Kmaxx - I updated the post for you with the long form video highlights after a win. I never thought I'd see them again
@juce - thanks for those - I actually watched them earlier and never cared much for the TSN highlights. But it's the thought that counts and I appreciate it.

Lego got the glory but tits did most the work. I think we gotta take him off eggs again, no more enigma.
ReplyDeleteLeg godt' means 'play well' in Danish. Coincidentally, one translation of the word in Latin is 'I put together.'

For god sake don't read the Puck Daddy comments on the Barch suspension. Save your sanity
ReplyDeleteJust got some tix for Saturday night's game. Look for the half half jersey in the reds!
Never read their Pfucked up comments as I can barely make it through their continuous Habs pots shots by their leaf-loving authors.
ReplyDeleteIf Patches can get back into the groove, we still got a shot.
