TSN held off for two paragraphs before making excuses for the broons. Are they the first team to ever have back to back games or 3 in 4 nights. No one ever even mentioned last season when the Habs had to play them after playing the night before. Hell, the Habs opened this season with back to back games.
Habs have gone +11 over the past 4 games. They had a -9 difference the two games before that. I like the current version - the team is looking good. the PP goals will come.
It's hilarious because all the leaf lovers are saying the Habs haven't been as good as their record. Uh, weren't you the guys picking out your seats on Yonge street last November when the leafs were winning despite being outside by 20 every game?
By the way, the Habs may not have played as well as their record suggests, but neither have the leaf. The difference is the Habs can be better, and Price will actually continue to be that good.
Ice cream! and wings!
ReplyDelete25 points. tied for the league lead
ReplyDeleteice cats!
ReplyDeletesomehow we lead the league in points, but we have a +2 goal differential. smoke and mirrors!
ReplyDeleteI don't thing the Habs have had a positive goal differential since their 4th game when they got smoked by the Bolts.
DeleteAlso the blowout by the Rags and shut out by EDM( ?)

ReplyDeleteYeah they started 3 in 4 and 4 in 6 on the road, hence the 7-1 debacle against TB. Shit happens.

ReplyDeleteOne of the more mediotic things you'll see on the inturdwebs are sn's power rankings, where they have their leaf ahead of Montreal.

MT2 seemed happy in the presser. and stylish!
ReplyDeleteHe had a 'vested' interest in looking good.
DeleteThe headline for this game at NHL is "HAB MERCI" which took me way too long to figure out.
ReplyDeleteGreat work by our main man 29, fun comments and a fantastic game. Bonsoir les ami(e)s. Sleep sexily!
ReplyDeleteThanks moeman & 29, great tag-team.
DeleteIf it's any consolation, they are 18.2% on the PP at home. It's just that they're 0/25 on the road.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the Habs only won 9 games when the other team scored first last year. They've done it 7 times already this season.
I love your stats.
DeleteWooHoo - what a lovely scoreline to wake up to this morning! Can't wait to watch it later...GO HABS GO! Suck it you fucking shitstained b's
