Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PFK is not happy, he says he doesn't understand the penalty he thought Carey had the puck and the play was over. Maybe it's personal. When asked why he thought that, he said well if it's not for something on the ice, then it must be something else. He said he tries to keep his emotions in check.
Maybe that's why MT said earlier the PFK is not to blame and he supports him.
Didn't see the game, but is there any other Norris winner who doesn't get the benefit of the doubt from the refs as much as PK? I'd even say he's more scrutinized by officials than any old d-man. Just wish I could figure out what makes him stand out so much. If only there was something different about him, something to put my finger on. Hmmmmmm....oh well, it must all be in my head.
If you watch NHL.com highlights of the leaf game you'd be forgiven for thinking that the leaf were the ones who got 7 goals and 50 shots. I'm not kidding, I think they showed every everyone of the 26 pathetic attempts by the leaf while rushing through the actual Ranger goals. Strange, they usually aren't biased like the usual mediot suspects.
As has been mentioned by others, Canada, in this tournament, seems overmatched most of the time. Pathetic to hear Sutter blame the players for not sticking to his game plan.
I never thought they were good enough to medal in this tournament. The other teams just looked to good and Canada had no really high end talent. You need more than a lunch bucket brigade to win, especially playing in Europe.
I'm glad PFK had the balls to come out and challenge the unaccountable refereeing. Its simple, he has two things going against him, the CH on his jersey and the colour of his skin. The refs are starting to affect the outcome of games and the point standings. DGMB needs to ask what is up with refs not playing by the rules. Four fucking blind rats on the ice.
If PFK came out publicly to say what he did then he obviously believed the play was dead, he's not one to make excuses for himself. I didn't realize the context of MT's presser saying PFK was not to blame and he supported him at first as the 2 aired in reverse order, and only when I saw PFK's post game comments did I realize why MT said what he did.
He used to get so many imagined, border line calls that to me seemed so blatantly biased, most calls any Norris winner would never be called for. That seemed to stop for awhile and I hope this is just the exception but sadly I think now he will be 'black-listed' once again.
Reading about the Habs last night it seems Vampire Dan is back from the dead. Reading between the lines eMTy has not been using his strengths correctly, what a surprise. His feet may not move but his hands boss use the hands.
If I was PFK I would drop then N bomb. " I am sick and tired of being the NHL's N$. Every time I touch someone I get carded and called for skating while black" This would give him so much room, every ref in the league would be afraid to make a call on PFK. Bonus it would make Couches corner go ballistic.
PFK is very articulate and eloquent in what he voices. I think his use of the word 'personal' leaves it very wide open for interpretation, so maybe he did without actually doing so while at the same time can't ever be accused of doing so. Very smart and politically correct.
As FHFers know I'm always thinking. So here's the latest mindblog from yours truly;
At the end of the season, PFK and The Montreal Canadiens agree to a 7 year $8M per contract. PFK gets the bucks he deserves and will continue to deserve with one less year than the max to hopefully bag even more CH cash in 2020. Wait, it gets better, They also announce that part of the $8M per (say $1M) will go directly to CHarity (say the Canadiens CHildren's hospital Foundation) thus bringing PFK's official salary directly in-line with that other superstar defenseman at the CotU. Bonus, The Montreal Canadiens organization, hockey's greatest franchise, ever, also announce that Pernell K. Subban is made Captain. For added fun, the event will take place here: http://www.ohlarenaguide.com/forum2.jpg
I like your thinking Moeman. I have been watching what people are getting on new contracts and then taking in PFK's efforts - the number I always arrive at is £50m. Divide it how you wish, but your call on a 7 year deal is excellent - I might just adjust down slightly and I font know if buttman would let the Habs get away with the charity big of the contract you described...but until Therrien is gone I don't see PFK signing anything frankly...
Any/all new 'big' Habs contracts should have Geoff Molson there with a big fucking % cheque to CHarity. Also, at the end of the year when Molson has to cough up his revenue sharing amount, make the same amount in yet another BIG FUCKING CHeque to Charity. Make that fuckface bettman and those useless PHO and FLA teams look the fools they are.
Congrats to the Finns and Habs prospect Arturri Lekhonen. The hardest working team and perhaps the second most talented, slightly behind the Swedes. The Swedes perhaps feel like Canada did in Calgary losing to the Russians at home. The Swedes didn't melt down like Canada did and were right there at the end.
Argued (arguably?) as one of the best hockey analysts says PFK and TFS will represent our beloved country in Sochi. He definitely takes a leap ... (NB: no Prince$$)
What kind of asshole is dredger? He thinks he has they right to spew this kind of CotU bullshit. Sick fuck:
Considering the minutes he logs and the role he plays for the Montreal Canadiens, can P.K. Subban be a seventh or eighth defenceman for Canada?
Dreger: If you ask P.K. Subban, he'll say absolutely. Just name to the team and I'll worry about where I fit in when we get to Russia and we start competing in the Games. But from a management or coaching perspective, Team Canada has to ask the question. You're a big minute guy for the Montreal Canadiens. Are you okay with being a bit player, if you will, not playing in games and being used sparingly if all of the defencemen on Team Canada remain healthy? Again, I believe that the answer is yes. P.K. just wants to make this team.
He is one of the sickest-leaf-ass-kissers of all time. Sometimes I hear him on 690 and when he says something and they kind of call out he will always say it's not him, it's the thinking of Hockey Canada. Fucking Coward.
Bet they knew all along that PK would be there but decided to create all this media controversy because it just makes the Canadiens look bad and in their world that means the leaf are better. Now as the roster is close to being publicized they have to concede that he will and therefore give them back 'credibility'.
He's a fucking unaccountable liar. He is the pro version of that sick disturbing shit-disturbing eklund. Plus he's related to nonis and sucks that fat leaf fucks balls regularly.
PFK won't be no bit player on Team Canada. Once he gets there, he will dominate and show those fucking leaf loving mediots who is the better defenceman. Phangoof couldn't carry his sweaty jock.
I hate the 'national' rag globeandmail for their disgusting 24/7 leaf meatbeat bias and the braindead people that run their sports division but they did post this:
I have a load of my back and I want to attack. So its a given that PFK will be at Sochii. And he will star, and we will happily pay another million to be in his orbit.

ReplyDelete7-1 NYR
ReplyDeleteGoodnight kidz.
ReplyDeleteOh well, at least the leaf got pummeled and the Habs got a loser point.
ReplyDeleteGood night moeman, thank you.
ReplyDeleteWell we got a point, wish it was 2.
ReplyDeleteGo Wings Go.
Canada lost, Sea Dogs lost, Habs lost, yep, a perfect hockey day for the Maritimer. Yuck!
ReplyDeleteWell, Therrien said the penalty at the end didn't help but PFK is not to blame and he supports him.
ReplyDeleteVerbatim but something like this"
ReplyDeletePFK is not happy, he says he doesn't understand the penalty he thought Carey had the puck and the play was over. Maybe it's personal. I'm trying to find on the net but nothing yet.
PFK is a marked man now - in addition to being the wrong color.
ReplyDeleteHere's PFK

After this aired, RDS disagreed with PFK but they also showed MT behind the bench trying to say something (to the refs?)

ReplyDeletethe Maritimer
Go Rangers - embarrass the fuck out of the stupid fucking leaf and their blue ball licking cbc cockroach mediot fans!!
Mission accomplished!!
Not sure what is more fun, the leaf sucking or the cockroaches sucking the sucking leaf.

ReplyDeleteHate to see sadness on the sweet Swede gal fans faces but today's better team won. Great showing by the Habs' prospects on both teams.
